Remember those days when pollo regio was an excellent choice no just in lunch breaks but also on the weekends? Well not any more! Food was awful I had the half chickens and it had that weird taste of yesterday chicken made on a hurry unevenly microwaved Tortilla where cold beans NOT well cooked It’s like if this guy aren’t even trying anymore they don’t care about the quality of the food At the salsa bar just one of the green salsa was good purple onion was unbeatable disgusting. Do your self a favor and don’t stop by this place is just not what it used to be.

Chicken tasted old… Really dry. Their tacos tasted like liver instead of steak… Service was ok. The tables felt sticky. Restrooms smelled of urine and dirty.

The neighborhood crossed the street was packed of people because cars show. The place was empty. Most of customers bought the foods through drive-thru. I ordered no.3 chicken soup and it served fast, hot, and tasted awesome! The location was closed with marshalls clothing store.

I’ve been a regular at Regios for awhile and never given a review till now. If you like Mexican-Spiced Chicken cooked over a grill you’ll like El Pollo Regios. This chain is consistent no matter the location. Robust flavors and juicy chicken. You might run across some that are dry but that seldom happens. It’s been a great place for me during lunch and I’ve never been disappointed. Their green avocado sauce is the best chicken dipping, rice mixing, chip salsa that exists. They even bottled this up to sell. If you’re not into that then there are your traditional salsas. I noticed that each franchise may have more or less selections. If you’re not into chicken then check out their tacos. The Carne Asada tacos and Barbacoa tacos are addicting. You’ll find yourself making hard decisions when you come back, chicken or tacos.

I hadn’t eaten anything all day, ordered street tacos at this terrible place and have been throwing up ever since. The corn tortillas were caked in grease, the meat was swimming in it, onions were far from fresh and the cilantro was wet and slimy,(also far from fresh). The limes had been cut days before, wrapped in foil, dried out and turned yellowish brown and the green sauce had separated into what looked like a cream and water layer. I still keep asking myself why I ever ate it and didn’t just drive back there and get a refund of my money. When I called to let them know I was told everything was«just fine» then hung up on. I would NEVER return and will make sure no one I know ever darkens the door of this terrible place!

Consistently the worst beans of all the pollo regios. Inside of store sometimes dirty. Other locations so much better

Went there for lunch today and ordered at the drive thru. The lady at the drive thru gave me a hard time about extra salsa. You can get as many as you want if I came in but only one if you order thru the drive thru… What? Then I get back to work and open my container and there were the two most sad pieces of chicken you will ever see. Little, dry, old and no skin. So I only had a few bites of beans n rice and I’ll be going back for a refund and never eating there again.

Pollo Regio has, in my opinion, the BEST creamy avocado sauce I’ve ever had. Even though the«Green Sauce»(how I call it) is spicy, it’s still delicious. I always get half a chicken with the tortillas, rice, and beans. But for me what brings it all together is the Green Sauce. I highly recommend this place!

Great food but English not so good. They charge you for lettuce on the side… Come on man really!!! Not only that bit the specials are not the same discounted good deals as the one on Belt line! I would go a few more miles to Beltline

Don’t miss this place in North Dallas — best«taco shop» around. Fresh salsas, clean, and great food.
Once I was in East Dallas at El Pollo Regio. Matt Damon was in the back, sweeping up. He had a little chalkboard and had written this equation. I snapped a picture and forwarded it to instahipbook with a sepia tone on it. Not long ago, this new Pollo Regio opened up in my neighborhood, and I had a chance to remember that faded picture. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A Multi Dimensional Analysis of Pollo Regio, By Matt Damon: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1st Dimension: R R is a point in space. There is only Pollo Regio, and there is nothing else. 2nd Dimension:(Me, R) (Me, R) represents a line leading from me to the nearest El Pollo Regio. 3rd Dimension:(R, Me, R) (R, Me, R) represents my point in space at a moment in time after I ate at Pollo Regio and before I eat again… at Pollo Regio. 4th Dimenion: {Delta(R, Me, R)} In the 4th Dimension, time exists all at once. All of my existence, from birth to death, including all of the times I have been and will be at Pollo Regio is visible to someone in the 4th Dimension. Matt Damon had scribbled another line of numbers about the quantum probabilities of which chickens you’d end up eating, but it was smudged. I never saw him again.
