So disappointing! Went to see a really cool band but left before they even started. The service and the attitude from the bartender were just so rude. Absolutely not welcoming or inviting and they both had sour pusses and bad attitudes. We walked out before the drinks were even served!

I have yet to have a bad experience here, me and my girlfriend love this place. We always tend to sit at the bar with Jenn, she’s been there since day one and she is wonderful. I always start with the Billy’s kicking shrimp which is out of this world. The chicken pesto pizza is another of my favorites runner up to the Bryube(spelling way off) Burger with the shoe string fries. The beer and wine section is always top notch and the clientele is always great and friendly. Check it out for yourself next time your in the village.

Although the service was average, the food was terrible. The steamed mussels were tough and over-cooked and the crab cakes gave me indigestion and other things. Maybe it was an off afternoon… but I would never recommend it and it is getting scratched off my list.

Really great food. Love the burgers, wings and Mac and cheese. Bartenders Erin and Dave are the best!

Been here a few times on Sunday“s and enjoyed watching football, drinks, .I brought a friend there today for lunch and was very disappointed. We sat at the bar and the place was very cold –temperature wise… I myself scanned the place for the thermostat to turn it up… did mention several times that: It sure is pretty cold in here in front of the server but wasn’t acknowledged… I got the grilled chicken Caesar salad and was never asked how my meal was but the chicken was very rubbery and couldn’t finish my meal. my friend ordered the salmon Blt — he said it was very tasty but very cheap on the salmon and the fries were like shoestring McDonald fries… MIght give this place another try on a Sunday –not sure yet.

I dined here with two of my friends. It took awhile to be waited on but we really hit a jackpot with our waitress. She was very accomodating and friendly. I think they may have just been opening for dinner service. We really just wanted to drink but decided to eat a bit. I ordered a mudslide and hog’s wings. My friends ordered wine, Jack Daniels, PEI mussels, and a salmon sandwich. They were very complimentary of their food. Also because I had a free appetizer because of checking in, I ordered us a spinach artichoke dip. Delicious!!! All of the food was great. My mudslide actually was a large glass of kahlua and crème, which was wonderful. I’m used to a mudslide being frozen, with vodka, kahlua, crème and with chocolate drizzled on the inside of the glass. It was somewhat disappointing and the reason for the 4 stars, as opposed to 5.

The service was great but the food was bland. The serving of Calamari was too small. The french fries that came with my burger seemed like they came from the supermarket freezer section. This is a good place to go have a drink or two then go eat somewhere else.

Let’s get right into it: Positive: 1. Our waitress was very nice. No complaints about service at all. 2. The french onion soup tasted great. Not too salty– just right. Cons: 1. While the french onion soup tasted great, the bread on top of it was very stale and hard to chew through. 2. The fish and chips were AWFUL. The batter was very chewy and extremely thick. Imagine a double-thick pancake on EACH side of the fish, except that pancake was left in the fridge overnight and soaked in oil. It was just awful. Thick and chewy like dough flavored bubble-gum. At one point I decided to remove the dough and just eat the fish. There was barely any fish inside at all. The filet looked big when I got it, but about 80% of it had to be the batter. When I opened the fish, I had to SCRAPE out the fish because the filet they used was so tiny. The fries were like eating McDonalds fries. Really salty, thin, and just cheap tasting. The coleslaw was also flavorless. Overall, a huge disappointment. Very weird seeing a restaurant sell wine upwards of $ 200+ right next to buffalo wings and burgers. The food itself was just not good, I don’t know what to make of this place. I came here because of a Groupon, but won’t be coming back.

Had an very good experience here… service is prompt, food is delicious… and prices are reasonable… started off with fried calamari, which was in a very tasty garlic butter sauce… for entrees I had a special… it was beef tips sautéed in Asian style reduction over white rice… had a bit of a kick to it… but very tasty… I would definitely go again…

Not just bar food — this is a hidden gem of a restaurant. Never a wait and can always count on a great tasting meal. There’s a decent selection on the menu and every item I’ve ordered so far has been without fault(the fried chicken w/mac & cheese was the best I’ve ever had). Good selection of beers on draft. So underrated … I would without a doubt recommend to anyone.

I love the completed renovations, especially the patriotic themed wall. I ordered one of my fav burgers, the berube. Still delicious… egg, bacon, cheese and onion strings on top. It was a chilly day when I came here for lunch with my dad; so he got the beef stew. He had never tried it before and said it was perfect. Still a neighborhood favorite for me.

Unilocal was very useful in helping us find a new restaurant to try. I used it to decide whether or not to buy the Groupon, to get directions to the restaurant, and to see what event was scheduled for tonight. It was good to know that there would be live entertainment this evening. The music was good(and loud) but knowing beforehand helped us pick a table further back in the restaurant where we could enjoy the show at a safe distance. This was our first visit and we definitely want to come again. We were warmly greeted by the hostess, Christine and after a short wait we were seated and served by Patty(THESELADIESAREGREAT). Okay, for my pros and cons: Pros: –warm and very attentive service(thank you again, Patty) –very accommodating to our diet needs/special requests –everything on the table was clean(I didn’t see any critters like a previous Unilocaler, but we weren’t seated by a wall either) –the band was actually really good. They performed a variety of genres and I tapped my feet all night long –our food was very tasty and well cooked –they were busy — every table and every space around the bar was full — this is a good thing Cons: –they were out of two items from the appetizer section and out of the cupcake meatloaf… on a Friday night… like, that should not happen –the music was a bit loud, but this a minor complaint. I love live music! Overall, we really had a good dining experience. I think if you come with the expectation of enjoying a nice, no frills evening out at a local establishment you’ll like it too.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Revolution tonight. I have driven past many times and was never inclined to eat here. I’m not sure if it was the name? Or maybe just the fire colored awning? It just didn’t peak my interest. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised at the comfortable atmosphere of the bar area(we like to sit at the bar usually but it was full). We split the chicken Milanese which we both thought was delicious! Perfect for a chilly, rainy night. Before leaving, we ordered some salted caramel cake to go. The cake was wonderful. Moist, light and fluffy, not too sweet. The icing was very light as well unlike a lot of places that have sickeningly sweet, dense, heavy frostings. Although it cost 7 dollars for a very small slice, I don’t regret ordering it at all. We can’t wait to go back and try some of the other lovely sounding dishes!

This is American food done right! I had the cod cakes as a starter and they hit the spot«a little spice but I like it that way». This is a place you can come and relax and have a good time. The bar is separate from the dining room so you don’t have much of a carry over so that makes it great for family or if you just want to go to the bar. The atmosphere is great and you will be welcome from the time you walk in to the time you leave. They treat you like part of their community, because you are. This is a great place to go for great food and great atmosphere. I will be going back and that’s saying a lot because there are so many places to go.

If there were a negative rating on Unilocal,I would select it. I was excited to go because our last experience had been terrible, but they had a new awning and a new name. So we thought, «Wow, great! Someone has taken over L’Attitude. Maybe it will be better this time!» Nope. How wrong we were. Why? Let’s see, was it the: a) cockroach crawling on the wall near our table during our entire meal? b) overpriced, overdone, chewy steak? c) wilted, moldy lettuce in my salad? d) complete lack of heating? e) all of the above? Needless to say, we will never be back. It turns out that the awning and name were the only things that changed. In a word? Revolting.

You know, I like good food. This place has good food. But exceptional? Idk. Depends on the order. Tonight I had Tree Hugger Chicken Parm. Second time ordering this dish. And I’m not sure if this is pink sauce, but it tastes like Chef Boyardee sauce on Spaghetti-Os. Don’t get me wrong. I enjoyed this plate completely, but I cannot change the reminiscent flavor to the magical Chef.

A friend and I came here last night for the first time. The food was good and the service was decent. We split the grilled pear salad to start, which was delicious, and the kitchen was nice enough to split it onto two plates for us, which we didn’t ask for, but was very appreciated. After that, I had margarita pizza and my dining companion got the steak sandwich, which came with french fries. The pizza was really good. It has a nice, almost crepey crust that was very light, but also very filling. I enjoyed it a lot. My friend said her steak sandwich was good, but not quite medium rare, though they way it was cooked would make it hard to get to medium rare. I don’t eat meat, so just take her word on that one. Our server was prompt with the beer refills and very attentive – except when it came time to get the check. When she brought my last drink, she had already boxed up our leftovers, and my friend had declined another beer. I told her I had a groupon, and asked if she wanted it now, or after getting the bill ready – trying to imply that it was time to get the bill ready. She said it didn’t matter, so I got it out and laid it on the table for her to grab the next time she came by. Unfortunately, she decided to wipe down all of the tables around us rather than bring us our bill. Finally, she came and got it and brought the check, but then another 10 minutes passed before she took my friend’s card and finally let us leave. By that point, I was done with my drink and we had nothing keeping us there. We just wanted to go, but couldn’t! I do not understand why waitstaff ever hesitate to bring the bill and promptly take the card at the end of the meal. All of the cleanup work she was doing could have easily been done once we were gone, and we did not need that much time to let the bill just sit with the card in it on the table. I didn’t want to have to wave the credit card at her or yell for her attention, cause that makes me super uncomfortable(I try not to be an asshole), but the card was sticking out of the check holder and at the edge of the table, which I was told in my days as a server is the universal symbol for«please run my card so I can leave». So that ended our evening on a decidedly down note. The food was good, the tap beers ample and a good variety, but for god’s sake, please be prompt with dropping the check and running cards! If I have no food or drink left, it’s time to leave the restaurant – please let me go!

Pawtuxet Village dining at it’s best! It’s easily my favorite place to eat in the village. Don’t be fooled by the name change. Same great owner serving up the great dishes were accustomed to with a few twists and some great daily specials. The tree hugger chicken parm is one of my faves, but it’s hard to go wrong! Friendly bar and wait staff that have truly become friends. Live bands some nights, and trivia night on Tuesdays. It’s always a good time and great food and drinks!

Great neighborhood spot for good eats and drinks. Plus, my steak and burgers get cooked perfectly! The Berube Burger is a must try with a nice spicy mayo, onion strings, and a fried egg on top! The Steak au poivre was very tasty! Bartenders are super friendly and the entrée specials are always thoughtfully crafted! And the floors are brand new and beautiful in the dining room!
