My mom and I came here for the full service amenities while on vacation. They are top notch! We did mani/​pedis with Carmen who is fabulous and really pays attention to details and customer service. We had massages by Monica who is very attentive and works wonders with her hands. We had blowouts by Vidy and are so pleased. Everyone is wonderful and so accommodating here. It was a great day!

I have been going to Janie for over 15 years, I have enjoyed all her staff, from time to time, now I have found Carmen, who does the most fantastic job with hands and feet. My feet were swollen, cracked, painful to walk on. She took the tenderness and time to trim around my toe nails, that were badly neglected. I can walk, and now have both Mani & Pedi done once a month. So happy to have found Carmen

Excellent facial by the owner of the salon. The facilities were not what I would expect for a real spa. No steam room etc. This is a salon that offers facials. I would definitely go back for the facial though.

Underwhelmed with my experience. Saw a promo so went in for highlights and was charged $ 100 plus tip. Did not get a good result so had to come back a 2nd time. At this point I was only charged for a tip which she recommended at least 20%. Was told the next time I come in all should look like it should. I asked how much next time since I had to give my hair time to «rest». I was told 65 for just color or 95 for just highlights. I came in and when all was said and done it was 65 plus 95 plus tip. The processes were done simultaneously which I’m learning is the new short cut. The colors bled badly and I won’t come back. On the good side… the owner was nice and the atmosphere was upbeat. Just was mislead and under serviced with unimpressive results.

I was visiting in Coronado and came across this salon. I have grey hairs that are so stubborn and hard to color. I have ended up with three different shades of colors in my hair. I was immediately taken by Sunnie and she started working on my hair. She explained the errors that had been done to my hair and how she was going to fix it. I left the salon with all my greys covered and only ONE shade! She was friendly and the rates were much more reasonable than I would have expected in Coronado, especially for seeing a master colorist. I have found my new stylist and will definitely be making the trek across the bridge for all future hair color/​cuttings. Thanks Sunnie you are the best!!!

I came here for an updo for my boyfriend’s holiday party and the ladies were extremely nice! I told the lady (I forgot her name :() what I envisioned and let her get creative. The process smooth, appointment on time, and prices were comparable with the other salons. They also let me schedule for two other girlfriends so we could get our hair done together. I would come back here again if I’m ever in Coronado!

A great bunch of ladies! My mom and I went for a spa day and we were very impressed. Ask for Julie when you get a massage. Janie, the owner, includes microdermabrasion in with the facials! My skin felt amazing. Bozena gives great mani’s and pedi’s! We had a great morning!

I got referred to Janie for her aesthetician experience & knowledge. Starting with the very first call I made to her, I could tell she sincerely wanted to help me. She spend 30 minutes on that call just talking with me about my routine & acne history. I have moderate acne that I have always suffered with, but last Summer it became severe, which I have not been able to clear up. I was desperate for relief. Within one facial, my skin finally took a turn for the better, and surpassed my expectations. Now after 2 facials, my skin is almost back to normal! I plan on getting facials monthly with Janie, she is a miracle worker!

While visiting Coronado I popped in at the sanctuary and had the best pedicure I’ve ever had. Bozena, my manicurist who was from Germany was wonderful. It was so great that I made an appointment the next day for gel nails and was so happy with her attention to my hands. I am very hard on my nails. It was a week ago and they still look perfect. My cousin who lives in Encinitas is going to go down to Coronado just to see Bozena.

Meh. I came here and asked for a super low maintenance cut, which I stressed many times. I didn’t own an straightening iron or a blow dryer and didn’t want to. My hair is super healthy because if it. I showed her a picture of a sketch, kinda showing what I wanted. I was surprised how good my hair looked after! I was stoked! But then I got home and showered and realized this was a cut that ONLY looked cute when styled. Otherwise the layers flipped outwards all weird I had to do what I didn’t want to and went out and got a straightener. Hair was cute when straightened but I really stressed I wanted something low maintenance. I got the opposite.

Came here while exploring Coronado on a Saturday morning. There was no one in the shop, except Bozena and myself. She was a cheery woman and greeted me kindly. I requested a manicure and pedicure and she set quickly to work.
The conversation was wonderful and Bozena worked carefully and thoughtfully on my hands and feet. She was attentive to my needs, asking if I needed water, magazines, etc.
I had a delightful manicure and pedicure with her before setting out to explore the town more. The price was fair ($ 55 for a standard pedicure and shellac manicure). Perfect start to my little weekend away.

Just wanted to make sure everyone knows about viby’s talent. She does my wife hair and she cannot express how satisfied she is with her hair every time she goes to the salon and gets color or treatment. We recommended her to a friend for her wedding up-​do and makeup and was delighted with her work. She has not being working in the island for that much time so I wanted to make sure that I let people know that if you are looking for a stylist you will be glad you read this review.

My mom who does not speak much English was visiting and I brought her here for a pedicure. Not only did she get an excellent pedicure from Bozena but she was able to speak German with her. What are the odds? She left not only satisfied but felt very comfortable and pampered.

I love this place because my favorite hair stylist (well my only stylist for the last 18 years) works here. CINDY WINTER the Hair Goddess to the hottest is totally right! I normally color my hair blonde but today we went wild and did mermaid color and I LOVE IT! Cindy is the best colorist in town, man does she know what she is doing. I love her and the salon she works at.

This place is AMAZING!!! I stopped in to this adorable spa on orange ave. my last day trip to San Diego and the experience is pure BLISS!!! I got an incredibly relaxing massage by Julie, and what can I say… She is the BEST!!! I also got an eyebrow shaping by Janie, and she did an awesome job! I absolutely love this place!!! I cannot wait to go back!

Margarite Capone did an excellent job on my nails. I came in with a coupon and paid a little extra for the shellac, I didn’t realize it was so expensive though, $ 45 for shellac manicure is steep! However, I can see why it’s that high for her for the following reasons:
1. Absolutely no mistakes on my nails.
2. Her work station was immaculate, she was very organized and even her selection of shellac colors was orderly, with one paint sample to choose all the colors on.
3. I picked a color that she told me was a mix of red and pink, so it shows she can be creative too!
