Everything is awesome here! Best phở I’ve had in Dallas! And the service is really good too! And the place is clean! So excited me and my boyfriend found this place !

Decent Phở place, almost as close to California I can get without traveling to the far outskirts of Plano for good Vietnamese food. Food is consistent, flavorful phở broth. They are spot on the grilled pork vermicelli/rice dish.

Ish. Not the best yet not the worst. Their meat is tasty with the Vermicelli bowl but that’s about it. They didn’t even bring my wife the veggies for her Phở for at least 40 minutes. I judge off of egg rolls and theirs were not memorable. Disappointed.

This is delicious food with friendly and prompt service. The phở is delicious and the curry sauce is truly one of the best I have had in Dallas. The only negative is that the chicken tastes a bit fatty. I’d stick to vegetable or other protein. They give you huge portions so splitting is definitely an easy option. The broth is rich and delicious. I wish they had bok choy, but that’s a minor thing. Great little neighborhood spot. Food picked up to go is packed well to keep everything fresh and delicious(with phở condiments and broth separate, etc.). The spring rolls are delicious and cheap! They’re hard for me to resist. You can’t go wrong with any of the protein fillings for the spring rolls. The rice and noodles are homemade delicious – nothing boxed or frozen here. Really good place.

I walked in to order two bowls of phở to-go and the employee at the counter tells me to come back in 20 min. Because he had too many to-go orders right now. Who does that?! I left

Nice place. Spur of the moment decision to go to this place since it was the close by. We ordered the p1, and spicy phở. Veggie. Only issue was when we walked in during lunch time, they were pretty busy. But they did apologize profusely later on that they were short staffed. Food wasn’t too bad. I have eaten better. But still good a good experience and worth the price. We When we walked in, the air-conditioned didn’t seem to be on, so I told them personally to switch it on and the rest of our time there was great. The waitress was quick and available once they realized that that we were getting impatient. All in all great experience.

With the massive influx of phở restaurants in the DFW area, it’s often hard to tell which ones are legit and which is just MSG broth. The phở here is truly homemade tasting and we like that it comes with lots of vegetables our favorite is the shrimp with vegetable curry phở. We are like the beef filet stir fry dish!

The food here is good. Nothing amazing, but good. The atmosphere is a bit cold and reminds me of a retro cafeteria. The servers are good and have always been nice. This all amounts to a three star rating right? Well have you ever liked a place and then you met the owner and all of a sudden the food doesn’t taste very good? Well take it from me, don’t meet the owner and you will probably enjoy your meal… lol. Arrogance does not mix well with Vietnamese come to find out. It takes all types to make the world go round as they say. For the nice servers sake I hope they do well :)

I was in the area running errands for work, and needed something to eat before going back to the office. This place was right next to me so I walked over and decided to try it. I’m so glad I did! I got the Banh Mi «Korean style» with beef and kimchi. It was excellent! Even the egg rolls were delicious! The Banh mi had amazing flavors going on from the cilantro, garlic, kimchi, and everything else they put on it. It was so good I may have to stop by and pick up some more for dinner! Definitely try this place out. I’m glad I did!

This is our favorite Vietnamese restaurant and we drive extra far to come here even though there are several right around the corner from us. The food is always delicious and the staff is always super nice and accommodating!

Terrible delivery. If you want your food in any kind of timely manner just make it yourself. Because it will take over ages for them to make your food. Then when you call about it and ask about it, you will be rudly told that its just been made and they’re waiting for their driver to pick it up. So 2hr into my waite they tell me its going to be a while longer because well you know… Reasons. So at this point I’m guessing that the food is just sitting on a curb somewhere and my driver is getting head from a hooker while smoking some rocks and what not, and has likely forgotten that he had a job to do. I guess a handjob is still a job… right? So if you want prompt service you’ll need 2 things rocks and a hooker.

Very good food, service, in a clean well designed environment. The broth was EXCELLENT with full body and not over salted. Parking is a bit challenging.

This is the third time I’ve had lunch here, but the first time I’ve ordered something other than Phở or Lo Mein. This time I went for something different and tried the Lemongrass Chicken. I was not disappointed. The steamed rice which accompanied it, my choice you can get other types of rice, was cooked perfectly. The main dish was outstanding! The chicken was perfectly cooked, it came with scallions, white onions and jalapenos. The dish struck a perfect balance between spicy, lemon flavor and saltiness. I would highly recommend this dish to anyone who is dining at Phở Envy. The service was attentive without being overly obtrusive. Although I went early and the place was empty, it started to fill up as I finished my meal. If you are in the area, give this place a whirl. The Phở is very tasty, not overly authentic, but tasty nonetheless.

I was out running errands and saw the marquee for this restaurant. Returning home, I decided to stop in. Inside is very contemporary and fresh. The waitstaff greeted me, were very friendly and very attentive. I ordered the steamed chicken dumplings and chicken Phô. Both dishes were prepared perfectly. It was so delicious.

While I was not that impressed with their regular phở dishes, I was really impressed with their curry chicken phở. I have been back here just to get that dish. The curry phở was rich in taste with just a touch of heat, and not too salty. The phở noodles are standard fare, and the chicken in the soup ranged from slightly overdone to perfectly tender and moist in the two times I’ve had it. Highly recommended. The salt and pepper chicken wings are also really good. Deep fried and then tossed with salt, pepper, fried garlic, fried jalapeño slices, it really hits the spot. The crispy bits of garlic over the chicken are fantastic. Also highly recommended. I did not order it myself, but a friend ordered the dry vermicelli bowled with grilled pork. It was the largest vermicelli bowel I have seen at a Vietnamese restaurant. I got taste it and found it to be very good. I plan on coming back to have it myself. The Thai Iced Tea was only ok. Edit: On another visit my wife tried the Curry Pad Thai. We found the combination of curry flavor with the Pad Thai peanut sauce to taste odd. It just didn’t work for us.

Food is 5 stars. Absolute perfection. Service is zero stars. I feel like take out is the only way to go unless you want to have your food come out at random times, no refills on your drinks and service at the speed of evolution. After trying it twice, I won’t eat in again. Just take out from now on.

I usually prefer to go to the mom and pop Vietnamese and Thai restaurants, but I thought I give this try, since it’s so conveniently by the mall and shops. I recommend the vermicelli noodles. Two thumbs up! I got pork and shrimp and what I loved about the shrimp, was that i was nicely grilled. The food was good and the presentation was nice. Waitress was very pleasent, always tapped my water off, it was clean, decorative and the accent color of their brand is very pleasing.

Phở Envy is a Vietnamese restaurant that specializes in phở(Vietnamese beef noodle soup). It’s locate in Dallas in the NW Highway/Hillcrest intersection which makes is convenient for those who live inside Dallas. My Overall Rating — 3 Stars(Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere — Located in the Hillcrest shopping strip, Phở Envy is a clean, green & orange color themed restaurant. It appears to be divided into two sections but there are plenty of tables and ability to configure them multiple ways. That’s definitely good for groups. It’s basic but to me the most important item for a Vietnamese restaurant is that it’s clean, which it is. Beyond that, not much charm. ½ Star. Service — Our service was very good. One thing I really like about the new Vietnamese restaurants inside Dallas is that many of them actually have good service. When you head to the suburbs, you may see your sever a total of two times: Once to take your order & then when it comes out. But here our server was prompt, patient(it was our first time), and we had multiple people assisting is with bringing food out and special requests. No issues here. 1 Star. Food — Started off with spring rolls that were nice and fresh with plenty of peanut sauce. I ordered a banh mi combo which comes with a banh mi of your choice and two egg rolls for $ 8. I don’t know if the egg rolls were good because my son at them both — good sign though. As for their banh mi, the put it in a Panini press. Why? I have no idea — but while it still tasted like a banh mi it didn’t look like it. Let me smush my own bread if I want. As for their phở, it was a bit sweet for my tastes. Also, the broth was really cloudy. I guess I’m used my mom’s phở, which is very clear, but she takes the steps to clear the broth of the brown stuff that bubbles up. My phở was so dark I couldn’t see the slices of meat or the phở. But even with the cloudy broth and sweet flavor, it was not bad at all. 1 Star. Will I Return? — Maybe. It’s in a good location for me, so I could see myself coming back. Now, I will never crave Phở Envy, but I think they serve a good bowl of phở for this location. Let’s put it this way, if someone suggest Phở Envy, I won’t veto going there, but it wouldn’t be a place I would suggest right away either. ½ Star. My Unilocal Rating Scale(Sum of all parts): 1 Star — Atmosphere — Is it a cool dive? Perhaps an upscale place? No matter the type, atmosphere plays a big part and I’ll give a star if I like it or thinks it has great charm. 1 Star — Service — You can have a great meal with bad service. But that’s also what can make a five star joint drop to four. It’s important to the dining experience that service is great and on point. 2 Stars — Food — I’ll award up to two stars for the food, since this is the main reason we dine out. Sometimes the extra star is given for value, but it’s really all about the food. 1 Star — Will I come back? — If I know for a fact I’ll return, I’ll give this a star. A place has to make an impression for me to return. Each Category can be given up to 1 star except food(2 stars) because I consider all these categories important to the overall dining experience. I will sum them up to provide my final Unilocal score.
