This is a place to sell and distribute cocaine. I lived at the Gable Park 17 for a year and people would meet at the club then do coke after wards at the Gables. There were 3 major drug dealers that have been booted from the Gables now however Glass is still a meeting place for coke heads. The Police that direct traffic on week nights said they knew of the drug problem but they were traffic offices and that vice was working on it. This place is not a safe place its now even more ghetto. I work across the street on McKinney Ave. The sight of this place and all the ghetto people standing around after I get off work on the weekends causes me to wonder when the DEA will do a raid.

I went there for a friend’s b-day a few months ago to check out this place. I liked the glass-like décor to the place, it effortlessly gave it a cool feel to it. Another great place to get a couple of shots and drinks, and to people watch. And if you are really really trashed on that night, you’d probably enjoy it even more lol. I think this is for those who have outgrown the typical 18 – 21 year-old crowd, but still not ready for a really really chill-like place to just hang out and don’t care to be seen. I don’t mind coming back here, but only on rare ocassions.

Horrible. The DJ is killing this place. It was completely dead at 11:30 on Friday night. I feel sorry for the owners and investors. They have sunk a lot o $ in this place just to watch it fail.

Came here for a friends birthday on a Saturday Night. We were a bit tipsy already and i think it made my opinion of it a bit better. This nightclub plays club beats and is a pretty fun time. The DJ’s really know how to crank it. The DJ booth is a lot of fun to watch actually. They look like they’re always having a blast playing some fun ass music. The strobe lights here really make you feel trippy. So order a double to enjoy it. They have a patio of some sort but its quite small and you pass it on the way here. It’s where all the nasty smokers hang out. So… so much for breath of fresh air. Oh if you need to find parking just park near the museums. The meter’s stop charging after a certain time and it’s just a short walk to it. Also, it gets really freaking hot in here as you dance the night away. Try not to bring anything you need to hold becuase there isn’t really a place to set your crap down anywhere. Drinks here are 4⁄5 bucks for a cocktail. I don’t know if they serve beer or not. I don’t remember seeing beer. Overall i would come here again if you’re looking for a decent electronic music nightclub.

I’ve been to this club multiple times over the past 6 months. It has steadily declined in appeal and the quality of the clientele. The manager has told me they’ll «never charge a cover» yet the last time they attempted to charge us. However when they realized we were bringing more girls than guys they quickly changed their tune. I don’t appreciate that stereotyping one bit. Once inside be prepared for gawking patrons, guys who stand in the corner, and girls who should have been cut off already. Truly pathetic. Where I once would have given glass a 5, I now wish it could be awarded a 0.

I am not impress with the pretentious Vegas attitude at the front door. The club looks about 20% max capacity but they still act selective in their patrons. The fat red-dot Indian dude working the line was extremely rude on top of that. This place is Wac-Arnolds!!! Don’t make this a destination for a sat night like I did. you’ll regret it.

AVOIDAVOIDAVOID !!! What a shame that such a beautifully done up place was so empty on a prime Sat night. OPENLETTERTOTHEOWNERSOFTHISCLUB I think the door staff the place employs is probably a major contributing factor to the decline of this club. I went this last saturday night. we had been to several different places and drove over from ZAZA. On walking up to the front door there were only 2 people waiting in line at the door. Now i understand that the clubs like to have people standing outside as it creates an air of exclusivity etc but i find it very disingenous when they have people waiting outside when there is no one inside. What this does is piss the people you keep waiting… and factors in their decision whether they come back to your establishment… anyways i walked up to the door guy ZANE right behind the people entering and as is my custom at most of the places i frequent i had a twenty in my palm which i handed him discretely. Now… mind you this place did not have a cover charge… the door guys looks at the twenty and says he cant let me in for less than 60 !!! i was not paying a cover to a designated person at the door but tipping him… his comment was loud and obnoxious enough to embrass me in front of my lady friend… anyways we walk inside and the place was completely empty !!! I sugest that you start paying more attention to your customers and turn things around soon or the next person that leases the space after you file bankruptcy wil make a killing on it. Best of luck to you

I went on a Saturday night, from the reviews below we had high hopes for our girl’s night out. We arrived at 11pm and the line was minimal. The bouncer asked if we were on «the list» and checked a clipboard as if there were some very important people expected or something. I don’t go to clubs much. Is this a new thing? To pretend your club is so important you have to be on a list to get in? Did Dallas suddenly turn into Hollywood in the last few years while I was busy conducting a life? Pretty ridiculous. Anyway, I digress. We were an attractive group of women so of course he just waves us by. Pretty sure that every single person in line was given the same line of BS about being on «the list». They all seemed to get waved in. Inside it was decorated well, large long bar with some standing tables in front that were lit from within to give a block of ice effect. Bad blue lighting on some girls, but what can you do ;-). There’s a patio behind the DJ booth and a large room with some seating off to the side of the bar/dance floor. Of course there’s the standard bottle service table areas scattered around the dance floor, and the token stripper looking girls wandering around serving the bottle service areas. The DJ was decent but at 11PM it was pretty dead. By 12:30AM it had started getting busier. The crowd was kind of a mix of people — mostly late 20’s to mid 30’s it appeared. Guys in sport jackets and jeans, girls dressed a little too casually in my opinion. This décor and atmosphere kind of requires you to be dressed to the nines — like make a statement ladies. Don’t wear your sun dress or boot cut jeans. Anyway, meh. But I hardly drink and rarely go to a night club(once a year maybe). I think if I were to get drug out again I would probably try something else.

Glass is beautiful to look at. A great place to be if your wanting something swanky. I wouldn’t be a regular here but it was fun when I went and I would go back again. Music was good.

If you want to see actual reviews of the club, look it up under Glass Lounge. They are so consistently bad that they had to change it to Glass Uptown. Bad crowd, bad music, bad vibe, horrible staff, and even worse valet drivers. I swear I could hear the driver drag racing my car down the street. Stay away!

* Drinks are stiff enough and bartenders are nice. * Space is really pretty with gorgeous lighting on the dance floor. * Music is fun. * There are many gorgeous women, many mid to late 20s with flash outfit(literally tight, bling, and glittery) * There is a huge separate VIP area, but you cannot really watch people from the VIP area. * There were many who were making out, at least on the day I went. * Overall, fun place and worth a visit.

I won’t be going back here honestly… the scene isn’t great… they treat customers badly, and the drinks were TERRIBLE… expensive and low quality. I suppose I’m just not a club person so take this review with a grain of salt. But honestly, this was the worst club that i’ve been to in dallas.

What I like about this place is that it is big enough so folks can walk around, dance and people-watch without being crammed into a sardine can. Glass is beautifully decorated and the ambience is very upscale and luxe. They also just built a Vegas-style pool club on the roof of Glass called Revive, and although I have no clue how they expect that pool to be large enough when summer rolls around, it is a fun place to lounge around and have a few pre-drinks with the city skyline as a backdrop. As always, with a lounge/club scene, you will always get your share of Dallas douchebags, and here it is no different. But if you are looking for a fun place to dance with your friends or get the night started, this place is A-okay.

I went to Glass soon after it opened. i would say it was a decent club — good music, diverse crowd, fair amount of room to dance. Like any new club in Dallas, there was a line to get in and all that douchey stuff.

I came to this place with a big group not long after opening night. Some of the guys we were with had a little trouble getting in until they made it known they were getting a table. But, the door guys were still nice though. Once inside, I was impressed. This place has one of the nicest decors of any club I’ve been to in Dallas, and I like that it has a little«lawn» around it. It feels a lot more spacious than most Dallas places. It’s definitely for fans of the super-upscale-dallas vibe with the techno/dance music and all that comes with it. I ended up having a great time. The waitress at our table was so nice and gave the best service I’ve seen at a club like this. Drinks were expensive, but well done; even came with fruit slices, an assortment of juices, etc… This is how you«do it big» in Dallas.

I’ve been here a few times with friends. It’s ok not spectacular. The music is very very loud, maybe some people like that but personallyI like it loud enough to dance and low enough to talk. The crowd is definitely an interesting group. I get the impression they put more stock in quantity instead of quality. Besides that, it was a great time! I’ll be back but may bring some earplugs.;)

Being in the nightclub and restaurant business for over 24 years here in Dallas, in my opinion,… this place is awesome, period.(btw– I have no financial gain by posting this, nor am I connected with the club itself) The designers«got it right», the location is great and spectacular from the inside and as you drive by from the outside as well. Great music, drinks and a very nice crowd. Something for everyone there, friendly staff and also the VIP touch comes in handy for clients or business dealings where one might need to bring a client along for a night on the town. I am impressed. The place is brand new and looks like it is a hit,… and it will be,. for quite a while in my opinion. Russ«JFK» Vandeveerdonk
