So clean, incredible customer service from Justin, and amazing amenities. Highly recommend. I have been a customer since 2009 and I have never had better customer service than I did today from Justin. Thank you for making my tanning experience wonderful!

You guys they have the worst customer service ever! I’ve never dealt with a «manager» and manager who are so unwilling to sell products for their store. Don’t they work off of commission? They aren’t even willing to see what packages they can put together. They don’t try to sell you tans. If you don’t want the most expensive one then they aren’t even interested in speaking with you anymore. Justin the manager is so unhelpful and his little lady sidekick is so beyond rude. Use any other pbt but this one. Save yourself the hassle unless you are going in and know what you want and want to spend tons.

This place is horrific. I recently moved back to Dallas and found this Palm Beach Tan was the closest on Google. I went in and somehow ended up paying $ 170 total for a month of up to level 4(used 4 times in that month= $ 42 a tan) even though I kept telling the girl I wouldn’t use it enough for it to be worth it. The information was spread out, I was never handed a price list, and I had to pay new customer fees(FORWHAT?! What cost could there possibly be for a new customer?) which were not mentioned until my card was being swiped. The beds were fine, nothing special for the price. I was silly to let it happen now looking at any other pricing in the area I feel very ridiculous for paying that. I will NEVER go back. i was new to the area and did not know where else to tan, hopefully you are researching before going in and being pushed into a complete rip off. I wish I had read up more.

This location’s employees lack integrity and knowledge of their policies. I had gone to Palm Beach Tans in the past and never dealt with such rude employees. I went in last year to cancel my membership and signed what I thought was a contract ending my membership. Months later I noticed I was getting charged, and I spoke with the manager and she said I had only«frozen» my account, rather than cancel it. I was tricked in to keeping my account open, rather than canceled, for their profit. No one explained to me what I was signing, all the while I thought I was ending my membership. The manager could not explain why this happened. I even e-mailed corporate, and they were terrible at addressing the problem. Palm Beach Tan, especially this location, does a good job at tricking customers and being dishonest. Several times I walked into my tanning bed’s room, there was still old sweat from the previous customer on the glass that you could very obviously see. When I would tell an employee, they would only roll their eyes at me and attempt to clean it up. They are lazy and all seem unhappy to be there, plus do a bad job of cleaning up. One of the front desk girls also seems very unhygienic and is very rude. I would not recommend going to this location due to lack of hygiene, rudeness of employees, as well as their dishonesty.

As of today I have cancelled my membership. I’ve had a membership with Palm Beach for about 3 years. The membership is very overpriced already but I was paying for the convenience of them having multiple locations and late hours. Several years ago I signed up for an unlimited membership for sunless tanning using any of their sunless machines. Recently many of the locations started offering the versa pro machine. I have requested the versa pro at the last two locations I have visited with no incident. I visited this location today and was informed it would cost me an additional 8.50 if I wanted to use the pro. I was informed that the other locations only have the pro now and do not carry the old versa unit so they had to let me use the pro. However, because this location still has an older machine on site, the pro was only included with their new diamond membership for an extra 20 bucks a month over what I already pay. The girl couldn’t show me any of this in writing. None of the price literature she had contained this information and instead reflected the plan I had. She assured me the machines use the exact same solutions; that the pro just«heat infuses» the solution. However, I have found the pro gives more even coverage and does a better job of drying. Additionally the heater on the regular versa at this location is broken and several of the screws aren’t even fully screwed in to the machine. It’s a poor quality unit because of an obvious lack of maintenance. I purchased what was supposed to be unlimited tanning on any machine they have. Now that the pro had come out, they have decided to exclude it. I would have expected that new customers sign up under the new pricing but existing customers have the plans they signed up for honored. I realize I could visit just the locations that only have the pro so they would have no option but to let me use our, but as I stated, the large number of locations was a large reason I continued to pay as much as I did in the first place. Limiting those options was the final tipping point and I will no longer be a member.
