Burger House is a great place for a good old fashion hamburger and fries. I have been going to Burger House for 5 years and the burgers are always cooked to order fresh hot with great flavor. They are thin 1⁄3 pound meat like Whataburger but with their own flair. Then there is the French fries they are seasoned with a cumin, salt, and other spices which give them a smelly odor sort of B.O.like. I know that sounds bad but they do smell. But the taste is great and everybody that eats them says so. Burger house also has a wonderful grill chicken sandwich that has always been good. I get the grill chicken sandwich the most. The onion rings are good. They do charge more for the rings. The menu also has a lot more items so there is plenty to choose from. This location is in the food court at UT Southwestern Medical School so it is not easy to get to. But they do have other locations in Dallas you need to try the French fries.

I had the chicken sandwich. Wasn’t bad but couldn’t tell what I was eating. The fries must be famous for how bad they are as mine where barely blanched not fried. I think I will stick to the chipotle knock off here or children’s cafeteria.

the burgers are terrible and the fries are forgettable. and it’s too expensive for the slop you are receiving.

Had the burger again and it’ll be the last time I do. I’ll only be eating their chicken sandwich from now on. The burger wasn’t anything especial, again.

I really like Burger House. No, it’s not because it’s the only decent place in the UTSW food court, but this place serves up some tasty burgers. I feel a little awkward giving a fast food place 4 stars, but I’ll justify it by the variety of their menu and the tastiness of everything on it. I’ve tried everything from the burgers, to the [grilled] chicken sandwich, to the grilled chicken salad, to the chicken tenders. All are great. Forget about Lay’s potato chips, «Jack’s famous» french fries, with their seasoned salt are the real potatoes of which I can’t eat just one. Also, it has a «family operation» feel. Unlike the other food vendors in the food court, Burger House has had the same [competent] people working there for as long as I can remember. Everything is always cooked perfectly, quickly, and correctly. Thank you Burger House for providing a good, no great, alternative to Taco Bell, Subway, and the rest of the crappy eateries in the UTSW food court for the past year.
