Go to find out the restaurant is under new ownership. I have visited this place before and food was horrible, and swore not to come back. But one of my co workers said I should give them a try again. So I did! I’m glad I did the food was great. You really can see that they put the time in making to food right. Keep up the food!

I was really surprised… Dickey’s really stepped it up when it comes to BBQ. This is the only place in the Dallas metroplex where you can see the smoke ring on the meat… Kudos to Dickey’s.

Disappointed. To start with they were out of the original bbq sauce. The ice was empty so I had to wait for them to refill the ice. The sweet tea was awful, I could not drink it. The roll was hard as a brick. The bbq was okay.

Great food as always. I have never been disappointed here plus they have free ice cream. The only issue I have with this location is they close really early. Make sure you get here by 5:00pm because they close at 6:00pm.

I went to this location for the first time and it was ok. I understand you need to measure the meat but the«carver» was very«stingy» in providing the portions. When the manager stepped in, he was more generous with the sides but the main focus is the meat. I guess you expect average food and average service when you go to a chain but I always want… and expect more. This visit was average and NOTHING stood out as exceptional and above average. Where has customer service gone???

Decent BBQ at reasonable prices. I come here for the half chicken plate some weeks during lunch.

Visiting Dallas for work I got takeout from Dickey’s and the pulled pork was pretty poor. Basically tasteless pit roasted pulled pork on a bun with average sauce. The slaw was your standard grocery deli counter variety and while the fried okra were not slimy or burnt, the breading wasn’t enough to save an otherwise underwhelming dinner. Ultimately it was not only nothing to write home about, but it was disappointing enough to write a quick note to Unilocal. I live in Boston. We’ve got que up there, but we aren’t known for it. I got psyched up to have some tonight and instead was pretty let down. If you’re looking for some tasty barbecue in Dallas I advise you to look elsewhere.
