The Pete’s coffee bar inside Market Street is fantastic. The employees were very nice and attentive and made sure to understand exactly what I wanted. There are a lot of interesting drink selections. I went with my usual decaf Café Americano and it was great. The flavor was very earthy and intense without being too acidic. I was pleased that they had a wide variety of sugar-free syrups and they have Truvia on the bar along with those little cups of various creamer varieties. The seating area is nice and comfortable. The area is large with a lot of seating so it was very easy to find a quiet spot to enjoy my coffee. This might be my new favorite coffee spot. Next I have to try their iced coffee.

It usually has good customer service but it seems to be going downhill. I was surprised it was still open this late but we went in and ordered. While ordering, a male worker kept giving me weird looks. It definitely made me feel uncomfortable but at least he wasn’t taking the order. While ordering, I find out that they ran out of different things which is normal during these winter months but instead of updating their menu or putting up an announcement, they leave it like it’s available. We choose different items and sat down. I had ordered an oatmeal and tea while my sister bought herself a cold drink. The same worker that had been giving me weird looks came up to us and said«get up and get out.» They should’ve told us when they saw we sat down that they were about to close. We were rushed out and yelled at when we tried to throw away a napkin and the empty packets that held the blueberries and sugar into a trash can. I ended up spilling some tea when he yelled because I was holding on to my bag and a gift bag plus my drink and oatmeal which were hot. He then slammed the door behind us.

One of 2 customers in line… ordered a dirty chai and a croissant. After 5 minutes and watching the staff just stand around, I approached the counter to inquire about my beverage. After some discussion between staff, they stated someone told them they had made it. They upgraded my drink to a large for inconvenience, but it’s still a mediocre chai. Pretty disappointed with my experience, and pretty sure the Sheraton could do better.

JESUSCHRISTISTHISPLACEEXPENSIVE! $ 9 for a danish and a large coffee. WTF. Friendly staff but sticker shock was enough to have me not go again.

Really appreciated the service. I wanted hot green tea and the front was out of green tea bags. The wonderful lady asked if I would not mind waiting and went to the back and got what I ordered. Apologized for the wait which was quite short and she served my tea. Friendly and kind — that’s what it is all about!

I am a big fan of Peet’s and at home will go out of my way to frequent them, but this location is awful! 2 stars for the coffee, zero for the incompetent staff. Don’t think it’s possible for them to care less about what they do.

After living in California for 28 years Peets rules! I almost cried coming to Texas and not having Peets. Then suddenly I get off DART and behold I see a Peets coffee shop, I was over joyed!

I’m not a coffee snob so it’s hard to mess it up for me. Good cappuccino and ok atmosphere. Was a little slow today — lots of people and sub 40 temps in Dallas can cause that…

Hubby and I never usually stay in large brand chain hotels. This last minute quick trip to Dallas forcefully lead us to Sheraton downtown. Too big for our taste, however upon waking up early we were feeling hungry and didn’t want to get dressed to go out and room service looked less than appealing. I read the reviews on here about Pete’s and thought oh well I’ll just give if a try anyway. So glad I did. I’m a Starbucks regular and by no means are their pastries and breakfast sandwiches amazing. Let me just say, Pete’s blew them out of the water. Sausage and egg sandwich and cheese croissant were so delish. I got a skinny café au lait. I love loved it! A little pricier than the usual but if it’s good I never mind. Try it out if in downtown big d!

Coffee here is quite good, but holy macaroni! The prices here especially baked goods would make Starbucks blush!

No line at 8am on a weekday was the first hint of things to come. I’ve been to a Peet’s in Seattle, so I thought I had a reasonable expectation. I wasn’t expecting to hear that asking what kind of iced tea they have without sugar was a confusing request. After a few minutes, the cashier passed me off to the barrister, who suggested a latte. Apparently, in Peet’s world, a latte does not have coffee in it. Weird. It turns out they have a dispenser for unsweetened iced tea. A dispenser! By that point, it was no surprise that the cashier did not know how to ring up my order.

I really like this hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious and very close to museums and good lunch spots.

Peets is such great coffee. I mainly drink iced coffee — all the blends they have used are flavorful, smooth and have soooo much less acidity and bitterness than starbucks. This is a little slice of West Coast heaven in the middle of Dallas. I’ll take it! I’ve intro-ed several people to Peets and most have switched — even ordering their coffee online if needed. They love the medium to bold blends for hot coffee — even some tea blends(I’m not a tea drinker so I can’t speak to that). Tip– don’t buy your beans here — you can get them cheaper at Tom Thumb or sometimes Sprouts. But it is worth whatever you pay. Love this Peets being here and will frequent as often as I can. The staff outside the hotel have even let me park to quickly run in for coffee. Can’t say enough great things.

Liked this chain when I frequented the western US and this is consistent with them. I’m not too picky with coffee but this place is better then sbux for sure. I usually get the café au lait with hazelnut.

I lived in LA for 5 years and fell in love with Peets, so when I moved I was oh so happy to learn that there is a location near my job. I have swung by here whenever I have time to walk on over. The season is almost over, but their Pumpkin Chai latte is to die for. They also have great coffee that is always fresh. The only negative(aside from being a little pricey, but what coffee shop isn’t these days…) is that they close early, but being in the Sheraton you can’t blame them. Let’s just be happy there is a Peet’s downtown! The workers have always been friendly & smiling, so in addition to the lovely smell you also get good service which is a big plus nowadays.

Gourmet coffee at its best! I’m from northern CA and Pete’s was my regular morning stop. I trilled they are finally in Dallas. Watch for their seasonal eggnog latté — it awesome!

I popped in here for a business discussion with a colleague, and we were the only ones in the place for a bit. We got fantastic service, and not just because we had their undivided attention. The drinks were yummy, and when one was made incorrectly(just a communication issue), they redid it for free in a flash. Very yum!

It’s a Peet’s in a hotel near the Pearl Street Red Line station. They close early — like after 6, forget it. This helps nobody on earth; not the patrons of the hotel and not the people at the train station and not Peet’s. The people who work here aren’t really baristas. They are people who work at a coffee place in a hotel. They mean well. It’s just pretty meh sometimes. Hit or miss. When they are open.

Coffee was decent, nothing special. Lines were not too long(since I was lucky), but the person who took my order had problems understanding orders. Coffees came out relatively fast.

Woo Hoo! Peet’s has finally come to Big D. Hubby and I were heading to Deep Ellum for a show late Saturday night and, lo and behold, out of the corner of my eye, I saw Peet’s at the corner of Olive and Live Oak. «PEET’S,» I screamed, as we turned the corner. Me So Happy. I’ve missed my neighborhood Peet’s. And, while this one is not in my ‘hood, the downtown Dallas locale isn’t so far away that I can’t make it a habit. Peet’s coffees and teas are way better than anything Bucky’s cranks out. And, if you like the ice-blended drinks, I highly recommend Peet’s Freddo. DEE-lish!
