Worst food ever, the food looks cheaply made and not 100% what it supposed to be. Even the steak looks like it was made of by-​product

Well came in at 1130ish for late dinner. Its after 12 and still no drinks. Waited 15 plus mins to even have waitress come to table. Two ladies next to us served dinner, without silverware. They had to chase down to get them silverware. Staff more interested in cleaning up tables then waiting on customers. Well appetizers just came. Still no drinks. No silverware or napkins… Coming up on an hr now… Wondering if dinner will ever come. Won’t be returning to this restaurant. Could understand if busy… Restaurant only half full.

After ordering a draft beer and waiting 15 minutes for it, I noticed that the manager was personally delivering the food to the table next to ours. Apparently they already had a complaint with their order. Initially I was offered a premium beer at a discount price, but was later told by the wait staff that the particular brand I ordered was not included in the discount price — the waiter was uninformed. After getting my beer 15 minutes later, I told the waiter that I’d like to order a second as the first took so long, I might finish it by the time the second arrived. We all placed our order and proceeded to continue with our conversation. The appetizer arrived and was the saving grace for the evening. Another 10 minutes later our waiter arrives with a second beer. Finally 30 minutes after placing our order, we received 5 entrees for four people — you do the math… during the ordering we inquired as to the ingredients for an entrée, and instead of explaining the ingredients to us, the waiter said that «its good because a lot of people order it»…and ordered it for us even though we had no intention of actually trying it. When the entrees arrived, half of them were cold, and one was missing the dipping sauce. When we asked where it was, the waiter initially replied, «we don’t have that». After requesting a menu and greens for the burger (it only came with two buns and a meat patty), we showed the waiter where the menu said dipping sauce and he apologized and immediately returned with warm fries and it (the sauce) saying «oh sorry, the cook made a mistake». He left and we started eating. THAT’S WHEN WE FOUND THE COCKROACH. It scurried underneath a napkin and we were able to catch a leg. We tried to get a snapshot of it but were too slow. We immediately requested to speak to the manager, who was apparently already putting out a fire at another table with another customer. When we spoke to him we showed him the leg and he apologized for it and comped our entire meal. We did finish our beer and left the table without paying for anything. WE WILL NOT EVER EAT HERE AGAIN.

by far the worst experience ever. We visited here with a group of about 20 people took us about 40 minutes to be seated. took about another 20 minutes on drinks, then took another 20 to order food. about an hour latter a fire alarm goes off and when that happen we were told that the fryers shut off an it’ll take them about 45 to start back up. Almost everyone ordered something friends so there goes almost 2 ½ hours of nothing. drink. They offered to box what food was cook an still think they would charge us I was pissed an said I wanted nothing. I didn’t pay for anything I was so unhappy with my service an my watered down coke. On the other hand my husband was hungry still so he got his food to go. After getting home he noticed his meat was still not cooking correct why still allow someone to pay an take home if it wasn’t cook correct.

This place is the worst Applebees I’ve ever seen. Tables were left un-​bussed for 45 minutes, including bar places. We were put on a waiting list for a bar table when there were four empty seats and three tables waiting to be bussed.
After being seated we ordered beer and boneless wings. Beer was cold and the staff was friendly. Wings? They were given to the people next to us, then, after they had them for 3 – 5 minutes, they realized it wasn’t their order. Instead of a fresh order, the staff wanted us to take our cold order of wings into which they had poked with their forks.
The other couple next to us was served a rancid steak. The silverware was dirty. The bar glasses were awful. A lady at the bar had to coach the bartender on making a simple Jäger shot. It was indescribably bad.
You don’t go to Applebee’s to have a great meal. You go to have cheap food and cheap beer, neither of which will make you sick. At this one though, you’re taking your chances.

We haven’t been in awhile because it is right next door to the movie theater so it’s usually packed at the normal dinner time but we decided to give it another shot after all of the time. I had the Brunch Burger (Seared in: bacon & onion. Piled on: fried egg*, crispy hashbrowns, American cheese). It was very tasty to my surprise. I have since ordered it again lol.

1 star service super slow to no service food was terrible will never come here again it was the first and last time I will ever visit Applebee’s

The two stars are for the server. Without her, it would be 1. The food was awful. I know it’s a chain, but my burger had huge chunks of jalapeño, not slices. Why is the management that lazy? Where else are they cutting corners?

Good sized portions and delicious food! Service was quick and attentive. Just bring a jacket, it’s a little chilly inside!

I love the Perfect margaritas ! They are the best ever and I am know my margaritas !! As for the rest, it’s a good atmosphere and good food at an average price

Love the food and service, very nice atmosphere to have lunch or dinner. Our server was very nice and kept our glasses full and made sure our food arrived promptly

What are we talking about here? You know
the brand, you know the food. You are either loyal or not, but certainly you know what to expect. A chain restaurant is built on consistency and the menu certainly is consistent, but what makes a chain restaurant stand out is the server who goes above and beyond to make the experience special. Luckily for us, we crossed paths with such a server (Steven). Our original server was running late, so Steven had to cover our section. While we didn’t really wait too long at all, he was very apologetic and took full responsibility and accountability for our table. In the end, the food was good but not mind-​blowing (as expected for a chain restaurant). What made the difference was that Steven provides great service and is an asset to this location. Keep in mind, as a family, we actually prefer the food of their direct competitor, but the service today made us think twice.

Did Applebee’s change owners or something?!? Because their food is SO much better! I got the Mac & cheese casserole with the chicken tenders on top & spinach dip for appetizer it was all very tasty :)

I’m not a fan of paying for food that taste like it was made by my kid brother. He only knows how to make microwavable food and that’s what this food taste like, a TV dinner. Oh and the pecans on my dish were soggy. Gross.

Just visiting the area. 5 stars for our server, Amber. She accommodated my oddly picky order and was so charming and genuine. She made our experience memorable.

Our actual food was ok. The food was really slow coming out and we had 3 hungry preschoolers with us so it turned into a crazy mess. First our server took my order down wrong as 4-​cheese chicken macaroni and cheese instead of a 4 cheese sandwich. He got that fixed but it was wrong on our check and charged me $ 1 more. Then he argued about the menu and went to look for himself. When he charged our cards he gave me my friend’s check with my card and we both just looked at each other in terror before checking which card had been charged for which lunch. I never want to go back again. We were there about an hour and a half and it wasn’t busy at all.

Horrible. Do not go here. I paid so much money for a rack of ribs that barely had any meat and no sauce! All out food just came out soggy and gross. And our waitress was no where to be found. I had to ask three people to find her for me. And then I had to ask two people for silverware before finally ten minutes after I got my food they showed up. This is a waste of money. Horrible service and we will not be back.

So, hubby and I went to Applebee’s New Year’s Eve… And got the usual that I’ve come to expect from Applebee’s…
Hubby ordered the rib basket and I got the chicken penne pasta. Food service was slow, food lukewarm, just an ok night. This isn’t a great place for great food and service, it’s just ok…

Another amazing review for the crappiest restaurant in Corpus Christi. This place is honestly the biggest joke in the spid restaurant highway!
Bartender and waitress and Applebee’s in general don’t know how to do a half rocks margarita/​half frozen margarita. Like. Honestly. How hard is it?!? If you can suck a straw you can make this simple a++ drink. Everything time we come here we have the worst service and a staff that is un knowledgable in the menu!!!
Hate this place and burn if down and build an actual neighborhood restaurant.
