1. Atmosphere was wonderful! 2. Music was a perfect blend of many genres. That’s it! Not enough seating for guests waiting on a table. It was hard to get seated because everyone I asked sent me to someone else. Had to wait in line at the register for the cashier to tell us to ask the waiter… I’m sorry, «What?» They were moving so fast when I finally caught one he was in such a rush I could barely get my words out. Then we finally got seated at a big table outside where they seated another group as well. But here’s the gotcha… they seated us AT A DIRTYTABLE! took forever to come back and then I caught him to say hey clean this please and can we order. He said: «Oh I thought you were finished.» I said to myself: «I can see how a DIRTY table could yell that at you!» *KupofKokoa*

This place is closed. The lighted open sign on the door was lit up to indicate that they are open for business but there was a sign in the window that says closed for remodeling. I suggest you call before you go. Luckily it’s a busy area so there were more bars around and we found another hookah bar right down the street.

I’ve been here two times and the second time was because I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but service was terrible. My friends and I waited 30 mins to have our table wiped down and then another 30 mins to figure out who our waiter was… it was ridiculous. There are other hookah places that are worth your time and money. Don’t waste your breath here(literally).

I’ve been dying to get here!!! Not only did I get here but I also handed for happy hour. That’s right. Every drink was $ 5. Half priced food. And $ 10 hookahs. Sat on the patio. The couches have been there and back. And are pretty dirty. None the less I still sat in them. The hookah flavors I got were the kush house blend and peach. Really good. Ordered the gyro. It had a mix of beef and lamb. The pita bread was good. The meat was tender and the fries were bomb! So good. I can’t remember the drinks. I know I know, shame on me but mine was really good. Over all I think I over hyped my first time stepping in the place but I will definitely be back.

Food was horrible, drinks are overpriced and hummus was ridiculously overpriced and worst of all, they put a thin layer of hummus over a bowl, not even a whole bowl! Outside area is dirty. I went there for a friends birthday and I will never go back there.

I went on a Tuesday night. They had four dollar wells. Nice place to hang out and lounge and smoke hookah since there wasn’t much people on a Tues night. Our server was great!

Was in town for the weekend. Came in here as a pre-party pit stop after grubbing across the street at the Truckyard. I was off-put by some of these reviews dogging service, but as vast as my hookah experience is living in NYC, we had an exceptional time at Kush. The manager personally seated us and took our order when we were ready. If not for him, however, the rest of the lackadaisical and/or lost staff could run this place into the ground.(I almost had to grab the coal zombie.) Fortunately, between the pomegranate martinis, Modelo especials, ethnic soundwaves, and super smooth mint hookah we didn’t care too much. No strict hookah sharing rules, open air seating, and proximity to other bar and restaurants would make this an admissible part of your night out.

Been here many times in the past I’d rate it from 3 – 4. Went last night and I’d rate it a one. The new guy with the facial hair is rude and shady. I was embarrassed to be there with my friend. I asked for help getting a table and he ignored us. We stood there waiting and talking amongst ourselves. It wasn’t until 30mins later a concerned waiter approached us. Hosting is horrible. Multiple parties were seated before us… there was no leadership. New guy was mainly interested in talking to girls and looking cool. We saw three older men walk into the men’s restroom together and this new guy let it happen, multiple times. It’s a one person bathroom! Gee, I wonder what they were up to. Went to Qariah instead. Relaxing atmosphere and much better service. Goodbye Kush. Never forget, 6÷5÷2015.

Not impressed. Service subpar. No Kabobs. Hookahs are never serviced, had to ask for tongs to service own hookah. I’m giving it three stars, because we did come on a rainy evening and this joint offered an inclosed patio. Crapy service, but they have a patio. Heyyyy!

Made reservation, still received poor reception Short of staff and chaotic. A hookah place running out of hookah is just unacceptable

Service was horrible. The girl sitting next to us who works there and was off helped us more. Our waiter was taking shots with his friend and smoking hookah instead. We waited 45 minutes for our check cause their system was down. They comped my half and then charged me twice. Good drinks but not worth it.

Served Earl Grey Tea — Atleast The Service Was On Point The server was great — The tea was decent(no mint) — and the hookah was satisfactory. I found it very interesting as this establishment turned into a full-blown nightclub in the evenings; but I’m sure it’s great for them as they are catering to a niche market. I personally just prefer a more traditional hookah bar… but overall I must give 5 Stars because the server was an interesting and kind person.

This place is the pits. It’s one of the last remnants of old-lower-Greenville. I’ve been here several times for hookah and food, and I regret it every time. The food here is not memorable. It’s very obvious that they just«cook» up frozen or prepackaged food. It’s usually pretty slow coming out. The bartenders are ok, nothing unique on their menu. The hookah is also ok, nothing memorable and a little pricey for what it is(I get it… rent is high). The crowd here can be rough at times, but the thing I hate the most is the attitude of this place. They are never welcoming and service is consistently mediocre to terrible. Going back to the crowd being rough, an acquaintance of mine saw a legit stabbing happen right outside of Kush a few years ago. You’d think they would ramp up security, but nope. Also passed by this place when I was down here after the St. Patty’s day parade. Again, rough crowd and little to no security. Anyway, I heard Kush is on its way out and will be closing soon. I won’t be missing it.

The best thing at this restaurant was the fresh cut lime and the only thing that trumped that was leaving. Drinks: ordered dos Equis which was warm, asked for another one and it was same temperature. Food: ordered Greek salad which was basically shredded lettuce no dressing barely any feta or tomato I could barely down it. My boyfriend ordered chicken wrap which came on a microwaveable pita bread. Hookah: the kush flavor was suggested and it tasted like hogwash. The couches were uncomfortable and there were only 2 servers running the place so we had to get their attention in order to place food/drink orders repeatedly. I just started walking up to the bar to get the drinks faster. Not once did they come by to ask what we needed. The owners were sitting there and did not bother to greet any customers or see if anyone needed anything. Waste of date night which we rarely get to enjoy and waste of $ 100. Never going back here again.

I have to give Kush a little more credit. I’ve been back several times since my first review. It’s still not the greatest hookah bar I’ve ever been to but the service is actually pretty great. Last night, I had a bad day and they helped ease my mind with a few drinks strong enough to kill a buffalo. In addition, my friend and I ordered a flavor we had not tried before. We didn’t like it, and they switched it out for us with no problem. Also, the wine was surprisingly good. Overall, this place knows its own identity. Give it a shot sometime.

This is a conveniently located hookah bar. It’s not my favorite I’ve ever been to because the ambiance could use some work and their hookah could be improved by adding a fresh fruit option. I came on a Monday evening, hoping for a DJ, because many reviews mention Monday night DJ sets… But there wasn’t one. Not sure if that is normal or not! I will definitely be back, though! Also– yay for happy hour prices.

GREAT place to hang out on the weekends, especially Sundays… I know from personal experience. Been there a couple of times after a Dallas Cowboys victory and it’s very laid back, can get a little crowded, but the inside bar and outside hookah and lounge area make for a good bit of room. If you come with an empty stomach, I’ve heard the Kush Greek Salad is always a winner and I’ve had their chicken strips and wild wings and I must say that I’m a fan. Fresh AND delicious!

Great hookah, awesome vibe and the food is delicious!(Yes, I’m taking to you lamb gyro!). But… the service leaves much to be desired. We stayed there for a while on Saturday evening and it seemed as though our servers continually forgot about us which definitely affected our overall experience. We continually had to ask for our charcoal to be replaced throughout the evening, and although we ordered food 40 minutes prior it never came out. We were informed that they had simply forgotten… and we had to wait another 15 minutes for them to even put the order in. Not a winning combination for a hungry, tired group. Lastly, why the majority of tables were reserved on a 4PM for parties that did not arrive until several hours later is beyond me and really uncool considering there were only a handful of folks who were in the building at this time. Overall– the service needs some work but the quality of the hookah and food will make sure I try to give this place another chance before writing them off.

I have been here a few times and had a lot of fun. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, the DJ played a mix of good music from now and the 90s. I go for the hookah mostly, but there is only one hose so you have to take turns if you have a group. Maybe they have some with more than one but I haven’t used one. The place is really busy on weekends but the staff does their best. Only complaint is for them to clean the place up a bit and get some new cushions for the patio. also to fix the restroom door(wont close) It’s not a fancy place but it’s fun.

This is gonna be quick… we ventured here for an hour and a half after hitting up another spot. It was packed but we found a table, the service wasn’t all that. The owner/mgr looking dude seemed to notice we needed help. He stopped only enough to tell us to make sure we stopped the waitress. Like really dude? I’m sitting at a table with no drinks, no hookah but I have to stop a waitress. Ok! We ordered the Kush blend, $ 15…it was cool. The music was good and the crowd was fun. Imagine a spot full of laid back drunk people not acting an ass but all about a good time… They need to do better about keeping the outside forces i.e. cold at bay. That tarp like thingamajig didn’t do much to keep that Dallas cold off me, I was freezing my azz off!
