Skeffington’s Formal Wear

I stopped in looking for ideas for my sisters upcoming wedding. Staff was extremely helpful and easy to talk to. They showed me a few options and even gave me samples of the colors for free. I shall be stopping back

Should be called SKETCHYngtons. Definition: dishonest or disreputable
My fiancé and I went a bridal showcase in CR, where he won a free tux or suit rental.
When he won the suit rental he asked the guys sitting behind the counter if there were any restrictions, namely did he have to have a certain number of groomsmen rent or buy suits there.
They said no that he did not have to have a certain number, it was a free suit rental for the groom only.
Fast forward to February 2015 and my fiancé and I drive 45 minutes down to Coral Ridge Mall for our fitting appointment. We get to Skeffington’s and are greeted by the assistant manger who then proceeds to tell us that my fiancé must have at least four groomsmen rent or buy suits from Skeffington’s in order to get his free.
My fiancé suspects that this was the same guy who told us that he did not need to have any groomsmen rent from the store.
They did not even offer us a discount on a suit rental. We experienced very poor customer service and had overall a very unpleasant experience. Want my advice? Go somewhere else, like Holley’s in Lindale or even Men’s Wearhouse. These guys are crappy, no wait, I mean Sketchy as in Sketchyinton’s!

Nice place, great and friendly service, fast turnaround on order. Why the 3 stars you ask? Well, the prices were a bit high for Iowa City (the same rental– shirt, shoes and tie– was about 50% cheaper in Las Vegas!) and the quality of the rented items was a bit questionable. Once I was wore the tie, I realize there was some wear and tear on it that I didn’t appreciate much. Maybe it was a one-​off type situation.
Again, very friendly people and flexible with your requests. Just make sure to check the items you are renting before taking them home!
