All I can say is SPRINGROLLS!!! Amazing! Best I’ve ever had and I crave them at least once a week. I am sure everything here is great, but I can’t live without their spring rolls. Highly recommend.

I have loved every single thing I have eaten from this place. And Gary the owner is super nice and funny. I come about three times a week. My favorite thing is the turkey sandwich on croissant… YUM

I tried this for the first time today. My husband knew about this place, because he works in that business/industrial community. There were no customers seated, but they did have a lot of take-out orders. I ordered the«asian chicken salad» and my husband ordered the«cheeseburger with fries». My salad was delicious and so fresh. The greens were topped with thin and very moist chicken breast slices, julienne carrots and crispy wonton sticks. The dressing wasn’t overly sweet and very creamy. My husbands burger was made to order. The burger patty was cooked perfectly and you could tell they made the patty from scratch and wasn’t one of those frozen patties. The fries were crispy and tasty. The place is clean, has a tv, and lots of seats inside and out. Love this place!

Worked in this area for quite some time and never knew this place was tucked in back here behind the runway at John Wayne Airport. Had a great Jalapeño Bacon Cheeseburger with fries(was the special today) for only $ 6.50. Don’t let the low price fool you, this was great and everything a small mom-and-pop place should be. I especially liked the fact that you could substitute potato salad or fruit for the fries, and they don’t hassle you about letting you refill your own drink. Next time I’m going to try either the Pulled-Port sandwich or even the Patty Melt… actually looking forward to it.

If you’re in the area on Tuesdays Gary has a steak taco special that is just wonderful. You get 4 tacos and a drink for a pretty reasonable price.

I stopped in while getting my car’s oil changed over at South Coast Auto — it’s the only café around and boasts an incredible view of the John Wayne Airport’s runway. No, I am not being sarcastic — I could gleefully watch planes take off and land all day. Unfortunately, my chorizo breakfast burrito was bland — it was almost entirely lacking in chorizo and the salsa consisted mostly of chopped up tomatoes. The tortilla was also limp and rubbery. However, I’ll probably be back out of necessity the next time I get an oil change and will be happy to give them another chance by trying some other menu items.

This place is amazing! The owner’s friendly and they make amazing food. I normally get the omelet because its the best omelet I’ve ever tried. It comes with healthy non-oily potatoes and a side of fruit. Delicious!!!

Perfect place to run to when you want to escape work and find yourself in a peaceful spot. But how? I mean, this lunch place is situated right on the other side of the wall separating you from the John Wayne airport runway, where plane landings and departures occur every 5 minutes. Yes it’s loud, but yet somehow… calm and still at the same time. As you chomp on your stunningly good sandwich, staring at the planes in flight, you think, why can’t I be on that 747 going to San Francisco instead of a 1pm call talking with Denver. Le sigh. At least my mouth is happy even if my brain isn’t. Their daily lunch special is $ 5.50 and often includes their trademark pulled pork meat. My favorite is the owner’s favorite — the patty melt. That burger meat is so juicy and that bread is so fresh, it definitely gave me something to day dream about during those afternoon meetings. I will make a return flight here again!
