Loved 504 Grill. This is a nice neighborhood sports bar that happens to serve some great creole inspired dishes. The owners also run Dodie’s. Service is A++ Bartenders and servers make you feel welcome and know the menu. I had the crawfish queso which was a special of the day(a little too salty, but still good), the chicken wings(great) and the mac and cheese(off the chain delicious). They have a TV within view no matter where you sit so it was college football paradise for me. Wish it was closer to my house!

Chill place to kick back with a few friends… good selection of tap beer and the staff is great. Almost forgot the parking is convenient considering the area. The menu is OK and so are the prices. If your looking for a place to kick back have a beer and watch sports with friends this is a good choice.

Recently moved down to dallas and this is quickly becoming the hang out spot. Food is always good, the staff always has the perfect beer recommendation and they have the perfect sized tvs for the game. Anyone looking for a chill place to spend some time and have a good conversation needs to consider this place.

Came here because they are actually one of the few bars in DFW that show Saints games. They have $ 3 mimosas on Sunday and I ordered the Creole Omelette. It was excellent, the omelette was excellently seasoned and I am not a fan breakfast potatoes but these were crispy and also seasoned well. Only thing is that the staff all had on Cowboys gear in a place called 504 bar but I guess I can forgive that lol #WhoDat

A couple of things I can say that I loved about this place: the people, meaning the patrons, the bartenders Mallory & Robin, and the location and atmosphere. Usually, when you sit at a bar, which is where we seated ourselves, you’re bound to meet and mingle with some interesting characters. My interaction happened to be with a Saints fan. I’m a Cowboys fan. Go figure. But overall, everyone was really nice, the bartenders took care of us, welcoming to all customers, new and old. I love the set up of this place. It’s so open literally. There’s no front window, so you just walk into the restaurant or walk up to the patio and relax. Street noise, people walking, enjoying the beautiful weather. By the way, kudos for the $ 15 mimosa pitchers. On POINT! I was very excited about the food here, the pictures that I saw on Unilocal, they really hyped me up. Unfortunately, I was let down. Not all the way, but halfway. I went with the Creole Omelette. It was that of the Heffer & Hen. I will say, the omelette was cooked perfectly. Fluffy, soft and huge. I was saddened though as I gut further into it. Nothing but sautéed veggie filler. Honestly, I think the only meat I tasted was little bits of the smoked applewood bacon. No andouille sausage. So sad. Now luckily, my side of their cheddar cheese grits saved the day. Seriously good grits. I didn’t have to add any-thing. No salt or pepper. Lots of cheese and lots of butter. Thick, huge helping! I’d come back just for those!

504 Grill. Being from NOLA and craving their food constantly is the reason I give this downright«cool» restaurant and bar 5 stars, big easily. You will feel like you’ve known the bartenders your entire life. It has a comfy, down south feel making you want to stay for hours. The live music transports you to the decade each individual singer is playing for the night. From prince to elivis, I’m ready to sing, dance, mingle and most importantly EAT. Saving the best for last, the food, oh my oh my make a southern woman cry. THEFOOD. Fresh and unique oyster creations-check. Savory fish over a delicious blend of beautiful secrets-yes. Po-boys, andouille sausage and the best crawfish mac N cheese a gal could dream of. The apps alone will make you tingle all over. Soups, sandwiches and their better than sex seafood will make you come crawling back. I know I sure did. Multiple times.

— Good selection of beer on tap(but who doesn’t these days?) — Easy to find parking given the area — Cool atmosphere, many TVs to catch all the college ball games. — Great service, server was attentive and nice enough to accommodate for games we wanted to watch.

My wife and I eat around this area at least three times a week. I am disappointed it took us so long to try this place. The food is outstanding! The service is even better, which is really saying something. If you come here and Drew is working you need to ask for his section. He knows the menu inside and out and is one of the best servers I have encountered. He is going to be a great asset to some company one day. Ask for the Crawfish Queso, too! We will be back here many many times.

Last week we got 5 star quality food and service, so we returned for the grilled veggies and crawfish cheese dip only to be totally disappointed. If you’re sitting at the bar you’ll most likely get better service. Food didn’t wow this time. Maybe veggies are out of season. Cheese dip and chips are great. Service is hit or miss.

Good double patty burger and rings, good toppings, crisp bun. Ask for Robin, she remembered my name:). Easy access to parking and the rest of lower Greenville.

WOW! What a great little place to go and kick your feet up and watch some sports! This awesome little joint is set up like an outside bar with tons of BIG Screen TV’s! Also if you love moonshine, come here as they have a few on the menu! Plenty of beers on tap! Also they have a back room where you can reserve and have a little sports party in the back!

This place has the best mac and cheese that I’ve ever had. The absolute BEST! 504 has such a chill and laid back vibe. There are plenty of TVs and the staff are incredibly accommodating. My friend really wanted to watch the MSU and Oregon game and out waiter let us know that they could swivel their TVs around to our table so that we could see the game. Our waiter was as sweet as pie. I forgot his name but he was the type of person that makes you want to be friends with him. He was very knowledgeable about all the beers on tap and the food they have had, including food that wasn’t on the menu. He recommended some crawfish quesadillas to my friend that the chef was making for the first time. Despite being guinea pigs, we decided to just go for it and the risk paid out — the quesadillas were delicious. I love this place. The beer variety is awesome and they even have a few beers from Four Corners. This is also one of the few places on Greenville with parking that won’t make you want to pull your hair out. Do yourself a favor and stop by 504, grab a beer and get some mac and cheese. Thank me later.

I have been going to this«sports bar» for about 4 months now && the quality of food has always been exceptional and much more than you will ever get from a sports bar. The setup is awesome here as well. However, I am guessing management has slightly changed because generally in the past there was a male manager/bar manager and when I was in the other day he was not there. I wish I could remember his name, but he really made the atmosphere what it usually is. Exceptional customer service/people skills and he seemed to be a perfectionist. He truly loved his job and cared about customers and always made a point to talk to everyone. The manager that was there at my most recent visit was nice and attentive for the most part, but definitely didn’t make the atmosphere what it usually is. Still love the place and the food. Wings are the best I have found in DFW hands down. They also use the tabbedout app which allows you to tab out on your smart phone.

Wonderful drinks and dinner in a sports bar? Yes and it was amazing! The manager spent 15 minutes making a special non-alcoholic drink for my mother before our dinner and the service was great. It was some of the best cajun/creole food I’ve had in Dallas with crawfish queso, oyster ceviche, and oyster rockefeller as appetizers, linguini with andouille, shrimp, mushrooms, bacon and crawfish, potato cakes, fish, and the list goes on. Overall, I had a wonderful time and the service was fantastic. 504 is a great place to drop in, have a drink with some locals, and dine on some spectacular food. It’s like a high end restaurant and sports bar rolled into one. What’s not to love about that?

Put this down as a must visit. Food is legit. As you can see from my other bitching reviews, I’m pretty particular about food quality and service. First visit here, and they’ve done it. THEYFIGUREDITOUT. Great food(Bring a diaper because the French toast will make you shit your pants), great atmosphere, and most important: friendly and accommodating staff. Here here! Well done. As a fellow Neworleanian I say Whodat to you brahs!(Coming back for lunch immediately).

I stopped by for a late lunch and I enjoyed the space. I would consider this a good spot to watch sports. There are plenty of large tv’s that are visible from every area of the bar. They have a side/private party room. Which has a large window that allows you to see the main restaurant area. The staff at lunch was great. They were friendly, helpful and provided great service. I assume that 504 stands for the Louisiana area code and it’s menu has cajun spin on everything. The food was tasty. I ordered the Fresh Fish over Maque Choux(corn, tomatoes, okra, green pepper). It comes with a side salad, which I forgot to get a picture of. It’s a spicy dish, so you’ve been warned if you can’t handle the heat. Considering that all the restaurants on Lower Greenville have a similar price point. My lunch was $ 20. I’m not sure if it’s the best bargain, but it’s competitive for the area. 504 has a full bar. So you can have a tasty beverage or your favorite beer on tap. Parking can be a limited and a challenge. Beware of the parking lot lookout on the weekends. He’s usually parked/stationed across the street at 7 – 11 or Walmart. If you end your visit 504 and walk next door to Libertine, they will tow your vehicle. Basically 504 is a good addition to the Lower Greenville Ave family and you’ll have a good time.

A friend and I decided to stop by and check out the 504 Bar & Grill which took over New Big Wong’s place for nostalgia. What we thought to be a sports bar turned out to be a tad bit fancier. I ordered the US75 which the bartender/boss recommended. He was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered a snack of Onion Rings which were homemade and delicious. You could definitely tell that they were homemade and fresh. Definitely want to try out the full dinner menu next time. It did not seem busy enough to warrant a reservation but he did say that they take reservations via OpenTable.

Just opened in the old New Big Wong space and looks like a winner. Same owner as the original Dodie’s a couple of doors down. Same type food, seafood cajun, but a bit more upscale. The bartender told us it was the official opening day, but they’ve been opened to the neighborhood for several days. Whatever kinks a new spot usually has was not seen here. The place was very busy and the service was excellent, as was the food. We had the 504 oysters, which were grilled with a sauce on each, and another ½ dozen raw. Even though this is May, the oysters tasted really fresh. We also had the gumbo, a caesar with chicken and peel and eat shrimp. The chicken was a bit dry, but that was the only complaint. They have specialty drinks that were happy hour prices. The bartenders were friendly and helpful and the service all around was great. The atmosphere is casual, with a big bar taking up the bigger part of the room. Tables all around and a glassed in more private room. Lots of TVs over the bar. Would be great to catch some sports here, but the food was the standout.
