I decided to try the Covington Family Dentistry for my dental care because they were within walking distance of my office. My first contact(phone) with the staff was a friendly and professional experience. I was not rushed or put on hold and given all the time I needed to «explain» myself. The appointment availabilities were flexible and able to accommodate my work schedule. Upon arrival for my first visit the staff was welcoming and although I was a little uncomfortable the hygienist put me at ease with her friendly manner, her step by step explanations of what she was doing before she did it AND she did not ask me questions while her hands were in my mouth!. Dr. Deno was informative explained in detail his recommendations for treatment and I never felt like he was rushing to move on to the next patient. I was given an estimate for recommendations with the cost clearly listed. All and all this was a great experience, to interact with a team of professionals who get my weird sense of humor is very rare and enjoyable. I would recommend them

I’ve been coming to Covington Family Dentistry for many, many years. I recently moved to Graham but will continue to come here because of the high level of care provided. The entire team is caring and professional. They know my needs and address them, including my anxiety about dental work and some sensitivity issues. They’re flexible in scheduling, with morning, evening, and Saturday appointments to fit my challenging schedule. I can’t imagine going anywhere else for my care!

This dentist is not nice people!!! I went to this Dentist because they have weekend and night so I transfer all my family there. They always worry about payment so they always ask for payment up front before appt. This is fine that way I could decide what I should do or save up to do. At the beginning of the year I would like some crowns done. I have 2 insurance and ask the receptionist or billing lady to check out what is being cover. I had a called back from them and she stated that I can set up my appt. She told me that everything would be cover and I should start my appt now. So I did. But after everything is done I received bills and statement from my primary insurance stated that the claims are being deny. I have been calling both insurance and dentist wondering what is going on. My second insurance pays but my primary wouldn’t. I got information from my insurance that they had told the dentist that called in the beginning of the year that it would be cover but we had to wait until the 6 month probation is over since I just got the insurance. I call the dentist telling them why wasn’t that communicate to me before telling me to make the appt. I spoke with Debbie and she told me in a mean way that the insurance did tell them but it not their responsibly to communicate to me since they have six people in the office. She was talking very fast knowing that it was wrong for them to do that. She had stated that she will send me to collection for 1800.00. She didn’t even apologize. I understand it wasn’t their responsibly but they did offer to called both the insurance so I don’t get stuck with the bill and at the end they change their tune and make it seem that they are not a customer service place and it not their fault. I rate this place very bad because they give false advertising.
