I’ve never had a problem at this location, but I’ve also never ordered cakes. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. I usually just order a basic single scoop with a cone. Sometimes the portions are generous. I’ve never had issues with the ice cream being melted. There’s plenty of parking on the street or the parking garage about a ½ block down.

I have ordered birthday cakes at this location before… with no problems in the past. I ordered my son’s 8th birthday cake a week in advance, nothing difficult. Just strawberry ice cream and white cake… custom colors of piping and lettering. I asked that the cake be ready on new years eve 2015 at 3pm. I even called at noon to make sure the cake would be ready at 3pm, after ordering a week in advance. At 3pm on new years eve, my cake was not ready. Huge disappointment. I was asked to return at 5pm. Are you kidding me? Hell no… I paid for a custom cake a week ago for a certain time frame… and now you want me to return in two hours… Then they offer me another cake, When I paid extra to customize my cake. I will never return to this location to spend my money. I will now go to the 31 flavors by West Covina mall. This place dropped the ball, now I’m dropping them. Thanks for sending me somewhere else to spend my money. I got my money back and bought my cake at the other location.

First when we arrived there was no parking. The parking area was so small you cannot get a large truck in there. So my husband dropped me off in front and waited around the corner to pick me up. When I went in I noticed all the ice cream was melted and mushy. I questioned the worker and she said that they’d leave the ice cream out because it’s too hard to scoop. It looked disgusting and it could possibly be spoiled it was that melted. I think the employees at this location are extremely lazy and I’m surprise the owner puts up with that. I suggest you find another Baskin-Robbins with employees that are not lazy and are willing to scoop firm ice cream. I left and went to Rite aid to get ice cream.

Whoa! I should have checked Unilocal BEFORE going and wasting 20 minutes to be helped plus an additional 15 minutes to complete my purchase! How can there be 3 staff members helping 1 person and leaving the other potential clients standing around. These staff members must be under surveillance by the owner 24⁄7. I was in there today and the client in front of me tried to use a coupon, which again, took ALLTHREEOFTHEM to figure out before they finally said they wouldn’t honor it because they«didn’t want to get in trouble» then, just like magic there was a phone call inquiring about the situation which gave the OK the honor the coupon. It seems like instead of providing superb customer service, and enjoying their job, these girls live in fear of being reprimanded(or maybe accused of theft? Who knows) by the owner/operator who is likely sitting at home on a very busy Sunday watching the goings on of their store instead of stopping by, introducing themselves to customers, helping to relieve the back up of customers abc keep the flow running smoothly! Also, how about 2 registers?(Maybe one for pre-packs and cakes only, that can also be utilized as a back up line for major credit cards only when it gets really busy) Now a days, it’s as easy as using a mini tablet or a smart phone and the funds go directly into the owners account! There’s no need to wait 30 minutes plus from when you walk in, to when you complete your purchase. So that the main thing the owner should work on, in addition to getting more trustworthy employees since obviously the ones they have how need to be under surveillance at all times(yes, it’s sarcasm)

This Baskin Robbins on College Ave. is the best. The people who work here have never let me down when it comes to the scoops they serve up. They are very friendly and always serve with a smile. Avoid the one on Grand Ave. and Cienega! They serve up kids’ size scoops and charge regular price. Rude workers there, too! At least the ones I have encountered. It never used to be that way.

i travel everywhere just go get my favorite ice cream at Baskin Robbins. but this location service was the WORST. i asked for a single scoop and the girl gave me a half scoop because the ice cream was frozen and she couldn’t even scoop out properly from the container. i hope the management reads it because they just lost business from my family.

I love Baskin Robbins, but do not come to this location I purchased ice cream for the family and when it came time for my order I asked for a banana split in a cup… Most other locations allow this because it’s impossible to drive without the banana split boat spilling all over yourself and your vehicle… The young girl refused to sell me the banana split in a cup and questioned whether or not I have had it that way at that location before… I told her that I have, she stared at me until I decided to just pay for what I have so I can go to the Baskin Robbins on Grand Avenue location The young lady on Grand was working by herself and she was extremely pleasant… i Recommend you go see Shadei at the Grand Avenue location instead.

This place has been here for a long time. The friendliness of the staff is hot or miss. Which is not good, but the ice cream does the job and it’s close by to me. The parking is on the street or in the back but since it’s near the post office sometimes the parking is bad. The place is real small inside

So my husband and I decided to take the kids for some ice cream and as soon as we walked in shes already asking me what I want I mean can we get a minute. I asked her to try a new flavor and she had this look on her face as if I was bothering her. I was sooo mad because we come there for the experience and she was soo rude I’m not going back to this baskin robins.

Thought I would give this place another shot after I came here and had horrible customer service. Nothing has changed both girls working were rude short and just not polite at all. They must hate their job because it shows a lot in their attitude. Manager should fire these girls and replace them with someone more polite. I am not a picky dude when it comes to service but these girls really get under my skin with how they treat you.

Went in Friday night 3⁄14 and ordered a sundae, asked for Oreos in it and the girl forgot to include it, she also put way too much chocolate fudge which was just overwhelming. I always come to this location and the two last times this Asian girl has this disturbing attitude. Unhappy with her service !!

The ice cream and ice cream cakes are amazing(that’s why I gave it at least one star). But it’s not like the employees are making ice cream from scratch in store right? They are there to provide excellent customer service, but even that is too below them. We came here because we ordered an ice cream birthday cake for pick up at 3pm(we put in the order two days prior). We drove about 5 miles and arrived at 3:10 to face disappointment. They said, «No, actually it will be ready at 4pm», insisted my colleague misheard the pickup time and did not even apologize for the miscommunication. They even asked us «Do you still want the cake?», as if they were hoping we could relieve this«burden» off them. OFCOURSE we want the cake. What were we supposed to do until then? My colleague and I had to wander around the streets in the hot sun and check out some stores for about half an hour before we came back. What a waste of company time! In addition, my colleague had called a few times earlier the same day to confirm the pickup time, but she told me that every time she tried to call, the employees would pick up and set the phone down, and my colleague could hear them working but no one would answer the phone. When my colleague brought this up to the girl at the counter, all she did was shrug and say«I don’t know. We’ve been here all day». Very unprofessional; I even noticed that she rolled her eyes at my colleague when she expressed her disappointment in the new pickup time. The cake(see picture below) was so plain and we had to ASK for sprinkles. The girl hesitated by saying, «Oh, since we just made it, I’m not too sure it will stick.» but in my mind, I was thinking, DUH the cake will melt so it WILL eventually stick! Good luck getting a better job with that attitude!!! I feared that they would spit in our cake. But $ 42 for an ice cream cake served by bitter employees? We’re not coming back here again.

They charged me for ONE cherry. Really? Not great if you want to keep your customers. We’ve been to many of the Baskin-Robbins in the area and we’ve never been charged extra for one cherry(my 5 year old likes one on his ice cream cone). The young girl also left the store to talk on her cell phone while there were customers in the store. Not the best costumer service.

Usually go here once in a couple months or so. Have always had a pleasant experience, but one of the guy employees there last night started being very cheap with the toppings. A man and his child went for an ice cream and hardly put any toppings. When the customer asked if he could please get a little more, the employee said«not for free and I’d have to charge you.» Next, my gf goes up and the same guy barely puts any toppings on hers; she asks for a little more and gets the same sarcastic response. Not cool, at all!

This is my usual stop whenever my mom or sib’s bdays are coming up, I love getting ice cream birthday cakes with a $ 3 off q. Yeah, that’s def. the way to go, plus they’re just so delish. Oreo/cookies n cream or vanilla ice cream with a chocolate cake on the bottom. I hide the cake in our freezer and it’s always a nice soiprise. Located in downtown Covina, across the street from the library and post office, and there’s usually a nice parking spot right in front on the street(big enough for two cars unless someone decides to double park). It gets most busy on hot summer days and whenev they have the $ 0.31 scoop night. I picked up a chocolate blast today since I had a q for a small blast for $ 1.99. Wutta deal! I was happy that it had the right taste and flavor(since the last blast I got in San Gabriel was like drinking regular milk), but the girl didn’t blend it long enough and I was sucking up ice chunks, which you don’t want to ever do while drinking a blast, especially on a rainy day. Next time, I will ask them to blend it extra long, though they should know better if they went to the BR Academy. They must have slept through the blast making class. This was the first time I got a bad blast from this location so I’m still a fan!
