Stopped here for breakfast on a road trip. Service was great, restaurant was clean, and the food was good.

Stopped in for coffee last night, decided to order something sweet so I tried the blackberry cake with ice cream. Terrible, the cake was not even cooked through. Never again.

Waited forever! When another person in our party went up to ask how long it would be the«gentleman»(being generous here) said that he wouldn’t know and that he can’t kick people out of their seats. Rude! Then a nice waitress(ours) said she had a table opening up in a min. We were seated(at a dirty table) by the man, and he did one single swipe with a dirty looking cloth leaving food and other ick on the table. Gross! We ordered, got what we ordered. I got french toast, I couldn’t get the giant ball of fake butter off them fast enough. Scrambled eggs were so bad I couldn’t eat them. Gross! Ate enough of the greasy mess that I could stand, paid and left. This place is gross and the blond guy is rude. At least our waitress was nice. We tipped her well she needs it to put up with this place. Again, gross!

First thing I have to say: bot flies. Bot flies are indicative of unsanitary cleaning procedures, since they are attracted to rotting things. This location should do a really deep cleaning of everything in the kitchen. We went in around two in the afternoon and there was only one waitress working. She seemed to have a handle on things though and was extremely nice and professional. I think her name was Caitlin? The food was awesome. Everything was perfectly cooked and arranged on the plates in a pleasing way. Clearly, the kitchen staff knows what they’re doing. Minus one star for the restrictive vegetarian-unfriendly menu(which I realize isn’t this location’s fault, since they can’t control the menu) and the bot fly problem.

You’re awesome. To bad your coffee always taste like crap. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I don’t get it. Denny’s is a diner. Coffee is important. Besides that, I love it.

Excellent breakfast spot, I like their loaded veggie omelette which is filling and healthy. Service is professional and quick, and the place is spotlessly maintained. I typically don’t like Denny’s but this diner is the exception to the rule.

Corporate. I don’t think I’ve ever eaten anything but breakfast foods here. Prices are good. Food is always good and hot. Not a fan of the coffee.

We’ve been waiting an hour and half for our food. The food was cold and uninspiring. If I could give it no stars I would.

Late night after hitting the bars in Providence? Hit up this Denny’s and sop up the liquor! This place is on point and exactly what you would expect from Denny’s, fast, cheap, consistent comfort food that will sober you up and prevent that next morning hang over. Service was extremely fast and friendly and besides a couple of loud employees having some off the clock milkshakes the atmosphere was great. I love seeing these Denny’s that still look like old diners, it really adds a little something to the experience.

Classic Denny’s diner, from the outside in designed like the diners of yesterday. The service staff was friendly and the place was clean and the food is good. Great place for a meal anytime of day.

Why can’t they give us an option of no stars? The WORST place to eat. We stopped here with two small children. Upon being seated, I asked the waitress if they had peanut butter. Our three year old wanted a peanut butter sandwich. She replied that they did. I placed his order and she said they didn’t make peanut butter sandwiches. I said I had asked if they had peanut butter and was told that they did. She said, «you asked if we had peanut butter, Not if we had peanut butter sandwiches». She said we could order a side of peanut butter and a side of toast to make our own sandwich. We took her suggestion and ordered, but requested that she not toast the bread, just bring us the plain white bread, which was apparently too much for her to handle, because she brought bread that was toasted just enough to make it feel like stale bread, but not quite toast. When she returned with the three adults meals(all three meals were horrible, example– brown lettuce in the salad, burnt fish and cold fries) I asked for the side of peanut butter that she had forgotten. She then decided to tell us that they didn’t have any peanut butter, and that«everybody didn’t tell her». Two of the three adult meals were so bad, that we left most of he food on the plate. Apparently it is not unusual for the diners to leave most of the meal as trash, because the waitress or the manager questioned why we didn’t eat the food. We are not from this region, but there MUST be a place to get a decent meal in this area.

I think that Denny’s is one of the best in RI! I have never been there when I was not satisfied with the service and the food. Excellent! If you’re looking for a hearty meal and not costing an arm and a leg, this is the place to go. And, with your AARP card you get 15% off the entire meal!

It is amazing how different two visits can be. We went here back in May and it was excellent. Food was good, service was good. We went here for dinner tonight and it was like a totally different restaurant. We were seated by a host who was like a zombie, it was apparent he had no interest in being there. The zombie theme continued when our waitress(Caitlin) came to our table. I only knew her name cause I had to look. She didn’t introduce herself when she came to the table, just asked if she could start us with drinks. She came back with the drinks and we ordered. My daughter ordered a Sampler off the app menu, my husband ordered an Avocado burger, and I ordered the French toast slam. I even pointed to it on the menu when I ordered. Too bad that isn’t what I got. I shoulda known when she asked if I wanted hash browns(that didn’t come with the meal) that something wasn’t going to be right. What she brought me was one slice of French toast(cut in half, eggs, sausage and hash browns aka the French Toast breakfast for $ 6 not the Slam, which was $ 8.99. I pointed it out to her when she came by and said there were supposed to be two pieces of French toast, she said that’s the breakfast, and I said but I ordered the Slam. She did offer to bring another slice of French toast, but I told her I was all set just wanted to let her know it isn’t what I ordered. She brought it anyway. By this time I had pretty much lost my appetite because a fruit fly had landed on my plate and got stuck in the syrup(no joke). I did take a couple of bites of the extra slice of French toast(it was on a separate plate) but all you could taste was the grill and all the other food that was cooked on it. Nauseating. My daughter had quesadillas as part of her Sampler and she literally had to hold them up to the light to see the cheese cause there was that little of it in them. My husband said his burger was good, but the fries weren’t. Besides the food, the waitress has zero personality like I said, zombie. When she brought the drinks, my daughter(we did too) said thank you, no acknowledgement. She brought the food, same deal. I left her 15%, I really wanted to leave her 10% and if I had known she didn’t like the tip(husband saw her expression as she cleaned the table through the window while he was waiting for me in the car) I would have. 15% was generous for the service we received. Finally when I went to pay the bill, the same guy who sat us gave me a marker to sign the card authorization with. A MARKER! I suppose it could have been worse and been a crayon. I told him I was getting a pen in my wallet cause I wasn’t signing it in marker, he said yeah I don’t have a pen around. Really? I just shook my head and laughed. He didn’t like that. Denny’s in Coventry is hit or miss and this meal was definitely a miss.

I haven’t been to Denny’s in a long time, my boyfriend and I decided to go there for dinner, we at a double cheese burger it was so greasy and delish, I will be going back there again soon. Also, our waitress was very polite and she was a bit funny in a good way

Well, okay. It’s a Denny’s. Still it’s open 24 hours and that’s not something you find much anymore in RI. Sometimes the food is great here, sometimes it’s just okay. It depends on when you are there or how busy it is. I’ve found most Denny’s and places like IHOPs and all are usually that way. Tonight it was one of the very few places we could get some grub. And that’s what we were expecting. We were surprised at what Denny’s is now offering. The Create Your Own Burger: choose a burger(I got turkey,) choose a bun(I got wheat,) and burger toppings(yep I got lettuce, tomato and red onion,) you can get more, even«premium» ones. They have other choose your own options for the Grand Slam and Omletes too. These are great! You can select decadent, nutritious or anything in between. We also ordered the Avocado BLT. One of the other excellent things Denny’s has done is that they’ve added vegetables with a dip and fruit(plain, no syrup,) as sides. I mean I do love that horrid diner food. Eggs, bacon, sausages, hash browns, biscuits, home fries, pancakes and french toast. There should be a polka song with those lyrics. Still having healthy options makes it much easier to eat out and choose something that won’t leave your stomach holding a bowling ball or washing with acid.

I’ve always loved this Denny’s. The service is always good and the food is Denny’s which is obviously bomb. They have the best chocolate shakes and the burgers are so big and delicious. I don’t know if all Denny’s are 24 hours but this one is which is convenient. I don’t recommend eating in past 3 am because it’s just a shit show in there. Great breakfast huge portions decent prices and they do take-out.not too bad.

Great place to go for some greasy diner food. Staff is always nice, food is decent and comes out quick. The only downside to a Dennys restaurant is the clientele that comes in after hours. Usually there is at least one group that’s disruptive… but hey it’s a Dennys. The only thing you need to realize is that sometimes you’re PART of the group that is disruptive and not to worry about other people.
