Lovely dinner… if I was poor. The baked ziti was lovely but it tasted like plebeians. Overall good meal. 10⁄10 would recommend for best Italian in Dallas.

Went with the $ 40 — Meal for two Let’s start with service — 0⁄5 — iced tea had big chunks of tea powder in the bottom. Pointed out and the waiter got me another glass and the new glass had tea powder in the bottom too. I settled with water but paid for the tea however. Food — Caesar salad had very less cheese. 4 cheese pasta was average. Egg plant Parmesan was under cooked and cold when it got to our table. I took one bite and left it by the side. The dessert — crème brulé is the worst I ever had. Got the 2 pastas home and heated one of them up per instructions — Tyler street baked ziti was OK but here is the kicker — I fell terribly sick the next day. Threw away the other pasta I got home as far as I could! It doesn’t matter how much food you offer for the price. I would have been much happier getting half the quantity with better quality and taste. Utterly disappointed.

Date night for my husband and I. I like to think of Maggiano’s as a «nice» dinner especially considering the cost. Once seated things went downhill, all thanks to our waiter. He seemed overwhelmed and had issues. First I told him 3 times I wanted chicken on my flatbread. When the food came I got sausage. So I gave it back, and sat forever watching my husband eat his meal. Once I got food I quickly ate 2 – 3 pieces thinking I’d take the rest home for lunch tomorrow. Also my husband still had ½ his spaghetti left. The waiter came and cleared the table and I thought he was boxing it up for us. He tossed all of our food. I was so furious. Basically over $ 50 for 2 – 3 pieces of flatbread. How could he just toss half of our food like that? I’m not ever coming back there.

$ 40 gets you four classic pastas(2 for then and 2 to take home), an appetizer to share, and a dessert to share. Not a bad deal! We had the mushroom ravioli, which was super creamy, a bit too creamy and cheesy for my liking but a lot of people like it that way. Also had the baked ziti, which tasted like pasta with a normal run-of-the-mill red sauce. The dish that really stood out was the grilled calamari, which was on their«chef’s special» menu but we were allowed to include it in the $ 40 deal. It was the size of a full entrée and was so tasty! Chunks of grilled squid atop a bed of flavorful dark greens, grilled peppers, olives, a sprinkling of cheese, and lemon. I definitely liked the appetizer more than either entrée. The food here gets 3ish stars, just because nothing but the appetizer really had much of a wow factor. But the service bumps it up to a 4! We opted for bar seating to avoid a 1hr wait but it ended up being a table with full waited service, just near the bar. Our waitress was super quick without making us feel rushed and she made our experience feel so much swankier than what a casual meal by the Northpark mall would normally feel like. Food came out quickly, too! All in all, a good experience.

Its very pretty on the inside, a lot aof tables and served quickly, the plates are served on large quantities and if you order pasta, you take home another plate. It is madera from scratch, fresh.

We’ve been going to Maggiano’s for a bit. My in-laws live in Glen Lakes and this is one of our standby places for our family get-together. Our favorite appetizer to get is the Bruschetta. If you’re a pasta lover, they have an order one and have another to take home on their menu. I usually order angel hair(which is not readily in their menu but will happily substitute) with meatball and my to-go is spaghetti in alfredo sauce. Can’t beat that. We’ve had their raviolis, linguini, gnocchi, etc. and they’re all great. They have a nice selection of dessert as well — Tiramisu, Apple Crostada with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, Crème Brullee. You can order the mini sampler and have all of them in one plate. The servers are always friendly and helpful. Well worth it!

I have always loved coming and never been upset with my service or food. We had a really great experience with one of the waiters on our last visit. But today we went for Christmas Eve dinner and the same waiter was wearing a festive Christmas tie. When we commented on it he gave a snooty look and kept walking. So I guess they are only nice if they are serving you. But our waiter was great and as usual the food awesome.

Perfect service, excellent food, and how the hell do they to full meals for the price of one. And then that price is cheap and the food is so good. My first time here. Took my girlfriend and here two teen boys for there for her birthday dinner. When I received the bill for the night. I was amazed, had to look to make sure he didnt forget anything. I figured minimum 200 for a meal deal like this anywhere else. Walked out leaving a substantial tip for a little over half of what I figured i was going spend. If you haven’t tried this place, I feel sorry for you.

Don’t ever let them seat you upstairs. I have eaten here many times and its great food, great service, unless you eat upstairs. I have eaten up there 4 times and every time the service is slow and the food cold. I’ll be back but never upstairs again…

I am a huge fan of Maggiano’s sausage gnocchi, so darn tasty and rich! This is my favorite dish and I rarely order any other main dish. I’ve been to both the Northpark and Willow Bend locations several times and find the Willow Bend location more comfortable. I can’t quite pin down the reason, but I do! Both locations are much larger than they appear and are located in Shopping Malls. I live in Addison, so it is a little bit of a drive, but worth it for the gnocchi. The service is decent, and more bread is offered if you eat up your first loaf. Pretty difficult to not eat up a loaf of hot, soft, freshly baked bread with a bit of olive oil and vinegar! The restaurant is definitely made for family dining, if that is not your thing, you can always call ahead and order to go. I always make a reservation to avoid a thirty minute wait.

My wife and I went here Friday night to celebrate her birthday. The food was good and the service was absolutely outstanding. They were very friendly and helpful without being obtrusive in any way. It felt like visiting a much smaller family owned restaurant. When they brought out my wife’s cheese cake for dessert, they had not only decorated it with«Happy Birthday» in chocolate, but all of the staff signed a card for her as well. We’ll look forward to coming again! Doug Allison

The star HERE is the bread. It comes out HOT and FRESH and they’re not stingy ATALL with bringing it to the table all night. My favorite way to eat it: dip it in the olive oil, seasoned with a little salt and pepper. I couldn’t get enough of it. Once again, we had an awesome waiter. To be able to handle 11 of my family members AND we were all hungry, yeah he deserved all of the praise. I liked him a lot because he suggested things, that always is a great thing. The best thing honestly about Maggiano’s is their Buy 1 Get One to Take Home option. It’s the best deal ever. For $ 13-$ 15, depending on what you choose, you can choose one entrée to eat for dinner and then you can choose another entrée to take home. I mean, you can NOT beat that! The only classic Italian dish I’ve ever ordered is lasagna, which you can never go wrong with. This time, I got the Spaghetti & Meatball. Once HUGE meatball. It was good. It’s pasta at the end of the day, so I mean, you’re already good to go. It came out hot, fresh, the meatball was seasoned perfectly. Nothing to really complain about. Now, let’s talk about my take home dish: the Lighter Take Baked Ziti. It was so good! Even when I heat it up the next day, it tasted fresh and it was so much food. YES I finished it all in one sitting. The melted ricotta and the chicken sausage. I couldn’t get enough of both, I wanted more. I usually don’t order dessert, but this was a special occasion, so the chocolate truffles and the tiramisu were on the house and they were both really good. The truffles were my favorite, so moist, so chocolaty and they were chilled too, loved that! That was really sweet of them, no pun intended LoL

I love Maggiano’s. They have great food and great deals. I think they have 2 meals(includes appetizers, 2 orders of classic pastas, and dessert). And what’s great about ordering the classic pastas, is that if you order one, they give you an option for another one to take home with you. So, pretty much you get two pastas for $ 12.95 or $ 14.95, depending on the pasta that you choose. I have been craving for spaghetti for so long, but every time I go to an Italian restaurant I tend to order everything else, other than spaghetti. –__-” So, for the first time, I decided to stick to my craving and I ended up ordering their classic spaghetti with meatball with meat sauce and my boyfriend ordered the mom’s lasagna. The result of it was terrific. Everything was great and everything was quite tasty. The service here was okay. They were quick and fast-paced but I wish that they gave us a different table because it felt like we were shoved into the corner, giving my boyfriend not a lot of room to move around. And just in case you were wondering, no we did not come in during rush hour for lunch or for dinner. So, I’m not quite sure why we were stuck there. Other than that, I think it’s a wonderful idea to have these great deals. The food is terrific. The atmosphere is terrific. You should definitely stop by and have their classic pastas. ;)

I’ve visited this location twice and have absolutely no complaints. The restaurant has plenty of parking outside and valet if you chose. The restaurant is large. There is a lot of seating. Since it’s usually packed there might be a 15 – 30 min wait. The décor is traditional Italian. The tables have the silverware laid out with linen napkins. The pasta is made fresh daily. You can taste the difference. The texture is smoother and it holds the sauce better. The prices are reasonable. They have a 2 for $ 39 dinner. You can select an appetizer, an entrée and a dessert. The stuffed mushrooms are a great starter. I had the fettucine and my love had the lasagna. The food is delicious and filling. They also give you a 2nd portion to take home! I feel like I’m stealing from them with the price. I haven’t met a tiramisu I didn’t like. The service is great. Each server was attentive. They both had recommended items that we enjoyed. They have great sangria. We ordered the carafe and polished it off quickly. This is a great place to take a date, have an event, or enjoy a family dinner for any occasion.

Let me preface this by saying that I am a second generation Italian. This place and food is an insult to my heritage. Maggia-NOs. Way over priced for the blandest fakest Italian food you have ever tasted. Terribly under seasoned. You would only like this place if you had stunted taste buds. The chefs don’t even know what al dente means. My pasta was soooo over cooked and mushy. One of the seven kitchen deadly sins up there with under seasoning. Service was slow and unfriendly. There were lots of screaming babies there when we went. I can imagine it’s child friendly, but do you really want your kids to grow up not knowing what good food tastes like? If you like food at all. Stay away.

I happened to be in the mall today and was craving calamari so I stopped in to Maggiano’s for a quick bite & early dinner. I sat at a table in the bar area and waited a good 10 minutes for someone to come by and take my order. An older well dressed couple walked in and joined the group sitting behind me — that’s when I heard the server go over and ask«What can I get for you?» She noticed when I spun around and must’ve read my mind when I looked at her like«Hey, I’ve been sitting here for 10 minutes and you go to them first? WTHeck?» To which she replied, «I’ll be right with you ma’am». I was suddenly self conscious of my Hard Rock Café sweatshirt & jeans. So «Julie» eventually walks over and asks what she can get for me. I noticed they had a new seasonal sangria cocktail on their menu priced at $ 22 a pitcher. Since I wasn’t going to order an entire pitcher for just myself, I asked what the pricing was for per glass and she replied $ 8 so I ordered a beverage. It was delicious. I also ordered a seasonal special on the menu of crispy shrimp and calamari served with peppers on a small salad bed. Again, delicious. Service was very attentive and she checked on me often without being intrusive. What I did not like about this experience and the reason why I’m not rating this any higher than 3 stars, is because when the bill arrived, the cocktail that was supposed to be $ 8 was being charged at $ 9 and my server was no where to be found. Guess I should’ve called a manager over since the area in front of me seemed to be the hangout spot but I was tired from traveling and just wanted to go home. So I just paid the bill and left. :-(
