Golden Corral

A few staff members were nice but the cashier was not. There’s a limited amount of choices to choose from and the food isn’t that great. I was hoping that the quality of the food was worth the price but it wasn’t. It turns out that my first time there was not a fluke, it was the same on my second time there.

When we walked in there was an overwhelming smell of old fish and it went downhill from there. Approximately half of the tables had dirty dishes, the bathrooms were GROSS. Unfortunately they have cotton candy on their dessert bar and the kids want to come here EVERYTIME they get a vote. The first time was okay (food sucked but it wasn’t dirty). This last time was the worst and after watching a kid dip his fingers repeatedly, kids are finally convinced and we won’t be back. The only nice thing I can say is we have never got food poisoning.

Golden coral is… Golden coral – and that’s not a bad thing; however, there’s a free magic show week nights!

Excellent food here! The is a clean restaurant where they have a great verity of foods. Before coming here, we went to another Golden Corral on Camp Wisdom Rd. and the eery said they were all out of most meets so we came here.

I haven’t been out here in a while and 30+ bucks for 2 people! Totally overpriced! I won’t be coming back, I could have had better food, atmosphere and area somewhere else.

Just came to this location with my family to eat. Family of four was $ 50. That’s like $ 12 – 13 per adult. $ 8 – 9 per child. Walked around and took one look at all of the food (which wasn’t even much of a selection) then asked the manager for my money back. The food was old, fake, and gross looking, with some food not even cooked all of the way. Watery mashed potatoes? Who screws up that? It’s one thing if I’m going to a cheap buffet not expecting much, but to pay that much for stuff that you can get at the grocery store out of a can for less than a fraction of the cost (and probably taste better) is just crazy. I can’t speak for all of the locations but this one is horrible is not worth the price or convenience. I will never visit this one again. I gave it two stars only because they promptly gave me a refund with out any problems.

I normally don’t like these all you can eat buffets serving comfort food. Golden Corral isn’t any better. Most of the food bland and has no flavor.
I only come if I am looking for value or just being cheap. Instead of spending like $ 10.00 on a combo meal.
I will say the only thing good is the chicken noodle soup. Omg it is surprisingly good.

The food was alright. My family and I stopped by on our way home to San Antonio. My wife did not get the proper cut on her steak. My daughters food had a hair. Won’t come back

In a world where people are eating healthier… Golden Corral is the defiant force of eating whatever and however much you want!
I started with a great pairing of the ham and mac n’ cheese, followed by fruit and steak with nachos, mashed potatoes, and a soda… mmm… Sounds great, eh?
For dessert, I had the chocolate fountain paired with cotton candy, a brownie, and a square of jell-​o!
Ok, ok… so I didn’t really have those things (as far as you know (because I maybe feeling a bit ashamed of myself)), but let’s get down to it.
The service here was par. It was kind of what we expected, so not bad.
The food here was par, but seriously bad for you. I wouldn’t recommend eating here on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. This is one of those places you come to cheat on your diet, and go big or go home! RIGHT?!? So maybe once a quarter? Nay, once every 6 – 12 months.
The restrooms were messy, the plates were a bit dirty, and… well, it was a buffet. I don’t know what you want me to tell you, but it’s a stinkin buffet. You get as much food, drinks, etc, etc, etc that you want. And you feel guilty (and maybe a bit sick) afterward.
I’d say if Golden Corral were the only restaurant ever, I’d cook at home.

the food service was quick and everything tasted like a typical golden corral. they have the fondue fountain and cotton candy as well as the steak bar.
they kept the restaurant clean and the managers worked hard to keep things in line.

This was my first time at a Golden Corral. There fried chicken… OMG was soooo freaking good! I loved the salad bar, they will make a steak to your order, I tried the crab cake… ummmm hated it, the mexican rice was good, I loved the chocolate water fall… that was awsome!

Been there a few times & never want to go back. Food is always blah or over seasoned or unavailable at this time. The walls are filthy & the buffets (especially the dessert) are almost never wiped down regularyly. We went to try the new seafood campaign they have going… at 1^st, the guy at the grill acted like he couldn’t speak English & when my hubby went to try, it took 15 mins to get a crab cake & it wasn’t edible. Won’t be returning.
