Bad, horrible, food order always messed up. Plenty of phở places in the area, pick another one!

I was eating and a cockroach was cooling on a wall. I showed a server he just killed it and smiled.

Had a large bowl of oxtail phở with some tempura shrimp. Filled my family of four plus brought home leftovers. Very friendly staff with smiles! Thanks for the great service!

No real complaints. The fresh spring roll was above average and filled with a good amount of prawn. The peanut sauce was standard, which is a good thing. The large bowl of phở will certainly fill you up. The broth was good and the meat was average. They have the usual amount of hot sauce or teriyaki sauce with the spoons on every table. The inside is nice and the service was good. House of Phở is a tier higher than the standard phở joints.

Cold, old pork served with noodles, fresh lettuce and bean sprouts with soggy carrots on top. This was our dinner for 30 $ because they accidentally gave and charged us for an extra two egg rolls — which was apparently a good thing, because my daughter wasn’t having it cold from her dads plate and REALLY didn’t like my microwaved plate. To be honest, I don’t blame her. The microwave made it even worse because it really seemed like the pork was on a hot plate for several hours, and the microwave warmed it back up, but gave it that dry left over taste. Super bummed for how much we paid.

So I found this place that finally had good reviews and decided to try it. I’ve been feeling a little sick and Phở always makes me feel better. I walk in and take a seat and the cashier walks up and ask me if its for hear or Togo? I say here and he then informs me that there is no here at this time. Umm, what?!? Meanwhile there is four different tables eating and two that received there food while I’ve been waiting for my phở. He tells me that they don’t do here orders after a certain time. It would have been nice to have that noted some where. I understand that they close in 40 minutes and want to get home to there family’s. I’ve never had any phở place that I’ve gone to tell me that they don’t do hear orders after a certain time. Even the places that stay open until 1 am do orders up until they close in the restaurant. They could have put up a sign but then that would cut there business. Oh well, that’s the price you pay. I don’t think I’ll be back to this location I love 10 min away and I’ll just drive to the place in federal way I normally go to. Thanks but no thank you

I haven’t had anything here but their phở and bubble tea and it’s delicious! There’s more meat in my phở then I’ve gotten at most other places and the large size can really fill you for two meals! They’re bubble tea isn’t the healthiest, and tastes pretty sugary but I really love it. It’s a great desert treat to have and they put plenty of tapioca in which is great because at most other places I generally ask for extra tapioca.

Favorite place around here for phở and bubble tea. Place is always clean and staff is nice but not very talkative. Service is always pretty quick. I always get the fired tofu phở with beef broth and the Taro bubble tea. My hubby likes other dishes they offer there too. I’ve tried them myself, and they have been good. On rainy days that I want phở, this is where I go!

House of Phở is my first review. I should of realize the lack of cleanliness, when the front door windows are not even Windex when it was as slow as it was. The Grilled Pork Vietnamese Sandwich was one of the worst sandwich experience, I ever had. The meat was dry flavorless, but worst of all had that refrigerated taste that would not leave my mouth. I honestly can eat almost anything, but the sandwich meat was repulsive. I will never order one again from this place, the meat was not even grilled, if at all. The phở wasn’t bad, except my broth was luke warm, I like my broth very hot, where I have to slowly sip it. Phở places are fairly similar to me, some places a little better than other’s, but overall the same taste. I’m not sure, if I’m going back again, but this won’t be my first choice for a Phở place, if need be.

House of Phở has been open for a couple of years now and our office has been getting take out form them since they opened. At first the food was fresh and healthy portions. But lately it seems the quality has been going down hill as well as the portions. Now they have just raised their prices and the quality is down even more. Today I had a pork Banh Mi’s and two fresh rolls. The bread for the sandwich was so hard, I am sure they had to use an electric knife to cut it. If it is that hard to cut, just think about the customer and how hard they had to work at just taking a bite of it. The pork was dry and there was no sauce at all. So disappointed. The fresh rolls should have been called yesterdays rolls as that is what they tasted like. The shrimp was overcooked and I could see the sand vein in one still. The sprouts tasted like dirt. Again so disappointing. The saddest thing is that last Friday(today is Monday) I also had food from there and I ordered chicken Pad Thai. It came in a big blob all stuck together. The flavor was way off and I only ate a few bites and threw it away. I thought for sure it was a fluke but after today I am convinced that they are just not the quality place they used to be. Good thing Wendy’s is right next door! I hope they get it together and put out a quality product like they used to. Covington needs a good Phở house.

House of Phở is one of the better phở restaurants in the area. It is our preffered Phở restaurant in the South End area. The phở bowls are always hot and the portions are decent. I have only had the Phở here, although there are other Vietnamese rice entrees you can order. The staff at House of Phở are very friendly and have always treated us well. Good to have a good Vietnamese Phở restaurant in the area close to Maple Valley. I definitely recommend this place.

Phở was pretty good with generous amounts of meat. Banh Mi’s were a total miss though with barely there flavor and hard bread. Servers were great and very attentive.

Best phó I’ve had. Fresh, delicious, nice atmosphere. Great for rainy day in seattle. Lol. Wish they had little instructions for new people on how to properly eat phó. But food is great.

I came here with a friend. We were greeted as we walked in. We sit down and she brings us menus and water. We place our order of beef phở. When she came back she didnt know which order was whos and had to run to the back to find out. But anyway as for the taste of the broth, it wasn’t the best but not the worst. They should definitely let the broth simmer a few more hours to get the most flavor. I’d come here over the phở place across the street.

I’ll have to say I came here for the good reviews. I ordered the regular beef Phò and considering most Phò places the meat portions were small. Maybe only 4 or 5 pieces. The broth was a little salty to my taste which is a bummer since I usually like to add hoisin sauce. I’d give this place another try but maybe something else than the Phò. Clean and fast service. The server wasn’t too informative when I asked him the difference between marble brisket and regular brisket but I won’t hold that against them. They play peaceful oriental music but also have a TV. Booths, tables and good for groups. Come and see(and eat) for yourself!

My teammate and I were cheer squads for Lake Meridian Tri. After a few hours of cheering and picture taking, we were all hungry and tired. And, we found this place in Covington. It’s in a small plaza near Fred Myer. Parking is limited but fortunately there’s enough turnover that you can actually get a spot. The restaurant itself is clean and neat. The bathroom isn’t too bad either. We both ordered one of those all-in-one phở noodle soup. I enjoyed the hot soup. However, I feel the noodles were a bit under cooked! Though, their fresh rolls and peanut sauce were pretty good! I am not sure when I will visit again since I don’t really live in the area anymore. But, it’s definitely an option if I ever end up in the area!

Server was extremely nice. She was able to bring out what I’ve requested aside from my order. Happy camper lol =) There’s a group of people that runs this place sitting in a corner, talking about politics, kind of loud. Pretty disturbing actually. Other than that, the soup is decent. Not the best I’ve ever had.
