Bazille

Food and service was delicious! Started off with the tomato basil soup of the day with the toasted cheesy bread, so great! Then had the hummus, which was also pretty tasty. Finally, had the smaller version of the cilantro lime shrimp salad, OMG. I wish I could take it to go but no way I could walk around the mall with it.
This place is pretty nice, the prices are not bad at all
Our server was Clinton, great guy and great service. Also, Jordan, one of the cooks came by to check on us and I also complimented the food to him as it was amazing. Great service and great food!

I had to come back and give this place 5 stars, just for the food alone. Everything we order comes out great!

I love this restaurant. Food is delicious and so fresh. Have yet to find something I don’t like here. The cilantro lime shrimp salad is the bomb!

Located on the top floor of Nordstrom at Northpark Center, this is a great place to dine before or after shopping. There is not much to speak of regarding the décor, but it is clean and simple. Their name changed from Bistro N, but the food tastes the same. I have been here many times, and I always end up ordering the same entrée: the Crab Stack. It has a good amount of lump crabmeat with avocados, mangoes, and cucumbers. It is so light and refreshing, I love it! On my most recent visit, I also got to try their Fresh Berry & Fig Salad with Goat Cheese. That was amazing as well and I appreciated that they were not skimpy on their ingredients. Prices are a bit steep for the portions, but the quality of food makes up for it. Service has always been pleasant.

When dining at Bazille, you must order their famous French Onion Soup! It is the best in Dallas! All of their other food is pretty great as well but their French Onion Soup is top notch!

Bazille is an upscale restaurant tucked away on the top floor of Nordstrom. The atmosphere is very nice and elegant. The food was tasty and came out in a timely manner. It was the service that was lacking. The waiters were brusque, bordering on rude. My girlfriend had a salad and when she asked for some more dressing she got an annoyed eye-​roll and curt «ok.»
Two women seated next to us were served their food and it was immediately apparent that they needed something else. After about 8 – 10 minutes of trying to flag down a waiter, they finally snagged one. The look of exasperation and irritation on his face shocked me. I understand being busy but it seemed as if the staff was actively avoiding these ladies and then to almost physically recoil at (I assume) a simple request was excessive.
Maybe it was just an off day or indicative of a larger problem, but for a store that prides itself on customer service this was simply unacceptable. Three stars is actually a bit much, if I could two and a half would be more appropriate.

I haven’t completely come to a final decision on this place. Some of the dishes are «very delicious,» while others are «okay.» It has been hit and miss, as I have branched out and tried new menu items. While the great dishes are worth the money, other times I am left feeling I should have my ticket discounted because I am not receiving what I paid for. If you are in the mall, and don’t mind spending a little extra money, then check it out. I’d recommend staying away from the bruschetta; however, the soups can be a much better starter!

My daughter took me here about two months ago I forgot to write a review but the sandwich I had was so darn good I still have it on my mind till this day! We had the Prime Rib French Dip Sandwich my daughter had them cut it in half its like 16.00 something for the sandwich it came with the Bristo French Fries and the Aioli sauce and a side of Aujus sauce this was nothing but pure perfection all the way through yummy yummy goodness the meat was this smoky flavored goodness and tender so tender! We must go back but this time we are getting a whole sandwich a piece to ourselves. I don’t remember the drinks much I think we had just like Ice Tea or something the waitress was super nice and very accommodating it was also nice of her to cut our sandwich and serve it on separate plate and she made sure each plate had fries on it and only charged us for one plate my daughter didn’t get her name but she rocked! I recommend this place and we will be going back!

I usually get the steak with frites and the olive sauce. It’s delicious and the steak is cooked to perfection.

I love this place! It has a nice vibe, good food and excellent service. Today I had the crab stack — what a wonderful fusion of flavors (crab, avocado, tomatoes, cucumbers, and mango), and toast points. I also had the French onion soup — a little on the salty side for me, but still delicious. I washed it all down with ginger peach tea. Yes, I’m full and happy. Of course, no room for
dessert. That’s okay — I’ll get some next time. Bön appetit!

There is nothing Nordstroms sells that I don’t like and that’s including their food. What used to be called the Bistro is now called Bazille. Our server informed us that they changed it to Bazille to incorporate a wider variety of menu options? Potatoe, potato, tomatoe, tomato.
After not visiting since formally being the Bistro I was curious if the menu had changed. Not the case. They still serve my favorite herb, skinny, fresh french fries with olive aioli. The salads are generously proportioned, the honey chipotle chicken sandwich is my fave but since they decided to slide the calorie content next to everything, I swayed towards a salad this time. BUT the salad was fresh, full of soft pears, candied pecans and dried cranberries. I also tried a bite of my friends cilantro lime shrimp salad and really missed out not ordering that instead.
The service remains to serve at a Nordstrom caliber. Prices are reasonable and range anywhere from $ 4 for a cup of soup to $ 30 if you venture into the speciality items. It’s lovely, the food is exceptional, and I can dine confidently knowing I will never be displeased. I’m puzzled as to why they don’t have these in all Nordstrom stores?

This place is loud and needs something to soak in the noise. The food, however, is always on point. The special they have right now of the salmon salad with mushrooms and a champagne vinaigrette is the bomb!

Bazille is another place I had bookmarked. So it was time to check it out.
Bazille is located on the 3^rd floor of Nordstrom. Food is fantasitc, for this they deserice 5 stars.
What did it for me was the service… well, the lack of. 1:30pm we got sat…1:43pm the server finally came over (no need to give out his name.) I am not sure if he was about to go home or just having a bad day or both… but we got to feel the effects of it.
There was no introduction, no suggestions, no recommendation, or the question of «have you ever been in before» I felt I was taking up this guys time. With this being my first time in, this place did not appear to be a kind of place that delivered rude service. At any rate, we finally ordered…2:40pm we received our food. I had seen the server walk back and forth a few times… he never checked on us, and it was clear, we were is only table. As I was watching him, I noticed he was eating off plates on a table close to the kitchen… I get it, he might have been on break… it just appear to me and my guest that he was eating left overs from an un bussed table… surely not!
So back to the 2:40pm…we got our food, after we track down another server and ask her to bring it to us. We ate, finished conversation, paid the manager and never saw the mysterious server ever again. I will give this place another shot… if I see this guys again, I will ask to move to someone else section.

I loved everything. The Crab Bisque the Salmon w/​HerbRisotto and the Crab Mac & Cheese. I can’t believe I’ve never tried this place before. The service was top notch and the interior is nice. I can’t wait to try other things on the menu.

This was my first time trying this place out. I would say the environment is very chill and relaxed. My bf and I were sat down very quickly! Our waitress was amazing! Super attentive and very kind! We ordered fries as an appetizer and my bf had a pizza which is made in a fire over! Definitely coming back for more pizza! And I had the chicken with angel hair pasta very delicious I must say! Over all I had a great experience and I love the idea of it being inside of Nordstrom! High five guys!

What I appreciate here more so than the food (which is pretty good, but nothing extraordinary) is that, like the Nordstrom store itself, they take care of the customer. Let me explain: I came here on a slow Sunday evening, but we had to wait to get our order a little longer than I would have expected. And on top of that, when our food came, it turned out that the chef had prepared the wrong order for my mom! So she had to wait an extra 15 minutes while they prepared the correct dish. I was actually pretty upset. However, when the check came, the waiter (who I believe was dealing with his own issues since he was also working at the bar) had removed my mom’s dish from the check because of their mistake. I appreciated how he recognized their mistake without us having to point it out or complain. (I don’t normally complain at restaurants because I don’t think it’s worth it, but if service/​something is bad, I’ll make a mental note to just not come back in the future.)
The menu itself isn’t huge, but I thinK they have a great selection. They have great «fancy» salads and classic dishes with a little twist (like on their special/​seasonal menu, lobster mac and cheese, BBQ chicken pizza, etc.) They prices are a little high, but the atmosphere is nice, and you can expect the same Nordstrom-​quality customer service, which is why we will come back in the future.

You know, this place is fine, but I have two complaints:
1. CALORIE COUNTS on every single menu item?!? WTF! Thanks for robbing me of my blissful ignorance. I had to order the special because the waiter didn’t tell me how many pounds it would add to my thighs, thank goodness. That eggs benedict served on crab cakes was pretty awesome, though. Three stars for that dish alone.
2. It’s surprisingly noisy for the type of restaurant it is (aka not a bar). During peak eating hours, it can be hard to hear people, especially if you’re with a large-​ish group.

I’ve always heard great things about bistro N (but also forget it’s hidden on the 3F)! Finally had the chance to try it on a Saturday night. This place is perfect after shopping! They have a range of food from salads to pizzas to sandwiches and seafood.
I tried their salmon and it was delicious! Lobster mac and cheese is another winner! I heard their brunch is great, so I’ll definitely be back for that!
We had a large party, and they were more than accommodating. Hostess and wait staff were attentive and friendly. They didn’t make us feel bad for being a big group! Bonus brownie points for that!

Best Mac and cheese I’ve ever gotten, just disappointed of how small it was. Drinks and appetizers were good but not amazing for the price point. It’s a great place to stop for a bite while shopping though.

DELICIOUS! Who would have thought that a restaurant at Nordstrom would be this fabulous? I’ve dined here a few times (lunch and dinner) and I have enjoyed every meal. My favorite has got to be the fries with the kalamata olive aioli dipping sauce. OMG to die for — even for someone like me who doesn’t fancy olives. I usually ask for two of those sauces because it’s that good.. and my friend, Melody L. likes to steal my fries sometimes.
I’ve seen many come for just a drink/​dessert. It’s a great place to unwind after a long day of shopping. They have a really nice bar with live music on the weekends. When they open the blinds for dinner, you can see a bit of the city lights. Kind of pretty, even though the Macys sign is the brightest light you see.
I’ve had the honey chipotle chicken, asian chicken salad, veggie & 3 cheese pizza, and a couple other dishes. Honestly, they’re all great. And I recently discovered their delicious bread pudding with white chocolate and raspberry drizzle… soooo yummy! I’ve never had their breakfast, so that will be my next meal there. this weekend!
