If a quick pit stop is what you’re looking for, it’s a good place to fill your belly. Food is good, not fantastic, but good to get you squared away and feeling good! I find their sandwiches are better than their salads. Boars Head brand meats are what they use in their sandwiches.

Nice quiet little place to have lunch. Classical music plays in the background. Their menu has a lot of items that I want to try but for the past couple of times I’ve ordered salads, which are nice and big. Grilled chx salad ftw!

This place is awesome! Every time I forget to bring lunch to work, I come here now. No need to go anywhere else. My favorite is the special #4, pesto turkey sandwich. Great prices and the sandwiches definitely fill you up!

Everything here is good from the breakfast menu to the lunch specials. They use Boar’s Head meat. Boar’s Head is not an actual pig’s head. It’s a premium highly quality brand of meat. I get a lot people’s that cringe when they hear Boar’s Head because they are used to foster farm or Oscar Meyer. My friend refers to Boar’s Head as the Mercedes-Benz of meats. My friend Luis and I come here to find a bad sandwich. So far, the Rueben has not been great but that’s because we had the California Club first. This was a mistake because all we do is compare things to the California Club sandwich now. We have not been able to find a bad sandwich that we didn’t like. The French dip is good but small. The burgers are all good but I recommend calling in your order before your get there, because they take a little longer to make. They used to make a BBQ rotisserie chicken burger that had thin crispy onion straws in it and was amazing but they discontinued that one. They also have a menu on the side for ramen noodle(okay) and short ribs(really good) and other options like that. Their salads are huge and range from mediocre to okay but that’s because I’m not a salad guy.

Two words — breakfast burrito. This thing will taste amazing and get through your day. You could actually skip lunch after one of these bad boys. People working here are really nice and the prices are great.

I’ve worked across the street from this place for years and only just wandered in today when my car was in the shop and I was stranded. The service was very quick and they had plenty of seating. The woman at the register wasn’t overly nice but she wasn’t rude or anything. I actually prefer that over someone who wants to hear about my entire day. I got my food to go and it was ready within 5 minutes. Great! As for the food itself, I wasn’t super impressed. I got the bbq panini and the bread seemed like regular grocery store bread and a little dry. The meat was very tender and there was a good amount on there, but overall I don’t think I’d ever crave it. I will probably go back again though and try something else because the location is so convenient.

Very peaceful and cozy café. Among all the hustle and bustle of the frantic worker bees and the roaring of jetliner engines, Ono café is tucked away secluded from it all. I sit here eating my amazing California breakfast burrito, and sipping on my coffee to the tune of such beautiful classical music. If the music isn’t your favorite they have a seating area just outside where the constant passing of jets relentlessly reminds you that your lunch is over in… Damn I’m late! Thanks Ono! I’ll see you next week.

I placed an order online and paid for delivery using the squareup link on their website. Some time had passed so I followed-up on the order. They had not even checked their squareup orders and the woman I spoke with made me feel like it was my fault. She then proceeded to tell me that my order didn’t qualify for delivery, even through I had paid for delivery(my office is a few blocks away). I asked her if she could make an exception, especially since they forgot about the order, and her response was a defiant NO! From now on, I am saying«oh no» to Ono. Update: when my coworker went to pick up the food 20 minutes later, they hadn’t event started the order. When asked why not, they blamed the lunch rush. There was one person inside the café…

BESTBREAKFASTBURRITOSEVER!!! Literally just made my morning! I have tried other items such as sandwiches(great French Dip), salads, soups etc and I honestly find the quality and taste to be above and beyond better than any similar deli nearby hands down. But the great breakfast burrito… ohhhh that breakfast burrito! and good coffee to top it off sure is a great start to the day! Keep up the great work over there Ono Café & Deli!

Fast service, great food. What more can you ask for? I work in the same plaza, so whenever I don’t bring my lunch, I head over here for a quick bite. You can call in advance to place your order, and then just head over when it’s ready! I’ve tried the salads, burgers, and sandwiches here, and they’re all delicious. You can’t go wrong with whatever your heart desires. It seems like it’s owned by a Korean couple, but the lady who I’ve seen run the front is really friendly. They do close at 3PM, so if you’re hoping you can get something for a late lunch, you might be out of luck here. But this place is definitely worth trying, even if you don’t work near here!

Wow! I was craving a Breakfast Burrito, but wanted to try something different this morning. Found Ono on Unilocal, and boy are the reviews right — #14c the«California Burrito» was the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. Definitely worth the 10 minute trip to get there! Ono wasn’t busy, the lady who runs the place was extremely friendly, and that burrito was downright fantastic. How have I never had one with avocado before? I will absolutely be going back. Thanks Unilocal

I have got breakfast and lunch here before and always been pleased but today was an exception. I got there a little early for lunch — asked if the chicken soup was ready and told yes. there was no one there and i still had to wait. The picture showed fresh looking chicken soup with a write up stating it had peas, carrots, fresh celery and chicken breast with noodles. I ordered large — for $ 4.59(pricey). After ten minutes I received a small cup portion, hardly any noodle, no peas and no crackers or anything:(Stay away from the large soup unless you dont eat much and want to pay too much.

A solid deli thats is hidden in an office park– rarely busy, so i can always order and get back to my desk Straight ahead menu. Nothing fancy. But tasty, fresh and good and a real nice Korean lady to take your order. In fast food Irvine, this is a hidden treasure. I maybe cutting my own throat my talking about them

This place is great. The ingredients are always fresh and the owner’s are extremely friendly and curtious. A little recommendation however, order ahead and pick up for carry out or eat in; the preparation of food isn’t fast but it’s worth it.

Randomly found this place because I needed to find a place for lunch around the area, and it’s located in a random business strip, but it’s definitely worth a visit! This is a deli with Korean influences, although it’s not primarily Korean. The menu is dominated by sandwiches, but also have a good selection of non-deli foods. I hear their breakfast burritos are amazing, but they are not served during lunch hours. I had their ramen special, which is just a Korean ramen packet($ 5) with a cracked egg(additional $ 1). As a Korean, it felt foolish to pay that much money for a ramen that I could cook myself at home, but it worked perfectly for me in that instance because ramen sounded really good. My friends who came with me got sandwiches(tuna melt, turkey club, etc.) and they all loved their sandwiches and said they’d come back again. Personally, I’d want to see if I can swing by breakfast hours to snag a burrito.

With a name like Ono Café I’m immediately brought back to the islands. I can feel the sun and heat, smell the ocean, heck even taste the wahoo. Wake up, this place has very little of that going on here. Alas it’s 1 of dozens if not hundreds of «deli’s» in the Irvine corporate sprawl. Sorry to burst your bubble, but the name alone is what got me about a year ago to come here. Of course they have the usual«sandwich» selection. Turkey, ham, bacon, tuna, chicken, pastrami, etc. What I like is there is no price difference in most cold sandwiches and the signature one’s. They over rice bowls and bulgogi plate which separates it from so many other places. I don’t they’ll compete with Flame Broiler down the street, but for the«convenience» only crowd it’s a really nice option. I find that eating boring sandwiches day in and day out makes me splurge more for dinner. I thought the rice is good, sauce is a little bland and thin, but the meat is well marinated and it works well with a little salad and onion. I actually get the bulgogi with teriyaki instead. The salads are pretty good, classic flavors. To me most of the dressings are a little bland. I wish they carried a wedge salad. I only had the deluxe burger which I found to be fairly well built with good flavor. I thought it to be overcooked and dry even with the dressing and condiments added. The must try items are the lemon chicken sandwich which pairs well with the cucumber, pesto and wheat. I find it gives nice surprise. Grilled turkey with provolone instead of cheddar. I find cheddar to be too strong for turkey. California Club is packed with flavors and sized well on the French roll. Signature breakfasts the way to go just because of the extra meats. I wish their hash browns were all homemade. The omelets are large, but a little sloppy in presentation, sure most stuff is to go. It’s not that I don’t’ like their breakfast burrito’s, it’s just Orange County has inferior burrito’s in general. I actually took another Unilocalers idea and had them wrap my omelet in a tortilla and I found that excellent. Denver for the pepper. This is a pretty good, local neighborhood café/sandwich shop. It’s tiny and can be missed when driving by. Look for the Boars Head umbrella’s. I personally don’t prefer either them or their next competitor Deitz & Watson, but they sure do have a stranglehold on the area. I tend to prefer D&W selling shops selection. It’s a great place to get hooked on. Delivery is a nice bonus. I wish they had pancakes or French toast.

Pros +Great breakfast burrito +Good coffee +Good portion size +Excellent value +Friendly service +Very clean +Free Wifi Cons -«Blink-you-miss» location –No refills on coffee I arrived at about 9:30ish in the morning on Wednesday and it was EMPTY. I liked it because I had the entire café to myself(including bandwidth tee hee). I ordered the California burrito and a coffee which came out to about $ 7.50ish(Forgot the total because I threw out the receipt, sorry!). The burrito was very good in my opinion. When I first got the burrito I thought that it wouldn’t fill me up at all because of its size but once I started going at it, it eventually got the job done. The coffee was scalding hot so be careful if you’re sensitive to temperature(As mentioned above there are no refills unless you pay for said refill). If you don’t like what’s provided for the coffee up front, ask for the half & half and/or coffee mate in the back. Most likely they will provide creamer for you anyway. The couple is Korean and they are nice. Their English isn’t the best so you may need to repeat your order or question. You will find that the wifi is password protected. The password is their phone number which should be printed onto your receipt(You’re welcome). If the password doesn’t work then ask for it in the front and they will provide it for you. Something I forgot to mention, you can also call in your order. Okay as for directions(With respect to the 405): –Take 405 and get off on MacArthur Blvd(Note: Please STAY in the RIGHT lane!) –Make a right turn onto MacArthur Blvd(Regardless of coming from 405-N or S) –Get over to the left side and make a left turn onto Main St –Follow Main St and make sure to pass Red Hill Ave –Make a left turn onto W McDurmott(Should be surrounded by business offices by now) –Follow W McDurmott and it will be on your right
