I stumbled upon this gem while meandering around the Omni hotel. I sat at the small bar, seats 4 at the bar with many high and low tables in the area. Service was friendly, attentive and genuine. The bartender made a wicked good moscow mule, in a copper mug to boot. He recommended the lump crab cake, commenting he would buy it if I didn’t absolutely love it. Being a California coast crab cake connoisseur I was hesitant. But with a recommendation like that, nydecision for an afternoon snack was made. The cake arrived and was the size of a closed fist. It was monstrous and most impressively NOT breaded. Nice crust from a quick sear for crunch. Big, fresh lump crab meat, zero fish taste. Just the right blend of spice in binding agent. The cake was creamy and didn’t fall apart easily, but wasn’t a beast to dig into. Grilled corn salsa paired well and there was just the right amount of ancho roumelade to the side. I would come back just for the crab cake.

I’m in town on business and ate alone, very quiet atmosphere not to mention the food was amazing! I had the crab stuffed flounder and it was delicious!!! Next time I am trying the crab cake, waitress stated it’s healthy, non-fried pure crab meat –NO bread crumbs!

The food was absolutely wonderful. A bit on the higher end though, I got eggs Benedict with blue crap and hash browns with fresh grapefruit juice. My serve was super kind and all around wonderful at her job. I came in on a busy morning just to spoil myself and I can not wait to go back. I have ate at a lot of places in Corpus and this is by far the best.

Just into town today and decided to eat at the hotel. Fantastic stuffed flounder with potatoes and asparagus. Pricy but wonderful! Well worth it!

It was a beautiful location with amazing views of the ocean. Service was good. Not much of a selection to choose from. I had the Corpus club and it was great, very fresh ingredients. My boyfriend got the burger and medium came out with a bit of raw hamburger meat. Quite unappetizing. The shrimp cocktail was scant for the price also.

Went for brunch. Brunch had ended by the time we arrived, but we were told that we could order off of the breakfast menu. Once seated, we were told that they were no longer serving breakfast. We decided to stay anyway and order from the lunch menu. We ordered appetizers. After a short wait, we were informed that they did not have one of the appetizers we had ordered. Once the food arrived, it was decent.

Sloooooow service. My steak was overcooked and the Gorgonzola glaze was too strong. The ceasar salad was boring and overpriced. The waitress was nice and gave us a free dessert since it took forever to get our food.

We did an early dinner here and had the Pavilion Burger and the Shrimp and Grits with Crème Brûlée for dessert. Everything was delicious and unique. I also ordered hot tea and was delighted with their selection of Forte Tea. The waiter was excellent, the view beautiful, and the ambiance and décor a bit dated but still beautiful and maybe in spite of this, had lots of personality.

Ahhh… mazing!!! Crab Mac n cheese was the best thing ever! Shrimp and grits were awesome too. Slightly pricy, but worth every cent!

The breakfast here is always sub-par. The buffet seems stale, and nothing special. The sausage I ordered had been heated and reheated so many times the top half was inedible and crispy? Ew. The fruit had frost bite on it too. See my pictures. If you have to eat here because you are staying in the hotel, the ham is ok. Nina, the waitress is sweet, and at least keeps you from feeling like your morning was ruined with terrible food. I expect more from Omni.

My wife and I had a light lunch. We shared the bacon-wrapped shrimp and they were delicious! I had the Strawberry Spinach Salad. There was a little too much dressing and I would have loved more candied pecans(they were awesome!) but overall I was pleased with it. My wife had the grilled chicken sandwich with gluten-free bread. It was very tasty as well.

I love this place for breakfast! I always go for the breakfast buffet. They have an omelette station, they will do egg beaters by the way. They have fresh fruit, breads, pastries, eggs, meats, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal and more. The view is great, you can see the bay from your seat. The service is great too! Vanessa, Melanie, Jessica, Kaylie, and Anna are sooooo sweet and make you feel very welcome. The managers are great too Jason and Cigdem. The staff here at the restaurant makes it one of the best parts of my morning.

Went there about a month ago. Nice place — perfect for business brunch. A little dissapointed with the food choices though since they are very mediocre… pancakes, sausages, eggs… the omelette bar is okay although the chef was very friendly :). One thing i really love is the croissant. Very buttery! Also the fruit selections is good. I think we paid 18 dollars each person.

It a normal hot breakfast you would expect at a hotel. I got the buffet for $ 17. Its best if u go early in the morning for fresh food. I went around 10am. And the food was in the heat tray for too long. The eggs were dried up almost crispy, sticking to the bottom of the pan. There were not many people in the dining room. The server informed me that they normally have an omelette area too. So if u like Omelette, ask the server about it if the station is closed. Service was great. I got a window seat with a great view of the water.

Quiet a beautiful view sitting at my dinning table while I can see the relaxing view of the beach… I love having a great view while having serve with delicious food. I ordered the strawberry field salad which contain all of my favorite ingredients. Fresh strawberries, spinach, pecans & Bleu cheese… All tossed in a balsamic vingearette dressing… So light & yummy. Next I had the crab cake… You’re talking about unbelievable to the 9. Lumps of fresh white crabs meat with a touch of spice. Lying on a bed of fresh cut corn and a touch of sauce on the side… I’m telling you the best crab cake ever made. Lastly the poach salmon… Another great dish. How can anything go wrong. The citrus taste with a medium rare salmon was to perfect. Let’s not talk about the wait staffs… Very very friendly and so helpful… Great atmosphere Great Food Great Service. Highly Recommend

I ordered room service so my experience is not from sitting down for dinner. I ordered the burger and it’s one of the best I’ve had. I also ordered chips and salsa fearing that the salsa might be bland. It turned out great with a kick of spice. Only negative is that it took about 40 minutes to get my food.

What a beautiful place to eat! It’s a peaceful little restaurant with a killer view! You can sit down with your breakfast and see the sun rise on the water or enjoy conversion with friends with a fresh lunch. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast every morning we stayed at the hotel. I look forward to my next trip and the next meal here

Had breakfast with the family here and folks it is a typical hotel restaurant. They have a breakfast buffet with your typical breakfast spread. They did have a omelet station with numerous options. The scrambled eggs looked dried out, but what do you expect? My husband and I ordered of the menu. The food took a very long time. If you are in a rush I would take the buffet, but that is what they want you to do. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito and it was stuffed with cheese and bacon! Pretty disgusting. The only reason why I gave three stars instead of two was because the staff was extremely professional, warm, and really tried their best.

They get a 5 star for their crab cakes alone. By far the largest, yummiest, jumbo lumpiest crab cake I have ever had, and for only $ 14. I also had the duck tostadas — to die for. I highly recommend this place. I just chilled in the bar and and ordered there while watching a game. The bar tender(gentleman) is super attentive and busts his butt to serve the entire bar area.
