this is one of my favorite places to eat with my family. We walked in today for dinner to realize that the menu is different and is under different ownership. The restaurant name plaque on the outside still says potsticker King. We were very disappointed to see this place is now under new management. What happened to pot sticker King?!?

Ordered the combo for 8.99 which included beef noodle soup and 3 pot stickers. For it to be called pot sticker king I was expecting more from their pot stickers. Found the skin to be too thick and it was not crispy. Beef noodle soup was lacking in flavor and the noodle was overdone and mushy. It’s a good price and service was good so I’ll give 3 stars. Food would probably a 2.

One of the places me and my husband miss the most from the Bay :) The waiters where always so nice and the one who I believe is the owner super nice too. The green onion pancakes are the best thing in this whole wide world! We had been going for a while and after I got pregnant and we started going with my big stomach I was always asked how I was and how the baby was too! We kinda felt part of the family they also always have us the same table(if available of course) The service was always super fast and the food was warm and perfect. We miss this place so much. Can’t wait to come back!

Very friendly and adorable owner! It’s on the quiet, casual side so it would be perfect for catching up with a close friend. I only got dumplings this time(chicken and veggies– I love the vegetable dumpling! They’re so carefully made and perfectly cooked!) but will come back for the other dishes.

Short Story: An okay place for lunch… Long Story: We came here on a Saturday afternoon and the place was relatively empty. We were promptly seated and given menus. The selection is actually pretty good and so are the prices. We got a vegetable dish, a sweet and sour soup, and some pork potstickers. The potstickers were pltentiful(8) and both meaty and bready. The soup was pretty good too and the vegetable dish was okay. I wish the vegetable dish would not have been so oily. The customer service was pretty good too. The décor and ambiance are not bad either, lots of windows to see outside or have outside people see in! Verdict: Kinda of a bland place… there’s other places to choose from!

We ordered the pot stickers(pork), $ 7.49. Science this places is called Pot Sticker«King.» It was not the pot stickers I expected. Maybe it is the Chinese style pot stickers. To be honest, I’ll never order it again. House Beef Wrap, $ 7.99. It looks better than it tastes. I thought it was too dry, I put some soy sauce on my plate. An elder waiter came to stop me. He said I can’t eat it that way, and he kept eyes on me all the time. Well, I am not a kid. I can eat the way whatever I want.

Really nice, attentive and pleasant service by Yang. Potstickers were tasty. Tried the special spicy hand-pulled noodles which were chewy and nicely spiced. Yummy hot and sour soup. Eggplant and tofu dish was also pretty good. Lots of tender eggplant. I like this dish spicy, so I mixed in some of the chili oil from the noodles – yum.

My review for this place is long overdue but I must say the food here is really delectable. It was even Farley priced among all the eateries in the plaza. I had a Da Bing and it tasted better than it did when the old Fatima’s Chinese Food Restaurant was in service. Whoever made the food here must have a sense of cooking that will outweigh any Chinese food you can buy in Santa Clara County. Most of the food is really on point. The service here is also good if you come here early. Drawback: don’t eat less here because if you do it would not be worth the price. The best thing to do is try and order some specials because they have more bang for your buck.

I ordered the beef wrap and chicken potstickers from the appetizer menu while my friend ordered the lemon chicken that came with a dumpling soup. The soup tasted like miso soup with oil. The wrap was slightly crunchy, but not enough cucumber and cilantro to balance out the thickness of the chinese pancake. The potstickers were also average, but I wish they had given me more dipping sauce.

Great Mangolian lamb, sweet and sour chicken, string beans. Pot stickers are very nicely cooked. Pancakes are some of the best. Their stews are amazing. Service is very good. My son left his $ 100 pedometer on the table, 2 days later we went back and the manager got it in a little plastic bag in their lost and found bucket. Appreciate the honesty and goodness. We keep coming back to the place.

I’ve been eating here since the late 1990s — back when they were located in a different building, but in the same shopping center. We got here around 11:15AM on Thanksgiving(they aren’t open for dinner this Thanksgiving, unlike last year), and there was plenty of parking. We parked by Merlion. Six tables were already occupied. The hostess in front was friendly, and told us to pick any table we wanted. We chose to sit by the windows. Our server greeted us, and immediately brought over hot tea and table settings. We ordered: Green Onion Pancake $ 4.59: a green onion lover’s dream — so packed with onions that it looks green, and tasted so good fresh off the pan. Honey Walnut Prawns $ 15.99: ten crispy prawns, which were deveined; just the right amount of honey so it wasn’t overwhelmingly sweet. The prawns were cooked just right. Mushu Pork $ 6.99(we got the appetizer size; the full size one is $ 12.99): came with three wrappers and hoisin sauce, and contained plenty of pork and eggs, along with bamboo shoots, woodear mushrooms, and cabbage. The pork was tender and flavorful. Kung Pao Chicken $ 11.99: tender chicken with celery, chili peppers, bell peppers, and peanuts — all in equal proportions. Turnip Cake $ 3.49 for two pieces: No dried shrimp or Chinese sausage, but still tasty. Steamed White Rice $ 1.29 per bowl(brown rice is $ 1.39): soft and fluffy. The hot tea(jasmine) was free of charge. Each table had containers of soy sauce, chili sauce, and white vinegar off to the side. All the food arrived at our table within ten minutes, just a couple of minutes apart from each other. We were hungry, so none of the food had a chance to get cold! Our server was quick to take empty dishes away. The hostess was looking around the room, and saw us motion for the bill, and she had our server bring it by promptly. Our server quickly processed our credit card, and as we were leaving, the hostess and another employee in front thanked us for dining here, and wished us a Happy Thanksgiving. The restrooms are clean. FYI They have lunch specials($ 9.49 to $ 9.99) available even on holidays — lunch specials were on the menus handed to us, and everyone at the table next to us ordered lunch specials.

The King has arrived! And he is less than impressive. I find it odd that a restaurant would put so much emphasis on one small menu item in their name. It’s like calling a generic restaurant«French Fry King.» You don’t make a whole meal out of french fries and if it’s going to be called this, then they better be the best french fries I ever ate. I can’t say these are the best potstickers I ever ate. I tried the chicken & pork… pork outshined chicken but neither were particularly thrilling. They were a little dry and lacked flavor. Maybe I’ll come back to try their other food! The people who helped us were plenty nice at least.

uhmmm for a place called Pot Sticker King, you would think that their potstickers would be good? LOLNO. my friends and i came around 1245 on a weds for lunch and got their lunch special. $ 8.95 for 2 potstickers, soup, rice and a large side. PRetty good deal. We each got that with choice wonton soup and honey walnut shrimp, garlic eggplant, sweet and sour pork. …waited like 20 minutes… potsticker: straight from the fridge into the microwave. sauce didnt make it better. thick slightly hard exterior wonton soup: wonton was good. but the soup is probably 20 percent water, 80 percent salt and 100 percent msg omggggg fried rice: MEHHH so bland honey walnut shrimp: pretty big juicy shrimp, sweet garlic eggplant: decent but i dont think i can eat a whole meal with just this. eat with the sauce tho pork: average, nothing that great, but they do put pineapples the server/waitress was laggging hella hard. only like 1 – 2 waiters for the entire restaurant only good for lunch deals. but my friend said panda express better MSg msg MSGMSGMSG lol

This has proven to be a disappointment. I ordered their specialty pork potstickers, but the item was not up to their reputation. These dumplings were large, thick skinned, but the fried bottom was not crispy or well done inside. Taste is not ideal either. Overall a disappointment. My DH makes better potstickers at home than this and he’s not even Asian.

The name is right. These guys are the king of pot stickers. They are amazing and are fried up just right, not too much, and not too greasy. This place is rather unassuming and is not trying to be a high end establishment or be snobby. It basically makes great Chinese food, at very reasonable prices, and with wonderful service. I went there as part of a group of 9. We had reservations and I informed them we would have someone in a wheelchair. They bent over backward for us. They put us in the room off to the right as you walk in the door, it was perfect for our family dining experience. We got the family meal A and ended up ordering 9 different dishes and sharing. The food came out in courses with just the right amount of timing between courses. The soup came first and was very good. Vegetables were very fresh and the won ton in the soup tasted great. Course 2 was the pot stickers of course which were amazing. Course three was a hodge podge of nine dishes. My favorites were the kung pao chicken, Mongolian beef, and the crispy orange chicken. The mixed chow mein was very good as well. My kids loved the sweet and sour pork and the fried rice. I highly recommend this place for a family meal. The service is great and the prices are right, and the portions are ample. Can’t wait to go again when I am in Cupertino.

PSK has been a family favorite and tradition for a couple of years now. This place never disappoints with their authentic Taiwanese small bites(xiao chi) from green onion pancake to the sticky rice cone and beef green onion pancake wrap… just to name a few. Our whole family(4) has eaten here for a total bill of under $ 30 every single time. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Yes, there is such thing as cheap and delicious. Winning. The store owner is such a cutiepie and hardworking individual – I’ve seen him every time we’ve eaten as his establishment. The waitresses are all«Asian Mom» types and give you typical Chinese restaurant service – no frills, no fuss, just good old-fashioned ORDERANDEAT. Plus, you know it’s good when legit Taiwanese people come here to get their«taste of home away from home» fix. If you don’t feel quite satisfied with your food, you can waltz on over across the plaza to Yogurtland or Beard Papa’s. This place is conveniently located in the Cupertino Plaza of Elephant Bar and Daiso – the heartland of the Asian mobs. So if you plan on coming here for dinner during the busiest days like Friday-Sunday, be wary of parking! I’ve circled the area many times just to find a spot before, and we have always gotten extremely lucky. Drive a smaller compact car if you plan on coming here – you’ll thank me later.

Thai basil chicken, honey-pecan prawns, beef with string beans, chicken sizzling rice soup. That’s what we ordered for dinner tonight. It was a little different from what we usually order there and it was gooooood. Honey-Pecan Prawns: lightly sweet, sort of a whitish cream sauce on the iceberg lettuce bed underneath. About 10 or so prawns. Crispy and fried. I didn’t see any of the poop-veins, which I can’t stand seeing at a restaurant. Thai basil chicken: The heat was mellow, it kind of snuck up on me. There were pieces of green chile in there and my hubby ate 2(he broke out in a sweat and his eyes were watering –lol). The basil added a fragrance to the dish that was intoxicating(if you like that sort of thing). There were some veggies in there(Peas, mushrooms, broccoli). Chicken sizzling rice soup: Ordered for my daughter. Really light and really good. Big pieces of thin-sliced chicken. Broth was very light. The show is the rice being added to the broth at the table and then the waitstaff ladles it into bowls. Carrot, bamboo shoot and water chestnut slices in it too. Beef with string beans: Pretty much Broccoli Beef, just remove broccoli and add string beans instead. Beef was sliced small. Hot tea, ice water and then the requisite fortune cookies afterwards. Service was awesome. Loved our waiter. He was great, great attitude, great service, super-fast. They have a couple of rooms for larger parties, where they have a Lazy Susan in the middle of the table. If you have kids w/you, that alone will keep them amused for the entire meal. Have eaten here many times and enjoy it. Surprised that I didn’t review it earlier!

When you call yourselves«Potsticker King», there has to be some validity to that, but the potstickers here were just meh. I wouldn’t necessarily come here for their potstickers, but they do have some good stuff going for them: + I like the staff here. They’re pretty friendly and attempt to make jokes with you. + They’re also really attentive and refill your water/tea almost immediately. + aside from their potstickers, their food isn’t bad. Some signature Taiwanese dishes are pretty solid, and they have a pretty good selection. + a lot of seating, so even on a busy weekend, you’re sure to find a table here

I rarely give 1 star but when the food is so low quality its hard not to. Dinning on a Sunday. And the 3 things we got felt like they are re-heated and served to us. The pot stickers looked like they were reheated on the pan. Looks like it has gone through a war. Missing wrapper. Not crunchy. Its sad Chinese donut was soaked in oil. Obviously refried. The Tawainese tapioca pudding had meat in it that has been overcooked again and again. Totally not the right thing as the real Tawainese dish. If this was in a place where Chinese food is scarce I would accept it. But in Cupertino? I have higher standards. Especially on Sunday where inventory is being moved. Can’t imagine how bad it would be on weekdays eating here.
