Papa John’s Pizza

I placed my order last night (Oct 14) online and tipped in advance so it could go on my credit card. I should not have tipped in advance. The pizza arrived on time but it was not what I ordered and it was not hot.
My order was a large thin crust, 6 toppings, the garlic knots bread (new item… tasted great, 110 cals each as stated on their site) and the cookie. I requested that the pizza be well done because I think their normal bake does not cook the crust well enough. And I requested the square cut slices. When it arrived the guy asked me if I wanted the pepper flakes or parmesan cheese packets. I asked for the pepper flakes and he gave me 3 of those and 15 permesan packets. It felt like he thought he was doing me a favor when in fact he didn’t listen to me.
Each item came in its own box. The pizza box was on the bottom of the stack and it did not feel hot. When I took it to kitchen and opened each box I confirmed each item was not hot. They brag on tv that their pizza is delivered hot and it wasn’t. I called the location and talked with the new manager. She appologized and agreed the items I bought should have been hot. In addition she reviewed my order and then offered to send out a new order or note on my account that I could receive same order for free next time. I opted for the latter and reheated my items (not the cookie).
I don’t order pizza often anymore but it seems to me that pizza delivery quality isn’t what it used to be.

This location is very inconsistent. The quality check on the order is not very good so you don’t always get exactly what you ordered.
For example last night I ordered a pepperoni with mushrooms and got a pepperoni. I looked at the tag and they had my address on one and another person’s name, phone number, and order on the other side.
Sometimes they forget the 2-​liter or substitute it for a different product.
I’d say only about 25% of the time is my order actually correct. They’re right across the street so I’ve gotten in the habit of sending them back over to fix the order.

They won’t let me order at 10:20 pm saying they are closed. The sign that I’m looking at on the door says 11:00 pm is when they close. Well we won’t be coming back here ever again!!!
