You can not get any two pieces of chicken that you won’t at this popeyes the manager need to put a sign on the outside for people to see that.

This one is in the ghetto. Or I would assume it’s in the ghetto. Would come here if I’m coming home late from work and need something quick in the area. It’s Popeyes. I’ll get the 3-piece combo and it’ll give me two meals. One time, I went down to order and some guy comes in and asks me if he can charge his phone in my car. Um, no. But the cashier said he can use the phone in the back to make his call.

I don’t frequent Popeye’s often, but some fried chicken sounded good today. However, the lunchtime drive thru service was poor. I couldn’t understand the person taking my order because she sounded like she was speaking from a script and acted if I was interrupting her day. I will stick to McDonalds, and Burger King because at least the service is very good there.

I got food poisoning! I ordered the spicy chicken tenders with mashed potatoes. Will not be eating here in the future! The worst stomach cramps ever.

I give this place 2 stars. Only because Popeyes’ chicken is delicious. The service at this location has to be the worst in the city. I’m not sure what exactly is going in the back. I’ve been to the drive thru here three different times hoping they might improve, only once on my own accord, and can tell you not one of the times has the order been correct. The first trip a few months ago, my brother and I order two strip meals, I ordered blackened he ordered mild. As we pulled up to the window the woman handed us, and stated, «two spicy tender meals». He said«No, one was mild the other blackened». She retorted with«You didn’t say that. This is what you ordered.» Again he said«No, it is not. I would like one mild and the other blackened». To this, she huffed, rolled her eyes and yelled to the back«They want something else now!» 15 minutes later our food came out and the side orders were incorrect. Instead of wasting time, we decided to just leave. My second stint with this place was very similar. My last and most recent trip was today. I ordered mild tenders, thinking it would be easier to get and quicker than blackened. I got to the window and the new girl at the window was very kind and a little confused on how to take the order. At least, I assumed she was new. However, my order was incorrect after mentioning four different times I wanted mild not spicy. With my previous experiences I decided to let it go and just eat it. **NOTE: None of my trips here have been during peak hours of business. I do not know if they pay more attention when they have multiple customers or not. I do however know when it is slow, they could care less.** I don’t expect perfect customer service from a fast food chain. I don’t expect you to know my every whim. I do, however, want the proper attention paid to the order I place. I understand the pay isn’t great and the care level is low because of that, but you’re hired for the sole purpose of guest satisfaction and order accuracy at least try your best to achieve that. I will no longer visit this location and if I knew who owned this location I would speak to them, as I fear the GM there might have a similar attitude as the other workers.

I dined at the Continental Ave location tonight after the Ross Ave location was closed due to weather. And let’s just say, it was worth the drive. I enter the restaurant and riffs of Big Band jazz are emanating throughout. I approach the counter and order from a young man named Dovante. He was very friendly and attentive to my needs. As I waited for my spicy chicken strip dinner, homeless people roam the parking lot. I watch them from my seat as I sip my Arnold Palmer and listen to a UPS man sing a little tune. My meal arrives with an array of sauces. The strips were cooked to perfection, while the red beans and rice provided a nice complement. I finish my dining experience and as I’m exiting the establishment Dovante thanked me again. He is the GOAT. As I walk to my car, the homeless lady from before the meal was on the bench apparently and had subbed in a guy with fresh legs. Alas, my friend gave him some money, but unfortunately we had no strips to spare as they were too yummy. Five stars. Without a doubt. Top shelf, where grandma keeps the cookie jar. I almost gave them 4 stars because of being berating by the homeless, but they were nice enough and I just couldn’t bring myself to downgrade such an amazing experience. My hat goes off to the Continental Ave Popeye’s. Step your game up Ross Ave.

It’s OK. I go here because it is close to home and sometimes you just need a quick fast-food dinner. It beats McDonald’s… However, the staff, I think, isn’t all there. I have been several times, and they don’t seem like the brightest bunch. I haven’t had any trouble with rudeness, though, so I don’t complain too much. I just make sure I double-check my order when going through the drive through. The spicy chicken strips are absolutely delicious. I am such a sucker for good spicy chicken strips, so I will be back on occasion.

my food was cold and the manager seemed angry at me for asking for extra sauces. my friend accidently ordered wrong and got the third degree too. At least his food was hot though… won’t be coming back just based on their attitudes.

Very clean the employees don’t seem too friendly and being from New Orleans it just seems the locations there are better. Beware of the homeless and beggers who frequent this location. Location is very clean and the sound of jazz in the background is soothing

Well, it’s close to home, cheap, and certainly tastier fried chicken than KFC. I really like their Cajun fries and mashed potatoes too. Biscuits are only meh, and wifey and I had… erm, tummy troubles the day after eating here, but it’s fast food… that’s the risk you take.

Walked in hung over. Walked out full and ready to tackle the day! I generally eat healthy, but hey you only live once so enjoy it! Great food, good service.
