I have two paintings on consignment (for sale) at the store since April. I never heard from the owner before the store closed. Does anyone know how to get a hold of them so I can find out how to get my pieces back?! Thank you!

This shop is permanently closed, as well as their location on lovers Lane. I found this out the hard way by driving there only to see the storefront is completely empty and available for sale. Neither of the phone numbers work either. After a Google search I believe they have merged with another store called ditto, changing both names all together to something called echo?

Random is a gift shop located in a shopping strip on Mockingbird Lane. They have a handsome collection of local stuff ranging from candles, custom magnets, handmade cards, jewelry, and some vintage used decorations for the home. You can find art and collectibles from artists all over Texas. They even have a section for Texas souvenirs if you happen to be a visitor. Definitely check them out. Lots of fun things to see.

I really like local businesses and try to shop at them before any of the chains. Random is a charming little gift store with interesting jewelry and home décor items and treasures from local artisans ranging from candles to pottery to paintings. It is a great place to find an unusual birthday or hostess gift, and conveniently located at the corner of Mockingbird and Abrams!

What a cool store and so close to work! I was able to pop in for a last-​minute birthday gift for a friend at lunch time. I found some beautiful earrings in my price range that were made in Texas, too. When I checked out, she put my purchase in a pretty drawstring bag, perfect for gift giving.

This spot is an interior decorator’s dream. Or at least someone on the prowl to redesign their abode. Overflowing with charming furniture pieces, knick knacks, and old finds from 60 years ago — you’re bound to unearth some sort of hidden antique gem here. Indeed, just like any home store with vintage finds — the prices can reach an unattainable amount, but never unnecessarily excessive. It’s got good stuff. Check them out.

Wow. All that is random can literally be found here at Random! This is a fun & cute store where you can find vintage items, used items, & new items such as, art, jewelry, books, tchotchkies, & house décor.
The owner is a great approachable guy who seems to know about every lil thing in his shop, which seems hard based on the amount of random content!
I bought an item here as a gift for a friend. So I settle on a gift after having fun browsing the entire store, & happily take my purchase to the front. I asked the owner if he had a small box for it & in turn he asked if it was a gift & offered to wrap it for me w/​out any additional charge! The wrapping was beautiful, btw, & was masculine enough to not look girlish.
Also, they have sales & clearance items. The weekend I went, Random was paying sales tax on the customers’ behalf to get in the back to school shopping spirit. Pretty cool!
This will be my go-​to place for gifts & gift cards. These cards are not your typical Hallmark card. They are artistic & a lil kooky — perfect for expressing your feelings in a more meaningful way.

What a find! I bought a necklace made from vintage glass mardi gras beads. It is beautiful and affordable. They have more pieces by this artist. I love this store.
If you need any local artwork, local jewelry, cute gifts, kids gifts, super cute doggie stuff or just a place to wander around and look at pretty things – this is your place.

Cute cute cute! What a great place for gifts! You will not walk out of this store empty handed. The only problem I see with it is that I didn’t go in for the longest because the storefront sign makes it appear to be totally different than what it is. Don’t be detoured by the bright, cheesy storefront!

Artwork, jewelry, kids stuff like headbands and purses. Little phrase signs, wine glasses, cute stuffs for your house. And the prices are VERY reasonable! Waaaaay cheaper than Gypsy Wagon’s miscellaneous gift items.
I usually come in to browse on my lunch break — this shopping center that this store sits in can cause serious time suckage for me — you have Random, Steinmart, Dollar Tree, and Tuesday Morning. I have to set the alarm on my phone or I’ll just daydream and shop away…
