This place was really disappointing. The menu lacked detail, the wings were undercooked(blech) and all of the sauced tasted overly sweet. Nice people, but the food was… gross.

Blake is an awesome bartender. Drinks are great and service is impeccable. Haven’t tried food yet– but will definitely be back.

This place isn’t as cozy as Meridian Room used to be, but it’s shinier and I think it has more seating. The bartenders working the night we were there were super friendly. Would venture back for them. The pours on well drinks was good too! I tried their chicken fried steak and thought it was okay. The onion rings were delicious. Would definitely order those again! It’s nice to see some new places in the Expo area. Welcome to the ‘hood.

High excitement happening in Exposition Park recently, and Expo Park is much to blame. I made two visits during its first two months of opening, and both times I was greeted with awesome food and excited staff. Aubrey and Blake behind the bar are committed to serving quality bar food and diverse drinks at an affordable price. On my first visit, my husband and I even got to try some cheese curds they were considering adding to the menu – honest feedback was given: add it! I love the diversity of this place. From a music/dance venue to a sports bar, it’s a solid bar that will fit my friends’ varied tastes. They recently started doing live music(and brunch and karaōke!), so I’m excited about their line-up for December. I see great things in your future, Expo Bar! PSA for all my hip-hop lovers: Remember Slip Inn and its resident DJ? Well, Rob Viktum is here now and won’t disappoint.

We stopped in here on the last night of the fair. It was very nostalgic for my friend and I, as the whole Exposition Park area were among our old stomping grounds. In years gone by we did laundry at Bar of Soap, we ate and the fabulous little tapas restaurant that graced the block before tapas was even a thing. What was the name of the cool store on the corner? Its on the tip of my tongue. Anyhow, it was great to see a cool bar go in here. I would love to see it become the next«it» neighborhood, it feels like it has been on the brink for 25 years. It just needs the right mix of businesses, and Expo Bar is a great start. The only food we tried was the loaded cheese fries, and they were just okay, but I some of the other menu items intrigue me. The bartender was great, the fellow patrons were nice and neighborly. The place was chill on Sunday night, but I can imagine it really hopping on a Saturday. Either way, it is a very comfortable place to drink and socialize. I will be back.

I saw this place pop up after seeing ads from the state fair. All I did was ask for my favorite whiskey and a week later, they had Woodford Reserve. They are really following through with bringing the«home» vibe of Deep Ellum back. Drag your friends here. It’s in exposition park. Their menu is awesome.

Fine dive-ing at its best. This place is part hole-in-the wall part neighborhood restaurant. The bartenders are accommodating and the food is the best of the best bar food you’ll ever taste. Fish n chips, chicken fried steak, wings… Good stuff. Plus if you wanna watch the game they’ve got a jerry jones-esque projection had screen that’ll knock your socks off.

This place is amazing! The projection system is worth just going there and the food is excellent! The drinks are really good and priced right where you can appreciate them. Ask for Dena. She’s a sweetheart and a he’ll of a bartender.(i think she got her training at The Loon!!) Anyway check this place out and let me know if you disagree

Coolest bar across the street from the Fair. Thursday and Saturday night karaōke. Hit Jake up for all your good times here.
