Haven’t been there in a long time. I grew up with this place. Ordered up, 8 all the way, the gaggers had an off taste, it was almost like the wiener brand was different. Something was way off. I guess I’ll stick with eats weiner joint. Very disappointed

The wieners went up in price but are still the best around and the waitress is great, very friendly. She jokes around with the customers and they seems to like her a lot. Definitely a place I’ll visit again!

first time food was great, prices where cheap, wieners had decent flavor
the must have gotten new owners, they don’t do the hot wieners for 99 cents anymore. the wieners didn’t have as much flavor, definitely not worth 1.65 each
a few of the prices went up
place wasn’t that clean and the walk way was loaded with ice, an elderly women almost fell along with a young boy
the blonde waitress/​worker is very friendly

Old fashioned diner experience… Known for the NY System Wieners. Backed by a decent breakfast and lunch menu. Been coming here off and on the best part of 60yrs and four or five owners and it’s essentially unchanged. Not fancy, some odd characters at times (like me, for that matter!), but good food consistently. RECOMMENDED

Food has been better since being purchased a few months ago, but it’s still just a weenie joint at the end of the day. Better for lunch than breakfast, weenie’s are on par with Olneyville and the place is clean. There ya have it. Stop in if you’re hungry and on Bullocks Point on your way to the Carousel, but there’s no point making a day out of it.

A nice surprise while traveling through Riverside. Walk in to this New York System style grill and revisit the «50“s. Great breakfast menu with some unusual surprises. Linguica omelet anyone? Coney Island Hot Weiners are just right with meat sauce, onion and even celery salt. Open daily until 3PM except Thursday, when the Hot Weiners are 99 cents, and Friday for the best fish and chips around. Friday also has clam cakes, clam strips, stuffed quohogs, red and white chowder, you get the idea. Both those days they stay open until 7PM. The dinner special on a recent stop was American chop suey, a most comforting comfort food. Add a large coffee milk and your good to go. Very friendly staff, too. Closed Sundays.
