We are locals and have eaten here before. Never again! Ghoulish server was obviously intent on being elsewhere. He looked dirty and exuded a peevish attitude. Food was o K except for the steak which went one third eaten. No apology for the obviously substandard meal. $ 70 later and a $ 5 (undeserved) tip on top we left never to return. Better choices down the road!

Food was good just bad very bad service our waiter was so rude. When he was taking our order we was rushing us. When he gave us our food he like spilled some of the shrimp on my wife he was very bad. Had a very bad attitude. The guy is and older white guy kinda chunky he took our order of o my 7 people. I know they charge the tip on the bill but here is a tip for you. He needs to smile more like screw that guy the sad part is that as we left other people said bye to us and to have a nice day. That guy needs to get fired. Other then that our food was good fresh and tasty.

…a lot of restaurants are shut down due to low chlorine in the water this weekend but there’s one place this place was open. We are here but the service is tragic. they have a full bar but no mimosas then when I asked are they serving drinks, they said «yes» at first. I proceeded to order a Morning Glory Fizz, then the waitress came back and said «my manager doesn’t want me to make drinks because it’s too busy»

Been here several times. Service tonight was just terrible. I sat at the bar, and no one even addressed me. I had to flag down a waiter for a beer. i was sitting there between 15 and 20 minutes, and no one came by to take my order or bring some water (they were not even busy). There were waiters laughing with each other and some were even texting on their phones. I couldn’t take it anymore, so i left. I paid for my beer with the hostess, and i told her what a bad experience i was having. If I was the manager, I would be embarrassed on the quality of service.

Service was great and Jonathan, my server, was very nice.
Food came out fast and correct.
They also brought me warm rolls while I waited.
The atmosphere was real 50’s chic looking and clean.
My meal was $ 15.10 including the tax.
I was there working for the week and decided to give them a shot. I’m definitely satisfied.

Food was descent. The only thing that disappointed me was that when went back half an hour later for dessert the slices of apple pie and cheesecake were very small…
Portion sizes on the chocolate cake were pretty good though

It was cold n the restaurant! Moved away from the vents! Ordered the captain’s plate with flounder, shrimp, oysters, baked potato, chicken soup! Enjoys the rolls and butter! The grid flounder was so good! The shrimp and oysters were eh! Has to bring my baked potato home! Too full!

Came for the 99 cent margaritas (Wed.) and ended up ordering the oysters and appetizer sampler! The food was great and so was the waitstaff Julio, Daniel, and John were awesome! The atmosphere is total 1950s diner like I’m back in grease haha but it’s awesome! I had a great time with friends, I’ll def be back soon!

I have been multiple times and have never been disappointed! Good food and service is always great! Plus you can’t beat 99 cent margs on Wednesdays. Restrooms are always clean and the desert is yummy as well.

We were there tonight and I will NEVER eat there again. First the service was extremely poor, and less than friendly Wait staff didn’t know featured dishes. A couple of the wait staff was arguing with each other in front of guests. We ordered a shrimp poor boy and oyster poor boy and an asst appetizer plate. The potatoe skins were very under cooked. The frys were very greasy. Just a very bad experience! If I could select no star I would.

We stopped in late for a bite — we were starving and someone mentioned it was consistent. I just has a pasta spicy plate that was good — my colleague had a streat that looked inedible — really undercooked. Not great — not bad. Might come back in a pinch but doubtful.

This place was okay the staff and waitress were great. For me the food was too greasy. My boyfriend and his mother really liked it. We had the ABC, the bread was drenched in butter, of thats your thing you will love it. Bf had the flounder sandwich, he said it was okay. The cloth napkins were slightly damp but put them out anyway. I think having this place after two places like blackbeards and executive surf shop (delicious)could be why we were not so wowed.

Mon, Wed, Fri between 11 – 4 there is a waitress by the name of Irene (Greek woman) and she’s THE BEST! Ask for her and you’ll leave with a full belly and a smile on your face. Definitely has a strong personality, but to me, there’s something about it that is what true customer service is all about.

I did not want to go here because of the reviews, but it was within walking distance of the hotel and we were short on time. I went with five other people, who all had the same feeling as I did. We shared some peel em shrimp, which tasted like they were frozen. I got the steak and shrimp, which came with a NY Strip and 4 cajun shrimp. I ordered rare, and the steak came out medium-well. The cajun shrimp had Indian spices, not cajun spices. This restaurant orders the cheapest product that they can get and charges too much for the quality of food. It was about 6:30 PM and the restaurant was dead, but service was still horrible. I should have listened to my gut instinct when I saw the sign walking in…“Oysters on hell.”

I always hate to leave a bad review unless the place is terrible. So to start with the positive, food was decent. Being this close to the gulf I expected better shrimp not not bad. Service was a little odd with three different people checking in. One guy even tried to take my plate while I’m still eating.
Other complaint — the waiter shouldn’t tell you that your entrée comes with two sides and then on the final bill you’ve been charged for each side, increasing ticket by $ 5. Basically changed my what would of been a $$ level meal to a $$$ level meal in my book. With that price you could do much better than this place.

My review is for the breakfast only.
We were not impressed.
Positives: low prices, food comes out fast, decent service, in downtown.
Negatives: very few choices, less than average food, Mushy hash browns, average pancakes, poor coffee quality,
The inside is designed like a dinner, (hence the name) but the seem to pride themselves on steak and seafood. I would be weary of that as well.
From Unilocal we were unsure of the breakfast options but decided to enter anyway as there are no breakfast options in downtown outside of hotels. The place is very warm, maybe from the steak grill at entrance that is turned on at breakfast. (Visited in March)
My wife does not eat eggs and the only non egg option on the menu is pancakes or french toast.
They need more options & better food if we return.
