Fantastic. For starters as soon as I walked in both of the women working were very sweet, and it smelled really good. I ordered the grilled chicken super quesadilla and it is delicious. The salsa is ok. I prefer spicy salsa. Very tomato-pastey but it is pretty good. I would most definitely recommend eating here. Prices are great. Comfortable enough too.

We love perlitas we eat there at least once a week. When are family comes from out of town that’s the first place they want to go eat. It’s a family run business but they treat you like family.

Pollo de Caldo Soup was great but then I could make it at home. We got some tacos and the meat was so-so. There was no chilé and the«salsa» was runny. I guess taco places are never the same as back home. Also, the smell of Fabuloso reeked and overpowered the smell of and any food. It actually made me nauseated. Not going here again.

This is one of my go to spots for beer, chips & salsa and tacos! This family run place is awesome and they always have a table for you.

I was just passing through. Not Too much to choose from around here. found some good reviews from Unilocal and was craving Mexican food! I wanna say I got the fajita supreme burrito and since I seen so any good reviews about the mole asked for Mole sauce instead of The regular sauce! . The service was great and although the place was small it’s very clean and overall I had a great experience. I would come back for sure

Pretty damn good!!! We were on the way back from Oregon and wasn’t sure where to stop. We read the Unilocal reviews and decided to give it a shot. Definitely worth the stop! Get the fajita supreme burrito!

After a long drive to Crescent City, we took the kids here. The«house salsa» was too spicy and runny. We ordered guacamole that had absolutely no flavor. The portions where large but the meat in both my husband’s burrito and my taco was tasteless and tough. I ordered Horchada and it was awful. I couldn’t drink it as there was about two inches of silt in the bottom of my glass. There are not a lot of options for Mexican food in Crescent City next time we will stick to seafood.

I’ve been going to this restaurant for a large part of my life and I know the family that runs it, so this review is completely biased! HOWEVER, I want travelers to know what to expect from an excellent family Mexican meal. This is not fine dining. This is not somewhere where you make an OpenTable reservation in SF or LA or NYC. This is essentially an authentic food truck meal with the bare essentials required to sit down and eat it. The prices are incredibly low and reflect this. Food is also available to go if you would prefer to take it home, for a picnic, or anywhere else. The owners are a great family and I have seen them treat countless guests(strangers and friends) just like family. Vegans: no lard in the beans here so anything can be customized without cheese/sour cream :) I recommend fish tacos, as well as their guacamole. I personally shy away from meat(other than fish) here as I’m ridiculously picky about meat quality. They also have a good selection of beer and Mexican sodas. If you feel your food needs more kick, definitely ask for some hot sauce or any additional spice your server might recommend. 5 stars as the service is great and the prices amazing(keep in mind, this is extremely casual dining).

Nothing super fancy or special. Very friendly folks that operate the place. And food serving was generous and overall very tasty Good if you’re hungry after hiking around all day and want a quick bite.

Excellent, excellent, excellent!!! We stopped here for lunch on our trek home from Oregon based on Unilocal reviews and am happy to report that we were not let down! Our lunch order consisted of two different tortas, a crispy flour taco and an order of carne asada curly fries. The tortas were superb! The crispy taco was HUGE! Filled with yummy shredded beef and fresh lettuce, pico de gallo and guac… killer! The fries were covered with melted cheese, carne asada, guac and sour cream — some of the best I’ve had in a long time. The staff was very friendly and courteous — great service! You can’t go wrong.
