If there was an option to give no stars on here I definitely would. Let me start of by saying WORSTSERVICEEVER. We shop at West Field Mall all the time, We had been wanting to try this place for a while now. Since it was my cousins birthday and she loves Crepes we decided to come have dinner here. Since the minute we stepped foot in this place we were received with so much rudeness. Apparently«Eric» was the waiters name. Some of my family members and i had arrived a little early before the birthday Girl. She had mention that she already had made a reservation. When we walked in with a really rude tone practically almost yelling at us, he kept asking how many of us we were. We told him that my cousin had already made a reservation and we werent sure how many more people she had invited. So i gave him an estimate of 8 since he kept insisting to give him a number even though he was aware of the reservation. Then after a few minutes of going back and forth with the count he finally sat us down in a really big table. We saw that the table next to us was a little messy due to a child but there was no throw up nor it smelled like anything at all. My mom nicely asked him for a cup of coffee and he responded the rudest way any waiter can respond to a customer. He said«i clean first you wait 10 minutes, you wait OKAY! Im busy, I clean you wait! «those were the exact words he used. We were all shocked that he talked to us like that over a coffee. One of my aunts arrives right after this incident and tells the waiter that the table he sat us in was too big for us, it was practically for about 10 – 14 ppl. She kindly told him not to worry about it that we would set up the smaller table for us ourselves. He got so mad and started yelling out of nowhere that i had told him 8 ppl and to leave the tables alone that he would do it after he was done cleaning. He kept going off and complaining that he was working by himself. That place was almost empty there was only one couple eating there. We were not asking him for anything else but to let us sit on a smaller table. At this point we were beyond upset. He was so angry for no reason and started yelling at my aunt again. We told him that we were just going to leave because this is not what we were expecting for such a special day for my cousin. We werent going to keep sitting around just to get treated like crap«excuse my french». We didnt even get to try the food which im sure is probably very delicious by the looks of the pictures. Customer service is the main Key to run a business without it no one will ever come back. Everyone has a bad day and I understand that, but there is no need to take it out on ppl that are just trying to have a good /fun dinner with their family.

Service was the WORST!.. I’m sure the food there is wonderful as it was very well recommended. 5 of my girlfriends and I came in on January the 29 last week to celebrate my cousin’s bday, we were rudely greeted by a bald older man whom was very rude to all of us. told us when asked him for a coffee that we had to wait 10 minutes because he had to clean a table and also arguing loudly with us because we didn’t tell him the correct number of people we were expecting. we couldn’t even try the food and just walked out and we will never come back to this awful service!

First thing that struck me was the uncomfortable feeling i got and then was suddenly confronted by the rudest man i could have possibly met at any establishment… Yet i stayed a little longer just to see if the night would change, but it turned out for the worst… i asked for a coffee from the man who rudely greeted us in the beginning and he aggressively demanded me to wait 10 minutes for he was accupied cleaning tables… then he started to point and yell at my daughter on the misunderstanding on how many people were joinging us… i had to leave immediately after that and regretted not being able to try the food since it has been recommended by many of my close friends, but thats not worth the service I recieved that night…

I’ve become a regular at Crème de la Crêpe, since the very first time I visited this cute, little bistro, because it is a great place to eat good food, relax, and it’s a nice little get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. With that said, since I am a regular here, I generally don’t write reviews for this establishment every single time I come in. Otherwise, I’d be writing reviews on Crème de la Crêpe every other day, lol! But as I was on Crème de la Crêpe’s Unilocal page today looking for the telephone number, I noticed a couple of reviews that were recently posted and I felt absolutely compelled to comment on them as I think they are unfair and of course don’t tell the whole story as is common with most negative reviews, they are grossly one sided. I was there last Friday, January 29th, the same night that the two people that posted the negative reviews referring to the waiter as the«bald older man.» First of all, so rude to refer to someone in that manner, his name is Eric and he is awesome! I’ve gotten to know him and he is incredibly kind and sweet, and most importantly, a true professional waiter! I understand you may not have caught his name, but you could’ve said the French waiter(for example). Anyway, I was there that night, as were a few other customers and we witnessed everything that occurred. One woman came in first, on the phone and rudely asked for a table for her and one friend, while still on her cell phone. It was a clear understanding that she needed a table for a party of 2. Eric politely told her, «anywhere, you’d like,» and she proceeded to sit at a table for 2. At the same time, a small child sitting at another table with his family, got sick and began vomiting right there in the dining room. The family was mortified and asked for the check, so they could leave. Eric made sure to reassure them and let them know not to worry, that it happens and that he would clean it up. As soon as the family left, Eric began cleaning the vomit, which was rapidly beginning to fill the dining room with a very unpleasant smell. Hence, why Eric was in such a hurry to clean it up and us as the customers were happy that he was on top of the situation. At the same time that he’s cleaning up the vomit, the rest of the woman’s party comes in(the rude woman on the phone) and it is a big party, it’s not a party of 2 as she’d previously advised him. Eric asked how many people will be in your party and one of the women in the party responded«why do you need to know that?» I thought to myself, ummmm?! Maybe because it’s a restaurant and the waiter needs to do his job. I supposed if you actually went to a real restaurant once in awhile, you’d know this. Eric politely responded again, well I just want to know so I can accommodate you. They sat in the large table in the middle and he provided them with menus and went back to cleaning the vomit. As soon as he went back to clean the vomit and believe me it was obvious to anyone with a sense of smell that he was cleaning something unpleasant like vomit, one of the women in the party, yelled out from across the table, «can I get a coffee?» Eric replied, «yes, no problem, just give me a minute.» He left the vomit mess for a second, walked over to the bar, washed his hands, and got her a cup of coffee, and returned to cleaning up. That’s all it took for this group to begin a rude, verbal attack against the waiter and his ethnicity, in front of all the other customers and then they all got up and left(without paying for the coffee, btw). All of the other customers were disgusted with their behavior. And I for one, was really glad they left! I hate when people don’t have the class and etiquette on how to behave in a restaurant or public setting! It’s totally unacceptable!

Incredible service; very accommodating and polite waiters. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was quiet! Definitely enjoyed finding this spot since BJ’s was a mad house. The wife and I had the St. Pierre and the Parisienne… Both fantastic. Both filling and tasty! If we’re in the area again, we’ll be coming back.

I usually go to the Crepes Café in Santa Monica, but didn’t want to drive so I checked out some places closer to my neighborhood and was skeptical because other crêpe places have just been so so, but the food here is wonderful! I used their delivery service and the food arrived quick. I ordered the fish tacos, Bisous crêpe and Coquine crêpe; DELICIOUS! I consider myself to be a picky eater and Crème de la Crêpe definitely met my expectations plus some. I’m a repeat customer now.

I tried my best to not let the fact that I had just recently returned from France influence my opinion on Crème de la Crêpe – but the fact is, it had been 2 weeks, and I craved a crêpe, so here’s my review. Location The restaurant is part of the Westfield Mall, but you enter from outside, next to the Five Guys. The interior is relaxing and French enough to make you forget you are actually sitting in an American mall, replete with old-world-looking tables and French poetry-adorned walls. Menu You don’t necessarily need to be in the mood for dessert when you come: they have a fairly extensive menu of both sweet and savory dishes, the crux is which is indeed formed by savory buckwheat crepes and sweet crepes. **Tip to order like a pro** In France, savory buckwheat crepes are actually called«galettes», and sweet crepes are actually pronounced with a short e – «crêpe» rhymes with«step», not«grape». Food From what I’ve tried, the food is satisfactory, but sadly, falls shorts of being great. I enjoyed the ingredients of my savory crêpe more than the batter itself. Portion sizes are what you’d expect to get in France, so don’t expect to go from empty to completely full with a single plate. Service Service was fantastic when I went. The restaurant wasn’t particularly full, allowing the staff to be quite attentive. Overall Value You end up paying around $ 15 – 18 for a single plate. Though justifiable for better quality food, I felt I had to dock a star for the quality you get. That being said, I was happy with the fact that you can casually drop in and enjoy yourself a fairly authentic French experience out of a mall, and if for nothing else, it is this that may bring me back from time to time.

Bön Jour! Greeted by a waitress with a smirk. I thought ok. She not professional. But our waitress was much more pleasant. Breakfast was delicious .I ordered eggs, waffles and sausage. Coffee. Mom ordered eggs, potatoes, comes with French bread. We had asked for toasted bread but she told me they don’t toast the baguette, me and mom thought, how ridiculous! But when we got our plate the baguette was toasted. So she got points for that. If a customer asks for a special request they should try to honor it. Don’t ever say you cant!!! It just bread ok. It’s easier not to return but in this case she came through

Went here for breakfast on thanksgiving. The breakfast burrito was amazing, so was the Benedict, and I have never in my life had a better dessert crêpe!!! Whatever they put in their crêpe batter is just perfect! Also the mimosas are a pretty good deal here! Our waitress I can’t remember her name but she was the nicest lady I have ever met! Very attentive and just so sweet, even tho she was working on thanksgiving! Anyway great spot definitely going back more often!

I found this place to be just fine. The crêpe I ordered came out a little less than ideal temperature wise. The taste was just fine. Service… just fine. Nothing was a huge stand out here. If you’re jonesing for a crêpe, why not. If you’re not, maybe find another place.

Nice little place located at Westfield shopping center next to my burger addictions: Five Guys. Parking comes at a premium later in the day. Shelly was my waitress who let me sit wherever I wanted to. I picked a table on the opposite side of the café from the screaming kids. They have a very large assortment of crepes. Daph breakfast crêpe. Cinnamon baked apples, brown sugar topped with toasted almonds. The food came out in a timely fashion. It’s like eating a French version of an apple pie. The whipped cream was ultra sweet. One of the sweetest and most delicious breakfasts I have had in a long time. Stella Artois, Modelo, Hoegaarden are on tap. They also offer mimosas and have wine. What caught my eye were the copper mugs and Fever-Tree ginger ale for better tasting mules. Will definitely have to come back for dinner.

Located just outside the Westfield Culver City mall, this hidden French bistro specialized in. you guess it… crepes! They have both savory entrée crepes and sweet dessert ones. There is an extensive wine list as well, and if you check in on Unilocal, you’ll get a free glass of wine! I had the Saint Pierre($ 16.95), which is a seafood crêpe with shrimp, crab, tomatoes, and jack cheese. I really did not love this dish as much as I would have hoped. The filling did not taste fresh, but rather like a pre-frozen mixture. The side of greens also had a mayo-based dressing. As in, it tasted like mayonnaise. Service was very nice.

One of my all time favorite spots for crepes! This place is just awesome. First, you wouldn’t think to find this type of place in a large shopping center. Most tend to be fast-foodish(yes I made that word up). The food here is really good, if you are into eating healthy and great portions this is the spot for you. The crepes coming out of this kitchen always taste fresh, light, and loaded with flavor. My favorite is the shrimp crêpe. Of course you a not come here and not have dessert crêpe while your at it. They have one that has bourbon which is outstanding. The location again is not like your typical place, it’s located on the north side of the malls entrance. It has both inside and outside seating which is great. No reservations needed as even though it’s really good I’ve yet to see this place that packed(not sure during lunch rush though). The staff here are friendly but also very informative about the menu. This place seems to be family ran but they really care for their clients. I would and will definitely come back to this place!

This place is located on the same premise as a mall — but is an actual restaurant, not part of the food court. So apparently it’s pretty hard to find a place that is open at 10am on a Sunday AND can accommodate a large group. After doing a semi thorough search via Unilocal,we decided on this place. [Another requirement was that it needed to be near LAX, as we were catching a flight that afternoon.] We made a reservation for 14 people at Crème de la Crêpe Bistro, my husband called in, spoke to someone to make the reservation, when we arrived, we realized they don’t really have a big enough space to accommodate 14 people. There is a large center table for 10, so we ended up just pulling in additional chairs on each side. Which frustrated me about this ordeal was, the guy who sat us down 1. Seemed very confused 2. Didn’t communicate what his plan was on how to seat us(we just sat down at the large table, since it was clear there was nowhere else for us to sit) 3. Didn’t help make our table suitable for a party of 14, we had to move our own furniture. Our table got a variety of food, it was all okay, nothing special. I wouldn’t come here for the food, it’s not great. But what is great is the $ 14(with a purchase of an entrée) bottomless mimosas! The last weird thing the waiter did … only 5 of the 14 of us got the all you can drink mimosa option, a few people from our group had to leave early. He took one of the used glasses, from someone that left, filled it up, and gave it to my friend who was still drinking. This was gross because 1. I thought it was trash and poured water I didn’t want in that cup so it tasted like water with orange juice 2. It’s a dirty cup! The food was mediocre. The waiter wasn’t bad or mean, he just didn’t seem to think seating us was part of his job. I would not recommend this place to others or come back here again, there are many other places I would try before coming here again.

So I’ve come here during lunch a few times and the one thing I enjoy the most is their sweet crepes. Yummm! I have two favorites: Zidane — how can you not love this one?! It has nutella, strawberries and banana and oh yeah vanilla ice cream! Crème de la Crêpe — this one has the flambé with grand marnier! yummy yummy I’ve been here for dinner and not a fan of their entrees but I do enjoy their hot chocolate! Small intimate place to come to.

I’ve been to other locations of Crème de la Crêpe but this was my first visit to the one in Culver. We went at 9pm on a Monday night and got a table right away. We sat outside on the patio(which is small, only a few tables). We had excellent service from our waiter, Victor. He was very friendly and attentive. We tried the French onion soup, which was good. My husband had a pasta dish and I had the salad nicoise. I love salad nicoise, but not too many places have it. That’s why I come to Crème de la Crêpe! I’ve also had their crepes before(again, at another location) and they are very good. The food is a tad bit overpriced, in my opinion. It’s not the greatest quality French food, but it’s tasty and like I said I just love those salad nicoises, which are hard to come by it seems in LA. You can get a free glass of wine if you check-in on your Unilocal app, with the purchase of an entrée. Victor was great and let us use this deal. He also informed us about their great happy hour(I believe 3−5pm) where you can get appetizers, desserts, wine, and beer on tap all for 50% off. That sounds like a hell of a happy hour to me so I definitely intend to check that out some time!

This place is about as French as you can get – in a mall. I wanted to sit on the sidewalk and dream that I was in France, but with the people and the cars passing by, it drove me inside. Inside, at least I got to listen to Parisian music. Once inside, everything was beautiful. There was prompt attentive service. The menu had a nice selection. Once my friend arrived, we decided I would get breakfast, and she would get lunch. I got a breakfast crêpe. She got a panini. Both were good. Actually, both were delicious. Worth doing again.
