I went on a Monday specifically to try the Korean BBQ burrito after hearing good things about it. I had never been to this place before and because it is so small it was a bit hard to find. However, «The Deli» definitely lived up to expectations. The service was great(the guy and the woman who I assume is his wife are very nice), the portions were generous, the food tasted great, and the prices were affordable. The only downside to this place is that it closes pretty early. I definitely see myself coming back though.

I only come here for their amazing korean bbq burrito/bowls. The burrito itself ill give you food coma so beware if you’re coming back to work after. Has korean bbq beef, rice and cheese inside the burrito and is a size of someones head. Con about this place is that if you do a phone order. they won’t make it until you actually arrive. I’m trying to save time, but I’m just going to assume someone ordered and never showed up.

I ABSOLUTELYLOVETHEDELI!!! Good sized portions and easy on the wallet! I was at the deli literally every other day while I was pregnant. They baby loved their veggie sandwich! ;) This is a great place for vegetarians. I usually dont get a lot of options at other places, but their vegitarian sandwich, egg salad sandwich, grilled cheese, veggie tray, macaroni salad, egg salad and PB&J are ALL great!!! Highly recomended! This is def a great spot!

It’s good, I ate it. I had the Turkey sandwich, some chips a water and a soda. Very good customer service, attentive and concerned with your comfort. I ate it in the patios, very convenient location, especially for the surrounding business suites, this is suit 125. I would come here often, if I were in the area more often. Relaxing spot considering the business environment.

Small place but large portions. The few employees are always super nice and greet you. It’s a great place to grab a quick bite. Stick to the sandwiches and the daily specials and you will enjoy it! My favorite is the chicken curry!

«Welcome To» The Deli, the best kept secret in Costa Mesa! Incredible breakfast burritos(pro tip: ask for hash browns in them), daily lunch specials that are never disappointing and always interesting, a big standard menu, and tons of great snacks(including fresh cut fruit) and drinks to help get you through your day amongst the surrounding office spaces. The owners couldn’t be nicer nor harder workers. I love going here even just for the enthusiastic«good morning good morning!“s you get when you walk in!

I love that the Deli doesn’t hold back on the ingredients. When I order a sandwich at Subway, they literally weigh and count how many pickles they put on my sandwich. Keep in mind that you get charged .60 when you use your debit/credit card. I’ll be coming back again… just bringing cash next time.

Great local spot in the middle of corporate«Office Space» hell! Sweet(assuming) family run deli, with a menu that will satisfy pretty much every possible craving you might have. Lots of regulars frequent this place, you can tell by how they’re greeted and their orders are already being worked on. When I sway from my usual turkey/avocado sandwich, I really like to test out their daily specials — chili cheese dogs, beef stew, or whatever else they’ve conjured up, they’ve all been yummy! Food has just enough flavor to know it didn’t come from a box/bag, or if it did, they’ve taken the time to actually make it take good! Prices are very reasonable, and the portions are great for a non-food-coma-induced lunch. I also appreciate how they’ve upped their drink and chips game — they offer the typical makes/models of course, but also including lesser known brands/flavors for when you’re feeling fancy or adventurous. There’s also tons of of snacks, cookies, etc. I’ve never tried their coffee, but they have it! All in all, I would recommend this spot :)

Was driving in the area and starving, so Unilocaled this spot. It is a tiny shoebox of a place, packed with goodies. It is a family run place(a daughter with her parents I believe). They have the usual café options of sandwiches, soups and salads at very fair prices, $ 5 or under for the most part. They also have daily specials which have previously been mentioned. Today’s happened to be a Rueben sandwich, which is one of my favs, so I obviously ordered this. The meat didn’t seem to be the highest quality but the bread was grilled perfectly. I would try any special or sandwich that can come grilled. This place is really more like a convenience store.. . they have snack food, chips, cookies, fresh fruit, drinks galore, gum, 5 hour energy, candy, advil. .. you catch my drift. I am all for supporting local and would recommend doing so if you are walking vicinity but wouldn’t go out of my way to pop in otherwise.

If you want to add a bit of sweetness to your sandwich, get the squaw bread. Not too thick and just the perfect touch to top off your lunch!

I thought the tuna sandwich here was a-ok. It was on the smaller side, but it was also dense… and very cheap. They also sell hot dogs which I think is funny and random. Chili cheese dog was pretty standard thin wiener but was probably worth the $ 2 or so I paid for it.

This is a small Korean mom and pop deli. This review is after my first try here and I ordered the pastrami on rye sandwich. All I can say after eating it is: «I want to have 10 more now!» They also have an outdoor patio eating area, but that’s it. It was about $ 4.50 for the sandwich alone and it was a good size. So, not too bad. I would definitely come back Ps: The«mom» is super nice and funny and the map image is wrong! When you make a left or right Mccormick, it will be on your right hand side before you hit the pullman corner.

I LOVETHEDELI!!! The owners are the nicest people in the world — always smiling, greeting customers by their first name, and always eager to serve. The food is absolutely deelish. I always post my food pictures on facebook and everyone wants to know where i got it. The specials are great — my name and number is on the wall for the korean specials(bulgogi, korean bbq pork, and the bbq pork burrito). Absolutely divine. Did i mention that what ever you order is always oversized and packed to the brim? Yumm**

Cheap, fast and convenient No, I’m not describing the type of girls I liked when I was single! I’m describing what I look for in lunch joints Luckily for me, The Deli, which is located only a quarter mile from my Costa Mesa office, has all three of the attributes I listed above. It even has a fourth attribute that is equally important as the others, their grub is tasty. The Deli is a super small place. In fact, it’s more like a large closet than an actual deli. The inside is no bigger than a bathroom at a Denny’s. The inside has two refrigerators packed full of different types of drinks, treats, fruits and other yummy snacks. They also have a few stands that house chips, cookies and candies. They do have a few shaded tables on an outdoor patio if you want to eat your lunch there instead of your office. The menu at The Deli is made up of basic sandwiches like egg salad, tuna, ham, turkey, etc. My favorite sandwich off their normal sandwich menu is their egg salad with turkey and avocado on a croissant. This sandwich is huge, yummy and cheap. This Sammie only sets me back about four dollars, which is dirt cheap. They also offer salads, homemade soups and homemade chili. What makes The Deli stand out from all the other deli’s in the area is their daily specials. Everyday I look forward to walking over to The Deli on my fifteen minute break to see what crazy concoction they came up with for that day. I have seen all types of crazy sandwiches, Korean BBQ beef plates, curry dishes, burritos, meatloaf and much more. You really never know what you’re going to see on their daily special board. Since I’m a huge sandwich lover, whenever they offer a special sandwich, I usually order it. These are the special sandwiches I have tried so far: Grilled honey mustard chicken breast topped with bacon, avocado, more homemade honey mustard, lettuce, onions and tomatoes on grilled Squaw bread BBQ pulled chicken topped with melted Swiss cheese, BBQ sauce and homemade potato salad on grilled sourdough The owners of The Deli are super friendly people. They are always smiling whenever I go in their store. The cool thing is they allow you to call in your order so you don’t have to wait for them to make it. The prices here are dirt cheap. I have never paid over seven bucks for lunch at The Deli. I’m not going to lie, I would not drive out of my way for The Deli but if you happen to work in the area it’s a great place for a cheap, fast and tasty lunch.
