I really like the grilled chicken with fried plantains, the juice are good. It takes from 20 – 30 minutes to get your food depending on what you order. The place is always busy. It’s worth the wait. Affordable and delicious.

The chimi truck is awesome. Some grubs if you are drinking or some grub if you are just plain hungry. I know others mentioned that the price went up a bit but seriously, a chimi de pollo for $ 4? That’s awesome.
The chimi itself is simple yet tasty. Chimi dominican style woohoo!

Don’t eat here! I wish i can give it 0 stars. I am a big after hours dining kinda guy but maybe it was because I wasn’t high or drunk enough because I thought this place sucks. I had the chimi churri and chimi de rey… Both were terrible! It was deep fried meat and a really bad hamburger with something that tasted like the worse cole slaw ever for $ 12.

After a night of drinking… el cuerpo pide grasa!!! You need good eats. This past Saturday — I wanted drunk comfort food but not to sit at a diner. As I was heading home I remember this chimi truck. Started going here in like 1998 and it was still there with the Santa ornament lit up.
As I pulled up the lady was pulling out the basket of pastilitos de gueso y carne and kipes. So yeah I order one of each. Then I got carne frita and tostones.
Enough said!!! It was awesome goodness. The woman on the truck are sweet hearts, quick and great prices!!!

SUCH A GREAT IDEA AFTER A NIGHT OUT. My favorites are the chimi de carne de res and the quipes OH THE QUIPESSS :) Best if tried during the sujmmer, when you don’t mind standing out in the street in tiny clothes, waiting for some food, but I’d be lying if i said I wouldn’t suffer through the cold for a chimi.

The most legendary Chimi truck in Queens… why 3 stars? Prices have gone up, you can’t order tostones without a meat order and there’s flies in the air… but I’ve never gotten sick here.
