had a great experience — food was amazing — server was great — gave some awesome recommendations — and drinks were so good. Can’t wait to head back.

Worst bartenders for service and personality I have seen in years. I left prior to ordering food. Had one glass of wine Took forever to get attention for a vino. No smiles on bartenders. Place is run poorly. A slap on the double eagle name. The grill is not up to a one star joint.

This place has been one of my staple restaurants for years. Always good and consistent food. Recently I have noticed a downhill trend over my last two visits. Less busy and decreased food quality. Time before last we were rushed through our meal and out in 40 minutes or less. This time began the same but we decided we would pace them ourselves by making the waiter wait for our orders. We sat for awhile and ordered cocktails. Next up an app. The app came before the drinks which we thought we had personally spaced out with plenty of time to spare. With a restaurant less an busy(on a Friday night) we thought it would be no problem to sequence appropriately. Food was consistently good but portion sizes have depleted. I was left hungry after my app and steak salad. Overall still a good place to go but not the best nor worth the money. Sorry to say I’ll be on the lookout for my new staple steakhouse.

Excellent service and our waiter was really accommodating her name was Devon. Our family was well taken care of and the timeliness of the food was excellent. Definitely will be back!

food was great, service wasn’t what i expected. I got the veggie burger and the soy glaze was really good! my gf got the red velvet waffles. They really were just chocolate brown waffles. no red at all except for the bacon and a DRIZZLE of cream cheese for plating, not much. BUT they were still good. and my side salad was bland. Server wasn’t really freindly.

We had a reservation for four and the place was not extremely busy. The other couple with us were elderly. The unfriendly, drone-like hostess insisted on taking all the way through the entire ground floor and up the long flight of stairs to a basically empty dining area. She never took into consideration the age of our friends. Service was so so. Food is basically glorified junk food. Wine list is overpriced(big surprise) and boring. Worst of all was that our leftover food went in horribly cheap boxes. The box ended leaking in my refrigerator at which time I threw the slop in the trash. No thanks. Oh yeah, we also watched the waitstaff competing to see who could kill a roach.

Red velvet waffles are delicious but the server gave me orange teriyaki sauce instead of actual syrup. I poured the sauce all over my waffles and it ruined the waffles. The server made it up by giving me a new plate. The service is good the atmosphere is good. They do allow for reservation so there is no waiting.

I must say I was a little bit disappointed coming here and yet pleasantly surprised. A friend of mine strongly recommended that I come here. He and I have a bit of a small rivalry as to whether or not we can recommend great restaurants to one another throughout our world travels. That is what led me to Del Frisco’s in Dallas. However, the particular dish that he recommended they no longer carry. He recommended the 3 Filet Medallions that are prepared & seasoned differently. I began with their Jumbo Lump Crab Cake $ 16 in a Cajun Lobster Sauce which was great. I then ordered their 12oz Filet Mignon $ 45 which was good. However, I did expect greatness and their Filet unfortunately did fall a little short. Don’t get me wrong it was good, just not great from my personal experience and in my opinion. I ordered a side of their Truffled Mac & Cheese which was very good but quite filling. I then finished off with their Coconut Cream Pie $ 8 – 11. I don’t recall exactly. It was absolutely fantastic. I didn’t expect it to be that great. It is even greater than it looks and it looks great. It is matched in quality as it is presented in its quantity. Overall good experience and pleasant ambience. I would like to give them another chance if and when they have the original dish that got my attention.

This is by bar my best place for brunch. I always seem to order the chicken and waffles(make sure to sub for the red velvet waffles) and I’m never disappointed. They have complimentary valet and if you get there around 11:30 or 12 on Sunday generally it’s not that busy yet but I would aim for closer to 11:30. The staff here is amazing and are always friendly whether your at table or the bar. If you don’t want to breakfast their burgers are really good as well. I mean everything I’ve ever had here was good. I really love this place but I am sure from this review you already know that :)

I must start with, I am a big fan of this place! Top 3 Reasons why I liked them so much: 1. Very flexible when it comes to big parties 2. Service was top notch 3. Food was really good SERVICE We came here for brunch and we were a party of 9. We made a reservation the same day for noon. They were able to accommodate us with no problem. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and the food. She was also firm when it came to recommendations, and went around the table asking if everyone was satisfied. She met every criteria that I look for in a waiter/waitress. Can recommend if you ask, is honest about what she likes/dislikes from the menu, pays equal attention to everyone in the table, and will try to accommodate any requests. FOOD The food came out quickly and was excellent! I got the Chicken and Waffles(Red Velvet Waffles). As a place that is right across the street from Bread Winners(BW), I must admit that BW’s chicken and waffles is better, BUT this place beats BW in every other sense of the way. No waiting time, and far better service. Just for that I would rather come back here. PARKING It is hard to find parking. If you come here, I’d recommend parking at the Walgreens down the street and then walking to the restaurant. DRESSCODE It is a fancier place than your typical brunch. I’d say dress Business Casual for this restaurant.

I went to brunch with two of my girls today and after much back and forth conversation, we decided on Del Friscos. We had been before, they had outdoor seating and carafe specials. Two of us arrived first and it took a while for the waitress to greet us. We ended up speaking to a manager and he made sure to check in and take care of us the rest of the time we were there. My friends both ordered the red velvet waffle(one the chicken and waffles — sub the red velvet). I had a taste and it was pretty tasty. I went for more of the lunch option and had the chicken avocado wrap. It was very good. Their fries are delicious and I’m a fry lover for sure. We also had two carafes of screwdriver which were $ 18 each. All is all a pretty good time for Sunday Funday today!

*FOODPOISONING* Had lunch here the service was really good and the food tasted good, but I got food poisoning. I ordered the salmon dish so someone handling the salmon must have touched uncooked chicken or somehow the salmon got in contact with salmonella. Accidents happen but still thought the restaurant and others who go here should be aware! Update– restaurant never got in touch with me to apologize.

We came here for brunch(party of 3). The brunch menu is uninspired but the food tasted great and was priced well. The service, however, was abysmal. And the place wasn’t only a quarter full with no big parties, in fact, we were one of only 4 tables there. Our server was just terrible, would not bring our waters, even after requesting it twice. I finally got a glass when we got the check. I got bourbon chicken and waffles that comes with some flavored maple syrup, per the menu. He did not bring out any syrup with the meal, so I requested it. Then he brought out plain cold syrup and got upset with me when I requested the syrup that was written in the menu description. My husband got coffee, but had such a hard time getting another cup, he pretty much gave up. And what is going on with the gnats flying around?! Just nothing there to return to.

Had my NYE dinner here with friends to end 2015. We had a lovely dinner here before heading to a bar after. We shared chicken wings between the three of us and it was plenty. We also shared the lobster mac and cheese. I had the short rib stroganoff as my entrée and finished every bite! Out of everything I had, I would rate my short ribs stroganoff the best and then lobster mac and cheese, then chicken wings. They were all pretty delicious and service was on point!

OMGPHLLYCHEESESTEAKROLLS!!! The Grille: not the steak house, but that’s ok. This place is swanky, sexy, dim, and YUM! If you only come here for drinks and apps, it’s going to be a really good decision. I really enjoy the cheese steak egg rolls, the deviled eggs, and the steak salad. There is also steak too, which is amazing. I love this place so much, I wish I could go more often.

We came here on a Friday evening last weekend. Because we arrived after 9pm, we were able to walk in without a reservation. We ordered drinks, entrees and desserts and had a great time. One of my favorite cocktails is the VIP Martini, which you can’t really get anywhere else. It is delicious and I order it every time I visit Del Frisco’s. Our entire table of three ordered steaks. My mother-in-law ordered the house special(6oz filet, mashed potatoes and broccolini). When it came to our table it was medium-well and she ordered it medium-rare. Our server and the manager went above and beyond to mend the mistake. My hubby and my steaks were cooked perfectly. I ordered the truffled mac & cheese and he had a side of fries. Both were great and fresh. For dessert we each got our own — we are too greedy to share ;) My mother-in-law got the lemon cake. ITWASHUGE and we ate off it for literally three days. I ordered the nutella bread pudding which you can’t help but finish. And the hubby got the adult milkshake. Del Frisco’s is a little too pricey to be called a Grill. But, I guess when you add the ‘e’ to the end of ‘Grille’ you can affored to charge more. Because of the price, we won’t be frequent flyers, but definitely will return for special occasions. P. S. $ 5 valet charge.

How much changes in 2 years… and how much doesn’t. My bad for coming on a holiday right? Not the A team… not the B team… but the C or D team? I’d love to give you that excuse. I would love to… but I can’t and I won’t. The faces change and so did the menu… but the lousy ass cooks in the kitchen didn’t. My bartender did her best… but no matter how good her drinks are your food still stinks. She was already having a bad day from the random strays on labor day… did your kitchen have to make it worse?

Stopped here for lunch to kickoff the restaurant week gluttony. Place was about brimming with people in chic business casual outfits. Valet parking at restaurant but there are garages nearby. Food: Very salty. Was very excited to order cheesesteak eggrolls & short-rib stroganoff. Cheesesteak eggrolls were so salty that I could barely get through them. Was hungry though, so polished them off with 3 glasses of water. Short-rib was tender/tasty and the mushroom sauce with rich/flavorful(albeit salty again). I didn’t care for the pappardelle pasta. Tried fixing it with extra mushroom sauce, but couldn’t get over the texture. Service: 5-stars. Server was super friendly and efficient. Got many water refills and was in & out within 40 minutes, which much appreciated for a business lunch. Was provided food recommendations, profuse apologies for saltiness, and offered extra mushroom sauce to try to fix the noodles. Effort is much appreciated. Bottom Line: 3-star food + 5-star service + 3-star value(regular price) = 3-star rating. On the fence about this place because service was so good but food was a bit disappointing.

I’ve been to Del Frisco’s Grille on different occasions, however, on Mother’s Day it was just odd. We made reservations so we didn’t have to wait with the crowds. Everything was fine until we met our server. He was extremely odd and a little condescending at times. Honestly, I wanted to change tables but the place was packed. Out food was it or miss at the table. I had the Chicken and Red Velvet Waffles. I asked if I was receiving a chicken breast which the server replied yes. But instead I received chicken strips. I did enjoy the meal overall and was pleased. My mom had the Chicken Schnitzel. She felt that the pasta lacked flavor. The best thing was the bread pudding made with Nutella and chocolate. Yummy! I haven’t completely given up Del Frisco’s Grille. I will go back and hopefully have a better review.

Oh my gosh, YUM!!! Went there for brunch for the first time on Sunday and thought it was absolutely fantastic! We went a bit late(around 2ish), so we didn’t see the whole loud/packed/super busy thing — and we were a group of 10. The service was great and our food came out perfectly. I had the eggs benedict and they were to die for! We will definitely be back!
