This place was closed, but I guess it reopened. I went here once with my husband and we never returned. We actually didn’t even finish our food. We left and we’re so grossed out we didn’t even want to complain. We just wanted to get out of there. The vibe was retro/old school. The person at the register was not friendly. Our waitress was off, and I saw her picking her teeth while waiting for food to be ready, then use the same hand to deliver the plate of food to customers. It was the worst experience I’ve had at a Sizzler.

Please don’t ever think about closing the Covina Sizzlers! Their steaks little or large are the best! Salad bar is consistently delicious!

On 11÷10÷15 @ around 12:18 P.M. myself, my friend and his mom arrived for lunch. We all ordered the steak and shrimp. My friend and myself ordered 8 ounce steak, while his mom ordered the 6 ounce steak. I must say that the manager that operated the register and handled the customers had absolutely no people skills or customer relations whatsoever. No smile, no friendly face, and looked like he was miserable and hated to be there. Also, he should be wearing a name tag and put his name on the bottom of the receipt so we know who to compliment or complain about. It just says manager for the person helping me. You can hire anyone off the street to ring up an order with a miserable face and attitude like that. There’s plenty of people so anxious to have a job like that and be super happy that they just get a paycheck. Enough said! FOOD: Baked potato was perfect, nice and hot and buttery. The shrimp with butter and my squeezed lemon on top of rice was perfect. Kudos to the chef. Steak was a little itsy bitsy tiny little skinny scroungy laughable overpriced pathetic looking piece of meat.(so called 8 ounce steak) Yeaaah right??? Wish I had a scale. Maybe someone ate half. The waitress Monique on the other hand was very cheerful and pleasant and handled our table excellent with great professional customer service.

Service is excellent. It got 3 stars because of it. It’s also never crowded if you go during the week. However, as with other Sizzler places, the salad bar menu is always the same(spaghetti, tacos, usual veggies). But if you’re hungry and it’s on your way, it serves it’s purpose. I always like munching on their cheese bread!

Love the food here. I always get the steak with unlimited shrimp. They got the best bread! The restaurant is inviting and great for families.

I’ll have to admit, I’ve always hated Sizzler… Until my last visit. What changed? My order: the burger. If I were to rate this on the burger alone, it would be a solid 4.5 for me. Cooked medium, nice patty, all the fixin’s, and ask for a side of guac for free. Good fried to boot. Also, the clam chowder is amazing, and so is the beef vegetable. Now, the rest of the restaurant is mediocre. Salad bar is a bit of a novelty, and the décor/ambiance is dreadful. It’s dang cold in there too. Just sit by the window, have a meal, and look outside; I promise it will be a totally pleasant experience.

I can’t even think of a reason for a star except… um I’m nice? Really cold meatballs??? fried chicken which I would think is really fried and fryers are usually hot right? Or is it not even fried. Who the hell knows! It was freezing and just after they put out a fresh batch. And I could throw the blueberry muffin through a window if you wanted to because it’s that’s hard and not edible. Not to mention no butter for muffins or rolls unless you ask? What kind of shit is that? Let’s see we also never got a refill on our drinks once and I had to tell The waitress about the food and she said oh we’ll heat it up. Not oh I’m so sorry is anything else wrong? Can I get you a new water? Refills? More plates? Napkins? She was walking around the salad bar just wiping it down 500 times. I finally told the manager that for my wife and I and our 4 year old we just paid $ 35.00 plus a $ 5 tip which we would normally leave if things weren’t so shitty for Cold food, no refills, horrible service, and a waitress would needs to work at a car wash as much as she wipes and doesn’t serve! Done with this location and sizzler better get their shit together or they’ll be outta business! I would of rather ate at Taco Bell for $ 10 for my wife and I and our son, at least they’re consistent on their food temp and quality!!! Oh we got a free coupon to come back for 2 free salad bars. Who the hell would go back??? Lol

Nice waitress but the food is not the greatest. This restaurant looks really old and run down. The soup tasted to watery the salad was to stale like and don’t even get me started on the self serve ice cream that was splattered all over the machine as well as the cone being stale. Lots of things need to be changed!!!

Here is another Sizzler with great service and a nice salad bar. They’re a clean restaurant and the manager does his best to make you feel like a guest. The salad bar was well stocked and they stocked foods frequently. Great location and ample parking.

I still love going to sizzlers after all these years. I used to go as a kid with my parents and order the steak and shrimp, and 20 years later I still order the same plate. All you can eat is the best here and I also love the garlic bread. The service is great here, not too busy and theres lots of parking to go around.

Went to take my parents for a Sunday dinner at Sizzler in Covina on Citrus Ave. Worst mistake ever!!! The salad bar was horrible, the soup selection looked like the soup was lukewarm, old and gooey which made it look not at all appetizing. The tortilla chips were stale, the ice cream cones were also stale. The lemon chicken was tough and chewy. The chicken wings were soggy, the waitress wasn’t anywhere to be found and had to be flagged down. Coffee was like mud and took forever to flag down the waitress to get any kind of refill. My mom went to use the women bathroom and it so needed to be cleaned. If you want to take your parents to a nice Sunday dinner, DONOT take them to this Sizzler!!!

Had an early dinner. Wasn’t busy now I know why. Ordered the 12oz New York steak 7oz were good the other 5oz shouldn’t have even been on that steak. It was 5oz of fat. Service was awful. No offers on refills no straws no extra napkins. Not going back.

I say this restaurant is a great place to stop for a quick bite to eat. I’ve been there a few times lately. I take a class in Covina and stop for a quick meal on the way. The food is always good… I’ve always liked the salad bar. A good one is really hard to find nowdays… one that constantly has fresh food, and is restocked when needed. …and the service… the young man that waits tables is far better than most servers we have ever had anywhere… makes sure you have what you want, and keeps checking back. The restaurant is very clean compared to many others in its class. Not gourmet food, no, but great quality steaks, some good sides, and you shouldn’t go away hungry!!!

Saturday dinner service was excellent. It’s not the most expansive menu, but they do it well. Kudos to the cooks!

I usually go to the Sizzler’s that is near my house but I was in the area that night & so we decided to go eat. The salad bar is tiny, the food was cold & old and we waited for a long time just to eat our ketchup, and cheese bread. There were only 3 other tables in there at the time. I won’t be going back to this particular one.

I’ll be the first to admit I’m the furthest thing from a gourmet. I like food and a lot of it. And like a siren’s song, Sizzler’s steak and all-you-can-eat shrimp beckons to me. Sure, the steak isn’t the best in the world, but I do appreciate eating as many shrimp as I can jam into my piehole. This particular location had great customer service, from the cashier to the waitress. Even though our waitress was slammed, she still made it a point to stop by to make sure that I had enough shrimp to eat, ensuring that my cholestrol never dipped below 300 while I was there, which is a big thumbs up in my book.
