It was clean, simple, fast, tasty, and service was good. Now it’s closed… Bummer.

I asked for extra tzatziki sauce, to go. I received absolutely none, not extra, nor in the pita wrap. Thanks.

I usually don’t go to Daphne’s because the one in Hollywood is just so-so. But for some reason this Daphne’s if great! Also, I wanted to comment on how awesome the team working there is. I was in there 30 min. ago, and these guys put out my food lightning quick and were the nicest humans I’ve encountered in a long time. I didn’t ask there names, but if there is any corporate award or raise to be given, the 4 guys working today at this shift deserve it! You guys rock!!! Thank you SO much for restoring my faith in humanity!!! Food was on time, and DELICIOUS! Again, Thanks to those great guys on the register, and in the kitchen!

For the price this place is a good value. It is a go to place for me when I don’t want to think about where to go and don’t have much time to eat. The food is always good. LOVE the chocolate chip cookies for desert.

For a fast food Mediterranean restaurant it can’t be beat! Great chicken Greek salad and even better falafel. Clean and inviting… helpful staff. Great location… Right next to new arc light cinema.

I used to be a regular and absolutely loved this place five years ago and before that. The last few Codie, the restaurant is completely empty, the food is bad, and service is slow. Major step down in quality. I strongly recommend avoiding this place, it is poor.

Excellent lunch catered to the office from this great place. Yummy soft pita bread, delicious chicken and lamb and wonderful Greek salad. No hummus? That can’t be right… Someone must have forgot to include it in the order. Oh well!

Very solid three stars. Good, not amazing. Like coming here for lunch because it’s close by, fast, and cheaper than most options in DT Culver. The food is good but nothing is particularly memorably delicious. What makes me sad is that the pita bread is just decent :( I do like their hot sauce offerings though! Service is always good and fast. Also convenient for take-out.

Daphne’s is probably one of my favorite«grab a quick tasty bite» places. Most of the dishes I ate at Daphnes were delicious. Unfortunately not at this location though. I’ve been to this branch twice and comparing to other locations the quality of food here is very disappointing. I found everything to be very greasy and sloppy. Both times I visited happened to be around the same time of a day so I assume it has something to do with a specific chef. Possibly the guy can stop by the Manhattan beach location? I found their food to be way better quality. I’m going to stay away for a while, come try later and will update the review if food quality improves.

Came here on a whim while out in Downtown Culver City, free 2 hour parking across the street next to Bank of America lot. Not sure if «California Greek» is a real thing or a marketing gimmick, but«Mexi-Cali» had to start somewhere. Daphne’s is a Greek inspired restaurant with healthy, fresh food. Their combos or plates included small salad, rice, fresh pita bread, and traditional tzatziki sauce along with selection of any 2 items such as steak kabob, Greek spinach pie, chicken kabob, felafel, grilled shrimp, and fried shrimp. I chose the chicken kabob and fried shrimp. I was pleasantly surprised by the food, The chicken came out extremely moist and tender, which is hard to do on kebabs. The shrimp came out crispy and tasty, you get quite a few as well. Seating was a little problem during lunch as all the seats are full and there are a limited number, but turnover is pretty quick and I found a seat about 5 min before the food came out. They do have other fresh items on the menu such as salads, sandwiches made from pita, and dinner deals which I’d like to try. All in all, worth your time to come and try this place out. You won’t leave disappointed.

This place used to be really good but all their locations have gone down hill The last time I ate here I had a Greek salad with grilled chicken strips. It was really awful I give it two stars instead of one because I like their tatziki sauce and spicy feta cheese With all the great restaurants in Culver a City and LA– Daphnes needs to wake up and pay more attention

Don’t do it! We were lured in by the kind of amazing meal deal and wanting lemon chicken soup on a cold rainy night. But besides the soup, which is pretty good, everything here is terrible. The tabbouli is maybe the worst I’ve ever had. The chicken and beef were sketchy looking and didn’t taste great.

Not too sure why this place only averages 3 stars. I love it! Introduced to Daphne’s by a co-worker, I immediately fell and love and frequent it, well every day of the week. The food is super fresh and the staff is really nice and accommodating. Anything with the grilled shrimp is excellent and you get a discount if you show your Culver Studios ID badge. This place really needs more kudos. Go to Daphne’s its delish!

The restaurant itself is very clean, the staff are friendly and the prices are reasonable. If you walk in looking for a ‘gyro,’ it’s called the ‘Classic Pita’ with ‘gyro meat’ which is of course lamb. I purposefully avoided this place for nearly two years because I thought they didn’t have gyros. Haha! I’ve eaten here twice now and everything was good! Classic Greek American food. I have to mention again that the staff here were all very friendly and very helpful!

What happened? I remember going to Daphne’s a few years ago in Torrance and LOVING the food. I heard a few rumors that the food quality had gone down drastically and could not help but disbelieve all comments. I mean who would know Daphnes better than me, right? Wrong! The side vegetables were the only consistent item. I ordered a chicken pita. The chicken used to be made fresh on the grill with all sorts of herbs and spices. Here I was served with a cold chicken pita that was made for someone else. Yes, you read that right. They had the sandwich sitting out and waiting for my side orders to be completed and attempted to give me a fifteen minute out in the air, open sandwich. I told them that was not acceptable and they finally remade another one. Mind you I waited 30 minutes for food which I loved so dearly. The chicken was cold because the man pulled it out of a tin casing where it had sat for lord knows however long. The fries were too crisp and actually hurt while chewing. Luckily I was starving after a major hike and took the food down like a pro. All in all a very saddening experience. Wish they’d kept the food quality up when they decided to franchise. I suggest the Greek Kabob in West LA, now that’s real, and extremely healthy food! Here’s to a better Greek experience Unilocalers!

You know what you’re getting into when you eat at Daphne’s. It’s fast«Greek» food. Rice pilaf, thin-silced gyros, and cold pita. It may not be the most delicious or authentic grub out there, but it’s pretty reliable and reasonably inexpensive. This location is actually the best of any Daphne’s I’ve ever eaten at. All of the tables were perfectly clean, the manager came by multiple times to ask us how everything was and if we needed anything, and my Greek salad was good, with well-seasoned, grilled chicken breast and fresh lettuce. Unilocaler Chris C, who was nice enough to treat me to lunch here, was equally as impressed with his meal. Parking is a big pain in downtown Culver City, so you know what you’re in for if you’re driving in for Daphne’s.

Daphne’s has definitely switched into a healthier Greco — Cali style establishment vs. what i’m used to. I had the Gyro plate and it was still really good. They even made the meat«Extra Crispy» for me… portions felt a little small but maybe that’s because they are healthier now. I used to get a gyro pâté and be 100% stuffed, if not sometimes having leftovers but I definitely needed to get a snack quickly after I ate dinner. I don’t expect greatness from Daphne’s but I also know that the food will never be terrible. Check out my picture… Monday and Wednesday’s seem like they have pretty good deals.

If you need a quick and fresh Greek lunch or dinner, DCG is a great option! Fresh salads, wraps, plates of kebabs, and apps that you can veg up or carnivore up. Greek salad was a nice portion of greens, red onions, gorgonzola, tomato, avo, and cucumbers, topped with a vinaigrette and served up with warm pita bread. Yum. Got mine with chicken that was tasty grilled and perfectly seasoned. The sampler is a nice app to share with cucumbers and pita chips you can chow with 3 different dips — feta, guac, and hummus. Perfect for 2! Calorie counters will be happy to find all menu items labeled so you can order with ease! This location is on Main Street Culver City so right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of downtown CC. Convenient stop in before going to the movies next door. Friendly and clean, solid all around. Park in the structure off of Cardiff or Washington. First 2 hours are free! If not this location, you can find DCG’s all across SoCal, AZ or CO!

I came here basically because I don’t like Chipotle and didn’t feel like trying Lyfe. The food is overpriced, the portions are small and the service is mixed. I had the grilled salmon with pilaf and grilled veggies(choice of 2 sides). With a drink, my meal came to about $ 13. The salmon was decent, nothing memorable. I liked the slightly buttery carrots. My friend complained about how the portions had really shrunk since his last time eating here and said the cucumber sauce«sucked». I thought the cucumber sauce was ok but tasted more like sour cream than yogurt. My friend was pleased with her chicken orzo soup. I really liked how they have flavored syrups at the soda machine because fountain Diet Coke almost always tastes different and I got to add cherry syrup. But that was pretty much the highlight of my visit.
