I had a bad experience today. I ordered online through eat 24 and when I arrived they said my order wasn’t ready. Not a problem I can wait. Two other groups come in and order after me. As I’m waiting they receive their food. I noticed it was the same thing I ordered a Gyros combo. I then proceed to stand by the counter to wait for my food. The lady working the counter told me it would be a few more minutes. That’s when I explain to her my situation and how this seems unfair. A few minutes later she tells me they are waiting on the fries. At this point I’m frustrated with the quality of service. At the end of it all I get that they are trying to serve customers that are dining in first. But I would think they would want to get their to go orders out too. How about just processing the orders as they come in. I’m very disappointed with this vist. I usually get really quick and friendly service.

Okay so they were open this time, which is good, as we had arrived before their posted closing in the past to find them closed. Clean, basic order at the counter place. The guy who took the order and brought it out was very friendly. I had the gyro plate. It was good, not brilliant, but for the money, fine. Veggies in salad were fresh. Dolmos were as good as expected. I would definitely give it another try for quick, inexpensive Greek and Mediterranean dishes. Just get there more than 30 minutes before their official closing time.

i had a Gyro. i had a to go order. i usually don’t tip on to go .i clearly remember i did not but when my credit card settled it settled for $ 2 dollar more then what i paid… Looks like they charge tip by themselves. well i am not gona dispute for $ 2. but it was funny how they think they can charge more money later. On that basis I give them 2 star.

I ordered the combination plate with the gyro, lamb kabob and chicken kabob. I took it to-go. It was so delicious and fresh. The kabobs just needed a pinch of salt, which i added, and they were perfect. It was so good that i wanted to go back the next day. I didn’t lol. But i will be going back very soon. Hopefully today:-).

Rating: 25⁄100 Trying a new restaurant every week around my office results both in delicious new discoveries, and regrettable missteps. Unfortunately, Mykonos belongs to the latter. I walked in with elevated hopes: there was a handwritten daily special posted at the entrance, and the clean interior was adorned with faux Greek columns and a large print showing dwellings at the island of Mykonos. So far, so good! I ordered the daily special($ 9.75) which, coming with 2 gyro meats, pita, rice, tzaziki, Greek salad, and a drink, seemed like a good deal. Regardless, food quality sadly fell far below my expectations, and this«daily special» was nothing special: the meat had zero volume, instead just being overly toasted, fatty scraps. This becomes more apparent once they cool down, at which point I couldn’t bring myself to finish them. The meat was served over a «Greek salad», which was little more than generic lettuce with paltry clumps of feta and 2 kalamata olives. The pita was not served fresh or warm. The rice seemed okay at first, but ended up greasy by the end. Come to think of it, the only part of the meal I really enjoyed was my two olives. Opa for kalamata olives! Greek food is not well-represented in Los Angeles. There used to be a «just okay» Greek place at the Westfield mall that I frequented out of sheer longing for the cuisine. A good distance from the mall, Mykonos resides on Washington Blvd, which actually has some high-quality restaurants. All that said, the food here was no better than mall food, and no less expensive either. Service, on the other hand, was exemplary, but as for food, there are far better lunches for $ 10. A disappointingly low 2 stars.

Been there twice, the staff is amazing very nice and helpful. Food is very good too. I had the falafel wrape and side of rice, it was really yummy. I also had aside of hummus with pita, the pita serve it wasn’t that great and also was disappointment with baklava.

The dolmades are delicious! I got a side of feta, pita, and hummus with them. A cheap, tasty lunch to go.

I do have to say that I have been spoiled in the Greek food department so the bar is set a little higher for«average». Despite that, this was below average. I had the lamb souvlaki platter while my Darling had the chicken souvlaki platter. Let’s start with the tzatziki. It was tasted like light, watery yogurt with no real hint of cucumber or tartness. The lamb souvlaki could have been any meat and the chicken was standard-issue. The rice had some saffron flavor but it did not really feel Greek so much as Persian. The salad that came with both platters was good(so glad they put the dressing on the side) but the feta was meh. The one thing that stood out was the baklava… yummy goodness! There are not that many great Greek choices in LA and, unfortunately, you can add this to the list of disappointments. This place takes cards.

Love this place! Small little neighborhood place with great food at a reasonable price. Staff is always really friendly and it’s easy to order take out online. What more can you ask for?! Great food? They have that too. Gyros meat is crispy with a nice flavor, rice is buttery and goes great with salad, hummus is creamy and delicious.

Midweek lunch visit, ordering a gyros sandwich combo: Gyros meat is extremely dry. Not quite strips of sandpaper but seemed like the gyro meat was prepared the evening before then popped into a heating oven. Fries– nothing to complain about here. They give you quite a lot, you can easily share this. Drink– you get your choice of a drink in the fridge. Summary: you get a lot of food but can’t hardly compensate for the extremely dry gyros that they served that day. This review is as boring as their food.

The falafel was really good with the tahini. The dolma was good. The chicken kabob was juicy and well-seasoned. The salad was good as well. I ordered a small humus and really enjoyed it. And the food was was delivered earlier than quoted. The only thing we didn’t care for was the rice. I can’t describe it, but we are not a fan of the taste at at. Neither of us had more than a few forks full.

I want this place to stay open for as long as possible. Just putting it out there in the universe. Small mom and pops shop with some decent wannabe Greek food. I don’t want to be mean since I love this spot but I know this isn’t the most authentic Greek food, and that’s OK. When you can’t afford the real deal yet, this place will satisfy your cravings. Their pita sandwiches are super tasty and flavorful. Salad dressing and the yogurt sauces are on point. Overall, great meal that won’t leave you starving. And you got all your food groups in a meal: a little veggie from the side salad, some carbs from the rice or bread, and your protein with chicken or lamb. Great find, never a line, easy parking. Go support them!

I love this restaurant. It’s walking distance from my work so I’m there regularly. The food is consistently good and the staff always has a smile to brighten my day. Favorite things on the menu: Chicken Gyro Salad(add avocado for a big treat) — perfectly proportioned mix of veggies, meat and extras. .. and the gyro is well seasoned w/a great grilled caramelized crust Mediterranean Burger — one of the best turkey burgers I’ve had. It has all of the seasoning of the gyro with a moist finish of a burger Vegetarian Plate — Great combination of items — crunchy falafel, creamy hummus, fresh tabouleh and a mixed salad. everything comes with plenty of pita Dolmades — soooo good! olive oil and lemon make the flavors of the rice(and dill?) sing

Grilled fish plate was ok, a little dry. The salad was really flavorful. 3.5 stars, but rounded up because the woman serving was very sweet and attentive. Should have tried the falafel plate instead…

The service here was great for the little shop it is. If you’ve had authentic Mediterranean food, you might be disappointed tho. I ordered the Lamb Souvlaki Plate which came with a Greek salad, pita bread, Tzatziki sauce(Greek cucumber yogurt), rice, and a skewer’s worth of Lamb meat. For $ 12, I expected more meat than was given, which was dry. The rice was bland, like something from a «Rice A Roni» box. The Greek salad was alright, and the pita bread tasted a little stale. I don’t really like writing bad reviews, but definitely not 4 stars worthy. Great service tho

Great casual Greek café I give it 5 stars because the food is fresh and well presented. I come here at least three times a month. My fav dishes are the Grilled Lamb plate, Grilled Trout and the Gyro salad. I love to finish the meal sharing a piece of Baklava. Parking outside is metered and limited to 30 minute times. However I’ve never seen anyone get a ticket for staying longer… roll the dice! Major CC accepted, must try place when in the hood and you want some great Greek. Service is friendly and efficient the owner works a lot during the day make sure things work right. Enjoy your meal!

Gyro was good, not used to romaine lettuce in a traditional gyro, but whatever. Fries were hot and crisp, Greek salad had ONE olive, that was a disappointment. Would have been nice if they had fountain drinks instead of cans which weren’t even ice cold, just cool. Customer service could have also been better, like maybe smile and say«hello» and«thank you».

My 1st time. Got the Gyros Salad which comes with side of pita and Tzatziki sauce. There’s also one dolmades inside the salad. Odd because I saw other pics having more than one dolmades. Pretty good. Very simple Greek food. I would come back. Cashier was nice. My wait was maybe 5 mins max for my order. Easy in and easy out! Street parking is all I saw.

Nice little Mediterranean spot… parking can be tough at night… there are meters in the front, parking spots in the back and a side street to find a spot on… you’ve got this. This is one of the few mediterranean places near where I live that has a gyro… everywhere else has pita sandwich, but no gyro and they’re yummy here. Another nice thing… they let us change the channel so we wouldn’t see any of the cavs game while we were there so we wouldn’t be spoiled for tape delay. So nice!!!

LA is not a really big Greek food town But If you want really good Greek food at under $ 10 a person then come here We love the chicken gyro plate and the beef lamb blended gyro plate The hummus is outstanding. Great flavor and not overly garlicky
