Location: Despite what the street address may lead you to believe, this froyo location is located INSIDE the Coralville mall. Literally, inside it. In the food court area(which is closest to the side with Target on it if you’re wondering for parking reasons). I’ve never actually seen a frozen yogurt place in a kiosk in the middle of the mall, so I will admit that I was intrigued by the location. Review: Like previously mentioned, this Orange Leaf is located in the middle of the food court area. You can take advantage of the plethora of tables and chairs in the food court to eat your frozen yogurt. Because of its abbreviated area, the frozen yogurt establishment itself is smaller as well. Instead of a standard 10⁄12 flavor line-up, I think this one only offers 8. Instead of a gigantic amount of available toppings, this one only offers about 1⁄3 of the toppings I’m used to. Aside from the smaller topping amounts, though, this is just like any other frozen yogurt place you’re used to. You pick up a cup, add as much frozen yogurt as you want to, add toppings to your frozen yogurt, and you pay by the weight, so you only pay for as much as you want to eat. Their coffee froyo is literally to die for. Literally. Orange Leaf seems to be the only place that has«Coffee» instead of «Espresso» or «Cappuccino», and the Coffee tastes like a sweet, not-bitter version of coffee. I’m in love with it. Everything was super clean. The employee was reading a book(a good book, I might add), but she dropped what she was doing when I approached the froyo area. No toppings were spilled anywhere and the machines were spotless, so I imagine she was caught up on all of her work. She was really friendly during check-out, and we had a quick conversation about how odd it was to have a froyo place in the middle of the mall — but it also was pretty cool. Very neat little location — though the address is a bit misleading and made it hard to find. It’s not surrounding the mall like most frozen yogurt locations; instead, it’s actually inside the mall itself — but without a suite number because it’s a small, stand-alone booth. Definitely would come back again if I’m in Coralville. I’m not a fan of the limited selection, but with a limited available space, they did the best they could, and they seemed to pick the most-popular flavors to ensure they’d have something for everyone.
