Place is good but… I wish they play different music. They play the most, hip hop music. I wish they play reggae, at least. Have something of a selection.

Overpriced… their music sucks. I was here for nye party and I am so disappointed that I did not go somewhere else. Drinks are okay. Price would not have mattered if the music was good, but its just waste of money.

Had the pleasure of being at this beautiful club for one of my 1st times in Dallas only to be treated by the staff poorly! Drinks ok. Atmosphere wonderful. Service sucks! Security attempting to clear club more like top flight security. Extra rude and picking on a group of girls from out of town as opposed to clearing the whole club.

I went to this location on a Saturday evening. When arriving which was early for that Saturday night not many people were at this location yet. So I took the opportunity to look around. I can say I really love the feel of the entire club. Very nice, clean, and upscale feel. The crowd was not a bad crowd either. I received two drink tickets for the night since I arrive so early. My tickets did not limit me on the type of alcohol I wanted which was a great thing .The pool in the back of the club was also a nice touch for a relaxed summer night. The only thing that I had an issue it was the fact that I had to pay $ 25 to get into the club. I can tell that I will be visiting this location again in the future.

Food was decent but this is the worst place if you want to spilt checks if you’re with a large party. They don’t have an ability to, and we’ve been here over 45 minutes just for the checks.

Think twice before you book an event here. I worked with Carlos last spring to plan my 20 year high school reunion at Sisu. Carlos was very nice and accommodating. We worked together to ensure it would be a fun and memorable milestone event for my class. Carlos was also very helpful in getting an eventbrite set up so my class could start buying tickets this summer for the event that is being held in September. The reason for the one star rating and why you should THINKTWICE before planning an event is because 5 weeks before the event at Sisu I received a call that they had double booked the same night with another party so we were going to need to move our reunion. This clearly left me in a bind since classmates had already purchases flights, hotel rooms etc. Sisu attempted to help find another venue but nothing was able to accommodate our need. It felt like there was no loyalty and honor in our deal. Once another event came along that offered Sisu more money and spend opportunity, our event got kicked to the curb. Please proceed with caution. It’s been a very stressful ordeal trying to re-plan my event with a timeframe of 5 weeks.

Beat spot I been to in Dallas I’ve been to in a long time. No ratchet people. All of the men were handsome and the ladies are dress to impressed. Nice lounging area also. The pool is a plus. I went on a Friday. Best night. Good parking across the street.

It’s a pretty decent atmosphere, I’m here for a fashion show that I’m in currently. The price tonight was 65 $ entry which is pretty pricey but for the area it’s in thats change. Very première location and nice people, just have to make sure that you have the wallet to handle it. The pool is awesome and the Dj is cranking some pretty good tunes. It’s a good adult place to hang out.

Favorite place to go on a Saturday night with a group of friends. I love the view of the pool area at night. And of course, this is where I meet the cute guys.

The club itself is a bit cramped on the first floor, however the addition of the balcony is a nice bonus. The backyard pool area is a sublime touch that boasts a bit of elegance and ‘summer fun’ however this isn’t enough to save Sisu from poor design and lackluster music. They tend to become overly busy to the juncture of not even wanting to deal with the madness… STOP the MADNESS!

I drove by Sisu Uptown last night and was surprised to see that it’s still open. Throughout the years since Sisu has joined Uptown, I’ve had my share of nights visiting this spot, but they were never memorable in a good way. The food has never been great, by any means, so I chose to only go for drinks. Unfortunately, the last time I was there, which was over a year ago, the crowd was very«teeny-boppish». I’m not sure if I spelled it correctly, but basically, I’m trying to say that the crowd was not classy. I’m guessing this place will be popular again once the summer nights come, due to its really nice patio. Maybe I’ll try it again in a few months.

This place is pretty cool. Primarily because of the swimming pool and cabanas in the back. There is also an outdoor bar and DJ. It all has a very cool, Las Vegas-y type of vibe. I’ve also come on Thursdays which is more of the Latin crowd. I’ve heard the Sunday pool parties are pretty legit so will have to update my review after going to one of those. I am not sure how to describe the crowd. I think that’s why I only gave 3 stars. The food was pretty good and service was also ok. But the party crowd is just kind of lacking in substance I guess you could say? I guess it also depends on the night but I want to go back to see if they have improved since it’s been a few months since I have been. Definitely worth checking out, will report back!

I was there with my Asian friends and some white guys last Friday night. They will charge $ 20 each person to walk in, If that’s the rule, it’s fine. But, the one staff said that they don’t accept for people who were sneakers. Some of my friends and me wore sneakers. So, we waited for our friends who already walked in the place. After that, the staff said I have to paid extra money for them for walked in with sneakers. But they let others races walked in with sneaker, NOTFORASIANS. That’s not fair. So, my friends and me decide to go to other place. So, they lost us, we have about 25 people.

Terrible service. Four things in the menu and it takes hours to get anything done. Waited so long for drinks then just decided to get our own. Not crowded. If you’re coming to lounge at the pool and be seen then perhaps maybe this place is worth something to you. For me, not so much. Walked out to get car from valet($ 5) and ten guys with gold chains are just standing around. Still took 8 mins for car to show up.

New Years party here was terribly organized. None of the staff seemed to know what was going on for much of the night. We didn’t get our glass of champagne till after midnight. They had 2 bathrooms for the whole place, so it was always a 30 – 40 minute line. To top it off, their bouncer Chad got overly aggressive at the end of the night and decided to choke out a friend of mine with no explanation and no warning. I asked why he did it, and rather than explain, he just choked me and dragged me out as well. I understand that dealing with drunk people can be frustrating, but he really needs to learn restraint. Other staff around him looked scared to get involved or stop him, maybe he would have attacked them as well.

I frequented SISU for their sunday pool parties this summer, and had a lot of fun. They had awesome talent booked, and that was what we went for. It is crowded, but that is normally the point of a pool party. It is hard to find seating if you don’t book a cabana, but we normally found friendly people who would share with us when we wanted to st down. Drinks are over priced, but I did have someone knock my drink over right after I purchased it, and the bartender replaced it for me free of charge, so this balances out my view of their drink pricing. We’ve also done the hookah here, but it is also quite overpriced, and they didn’t go over pricing at all when offering it, so make sure to ask! Haven’t tried the food, but definitely would be interested in going back to try it sometime. Parking is valet for $ 10 and there isnt much parking around the area, so I’d recommend doing it. Overall I do love SISU for the music they brought in this summer, and would continue to go if they had more DJs come. I’m not a huge fan of the crowd around the pool, but I’m not much of a lounge/club person so I know I may have been out of my element anyway! :)

Hmmm how to describe this place, I went here on a Sunday and for everyone it was definitely the place to be for Sunday Funday if you are into the bikinis and heels/looking to have a pool full of people who think they are better than everyone else and very drunk! It was like the beautiful people of Dallas there, and I really expect that they wouldn’t let just everyone in. Tickets are $ 18 to get in and you can print them ahead of time instead of paying when you get there. The atmosphere is a fun one, but it just wasn’t really for me. They had a Dj the day we went and the music was very loud. When it costs $ 350 for a bottle that’s a little crazy to me. The beers are like $ 5 for a can, which I guess is pretty normal for uptown. I also had a vodka redbull which was tiny and it costs $ 11. I would def pre game a lot more before going there again, but I don’t think I’ll go back. They also have a restaurant inside, and looked pretty nice but no one is really interested in eating when you are there. Worries me a little when everyone is drinking but not getting out of the pool to use the restroom! Let’s just say my pic doesn’t do this place justice for the about of ppl that go there. It became insanely packed.

NEVERAGAIN I enjoy going to a variety of places for a variety of experiences. Sisu seemed to be a place where my friends and I could go to enjoy a Sunday fun day. Our first experience at the door was with rather rude treatment. I did not associate it with the brown tone of our skin, I just figured the girls were a little stuck up. I noticed a few people sliding through the door behind us as my stunningly beautiful lady friend, brother, and I were paying $ 20 each for the pool party. Nobody said anything to them. But then when an African American guy slid in with the crew the girl screamed for security. Funny thing was, he worked there. No apologies were offered, just the rolling of eyes and a few murmured curse words. I was almost ready to leave at that point but since I had already valet parked the car, I figured one foot was already in the door. The clientele inside was cool. The staff in duty were NOT, and they were as equally rude as the front staff. As I made my way to the bar for a drink, I had eye contact with the bartender who had just finished serving another customer. He smirked and as I started my order he backed up two steps and walked way to have a casual conversation on the side of the bar. …And as I stood at the largely unpopulated bar I could get no service or attention. …Left and I’m never going back.

Whoa! Talk about where to go on Sunday for a Sunday Funday! This pool rocks. But let me say, its like the Who’s Who’s gets in. You do need like a pre-printed ticket or pay when you get there. Maybe about 20 to 25 bucks. But the DJ is really fresh and the music is off the chain. Drinks are a little pricy, but not complaining. They had several bartenders in the back, so I never really had to wait for service. The pool was clean and people where every where. So unless you have a table be prepared to stand! There is Vallet parking, so come with cash. Great People, good time and mostly everyone is in their swim gear which is what I liked most, cause I can not stand going to a pool party and no one wants to get in the pool!!!

My friend and I came here for dinner on a gorgeous Saturday night, while the sun was still out. I feel compelled to talk about the scene first. Sisu is hand-tailored for uptown — it’s trendy, party-like, bordering on(if not totally) shi-shi. There are three dining areas — a simple patio with wooden patio furniture, the indoors, and the pool area. My friend and I were seated by the pool… where I began to understand why Sisu is called a «resort.» The pool area is beautiful, there’s music(slightly too loud for my tastes) in the background, and I could have sworn I also saw palm trees. As I sat there, I wondered why Unilocal said the attire at this place was«dressy.» Everyone seemed pretty casually dressed. As the night wore on, however, the women in small dresses and platform heels began arriving. I couldn’t be sure, but there was also a young crowd that looked like they had just left a wedding party. It really started to feel like a party. I may be too old for Sisu. But moving on to the food and drinks… Sisu has a fun cocktail menu that’s great for poolside. For appetizers, we had the bruschetta and the shrimp cocktail. Both were good, but the shrimp cocktail was better. If given the choice between the regular shrimp cocktail and the cilantro-pesto-lemon seasoned shrimp cocktail, get the latter. So good! For my entrée, I ordered the Thai shrimp salad. It was more like a sweet pad thai than a salad. Good, but not great. My friend ordered the salmon caesar salad, which I’m going to have to order next time. Not a cold salad, but a warm hearty salad with fish, fresh romaine, and delicious dressing. An amazing salad. Finally, for dessert, I had the Better than Tollhouse Chocolate Chip Cookie — a thick, large chocolate chip cookie topped with cinnamon/vanilla ice cream, and lightly garnished with fudge and raspberries. It was good, but the cookie really should have been warmer and softer. You’re given a spoon with which to eat the cookie, but have you ever tried eating a hard cookie with a spoon? In the process of attacking the cookie with my spoon, I ended up flinging a piece of it into the air and onto the ground. In sum, Sisu is great if you want a bit of a scene, want something outdoors, and embrace the shi-shi of Big D. If you’re looking for a nice, quiet dinner with a crowd whose average age is over 25, go somewhere else.
