Nice clean place. A little bit dark, making taking pictures harder to see. Came for dinner, tried the chicken tikka. The chicken was a bit dry compared to some other places. But the sauce for the tikka was delicious. I think I could have eaten it with the nann and tikka sauce alone. Though I believe they don’t make it as spicy as some other places. I asked for an 8 in spiciness but it was more of a Luke warm 3. I was told they have a lunch buffet during the weekend for $ 12. Might be back to try later on.

My fiancé bought a groupon for here which was worth $ 20 towards two lunch specials. We love Indian food so we were excited to try out a new spot. We went on a early friday afternoon and as soon as we walked through the doors were smacked in the face with incense smoke. Im not bothered by much but this was very overpowering, someone who is more sensitive to smells or smoke will not be okay. We were the only customers the whole time, and the waitress was very friendly and helpful. The food came out quickly and I love that the lunch comes with a little bit of everything. Rice, naan(which i upgraded to garlic nann; so yummy!), veggies, chick peas, a samosa and rice pudding for dessert. The chicken was very tender, and so yummy. My fiancé said the sauce on his chicken korma tasted more sour than he would like but he still ate it. I had the chicken tikka masala and i thought it was really good. Not as creamy as other restraunts but the flavor was there for sure. The portions were perfect, i couldnt finish but my fiancé was. All in all, its a legit traditional indian spot. Good for large groups, and has TVs playing Bollywood movies to watch while you wait. Wouldnt hesitate to come back again.

Well Well Well… If I ever said I wish the cook was my family and didn’t mean it… let me clarify. I wish the cook of this awesome establishment was a member of my family.(Yes I Mean It!)This place was a wow factor in every way. The food was fresh and seasoned to perfection. Waiter had such a pleasant way about him and was very calm and informative .This is the reason I go out to eat. This exemplifies awesome. For 5 days I talked about this place after I left as my wife calls me a food stalker lol. Purchased this on groupon and I see this place as a unique find delivering palate satisfying dish after dish. After leaving I have purchased 10 groupons because I love just love the taste and calm atmosphere. Please no one call I.F.A(Indian Food Anonymous) LOL. Great Place! Please Visit.

Unbelievably disappointing! Brought a group of 12 for mother’s day dinner and I was beyond embarrassed. Ive been here before for their regular lunch buffet and it was nowhere near this terrible. Nobody could eat the food. On top of the food being out of this world disgusting, mother’s day dinner buffet prices are higher. I honestly would have been happy to pay the increased price for the regular lunch buffet. The most satisfying part of the meal was paying for everyone n getting out of there as fast as possible. It breaks my heart to leave this review but paying 200 plus for a meal we had to force ourselves to eat is more than unfair. AND on MOTHER’S DAY. On a side note, service is wonderful.

For anyone looking to try Indian food CHECKTHISPLACEOUT! They have an amazing lunch special during the week where you get any curry dish at the price of the cheapest dish in that section plus the 2 veggie side dishes of the day, a samosa, naan, and dessert! It’s a fantastic deal! On the weekends there is a buffet for lunch. My one request would be to have a vegan option for the navratan shahi korma! I’ve gone to other places where they don’t add the heavy cream to make it vegan and maybe you could replace that with coconut cream when making the cashew sauce!

Don’t miss the delicious weekend lunch buffet! Your taste buds will surely thank you. Just make sure you arrive well before 3PM because sometimes the food does run low. This place has as good Indian food as you can find in the area with a great variety of dishes. Dinner is just as good, but the lunch buffet is a must!

LOVE this restaurant! The flavors of all their dishes are fantastic! The weekend all-you-can-eat buffet is plentiful and affordable. The only drawback is its location. Not the most aesthetic area — a Margate stripmall. However, it doesn’t stop me from eating here. Delish!

Generous portions of decent Indian food, to satisfy that craving, and offered at a fair price. Admittedly this was not our first lunch choice for Indian food(Chutney and Pickle is closed on Tuesdays), but it was not a bad second choice. Taste Buds offers a menu of various chicken, lamb, fish and vegetarian dishes. We also thought this place had a buffet, but the buffet is only offered on the weekend. We each ordered the chicken tikka masala which came with dal, chickpeas, samosa, rice, naan and kheer(rice pudding) for only $ 10.95. The chicken tikka sauce was excellent. and you can select how spicy you like it. However, the chicken itself was a bit dry and overcooked. The rice suffered from the same issue, but tasted better when it was mixed with the dal or chickpeas. Both the dal and chickpea dishes were good. Samosa was tasty, but a little heavy on the cumin. Kheer was delicious and probably some of the best I have had in a while. Service was attentive and the staff were very pleasant… so much so that I wish I could give it an additional star, but the shortfall on the main dish makes this a solid 3 star restaurant.

I’m a regular here at this place, and there is a reason for that. The food is impeccable. It had a home cooked flair that you want when you are enjoying Indian food. My go-to is the veggie curry! I can eat this everyday… I pretty much do lol The atmosphere is bright and comfortable. The service is fast and friendly. All good vibes! This place always had my vote

This is THEPLACE to go for Indian food! Finally, a place that will make the food SPICY with the degree of heat I like, not this pansy Tabasco type«heat.» They give you a lot of food for the price IMO. Everything I have tried I like, the spices and flavors are on point. It is not new, like someone else said. It’s been around a while. Check for a Groupon too!

The food, the service, and the atmosphere are great, divine. The food is beautifully prepared and carefully seasoned with such grace, making each bite of any dish a heavenly feeling. From the rice to the gulab jamun, everything is delicious. The weekend buffet is phenomenal, which a wide selection of various foods are available to be enjoyed at an affordable price. There is an adequate amount of service, and the waiters and waitresses refill drinks with good timing. No matter what I order, I am never disappointed in this beautiful restaurant!

My husband bought a Groupon for lunch. They have the special where you get an appetizer and entrée two sides and dessert for a set price. What a deal! The whole meal is a lot of food. You have to pick your level of spiciness on a scale of 1 to 10 and don’t overestimate your number. I saw many of patrons with watery eyes and runny noses because the food was super hot. I had the lamb tikka Marsala and my husband had the chicken curry. For the sides we had lentils and roasted chickpeas, both of those were new to me and tasted great. The appetizer was Samoas and the dessert was a coconut rice pudding, both were delicious. I was at work but it didn’t matter because the turnaround from ordering to service to finishing was very efficient and I was not late getting back. The spot is definitely made my list of lunch options as it is right around the corner and very fast for a sit down restaurant.

We came back to give the buffet another try. The flavors were delicious with spices just right. The garlic nan us always to my liking. I like my nan thin and crisp. They also have plain nan and butter nan. Of course, they always provide good service. The patrons were a mix of American, Indians from India and the Caribbean islands, oh and a couple of American Chinese. A nice mix of ethnicity.

Absolutely excellent food, a clean dining room, and friendly service make a Taste Buds of India an excellent choice for Indian Food here in Coral Springs. Ok. I’m willing to admit when I am wrong and I was wrong to judge Taste buds of India so harshly over some dirty tables(see previous review). This visit to TBOI was completely different. Talk about someone who listens to feedback and takes notice. These guys really did great. We came to Taste Buds to give them another shot. My girlfriend loves Indian food so it would be nice to find a good local sit down Indian restaurant. We were greeted at the door in seconds this time and we immediately noticed that all of the tables in the dining room were clean and set for service(thank goodness). We ordered three dishes: the Chicken Tiki Masala, the Chicken Madras Curry and the Tandoori Chicken. We ordered them at a 7 on the hot scale and they were simply excellent. I mean really, really good. The Tandoori Chicken is neat because it comes out on a hot plate(much like fajitas do) sizzling hot on a bed of onions and the curries come in a cute little bowl that feels very authentic. We also ordered garlic nan bread which was frankly the best I have ever had. It was fresh out of the oven, light, fluffy and it smelled wonderful. Most of all my girlfriend(who is half Indian) LOVED this place and all of the food.(Yeay!). Taste buds of India, I congratulate you for listening to feedback so well. The food was absolutely excellent and I’m really happy to find such great food so close to home. A well deserved 5 Stars !!!

Close to my home which is a plus. It is located in a shopping center and doesn’t look like much from the outside, but it’s suprincingly nice inside. I came on a weeknight and were seated right away. Service was fast and friendly. I ordered the Chicken Tikka, MILD and hubby got lamb, medium, but was so spicy! He liked it though. My food was great. I usually get Tikka Masala, but with all the cream, and me being on a diet, I had to find an alternative. Ths was a good compromise. Overall is a good place and I would come back again.

Displaying curry colored walls, dreamy elephant graphics, and a world monuments mural, this eatery exudes a brilliant cosmopolitan vibe before even laying eyes on its rich menu. The brightly lit dining room has a wealthy ambiance complemented by soft bollywood tunes featuring the industry’s most famous stars(ie SRK& Katrina Kaif!) Our tastebuds were first welcomed by a delicious order of Chinese Bhel(a sweet & sour sauce based dish serve with vibrant peppers and noodles). Even though we were already full, as soon as we saw the entrees, our taste buds yearned for more. The entrees we enjoyed included a taste buds biryani special(with shrimp, lamb, and chicken) and a savory creamy lamb tikka masala. At an adventurous whim, we ordered a naan –stuffed with raisins and dates(Kashmiri naan), which provided the sweet balance with our lamb! To end an amazing meal, we ordered the restaurants première dessert: pistachio kulfi with rosewater and almonds. Shoutout to Abhi, our exceptional server who knew what we wanted even before we ordered. Overall, an ambiance of welcoming people, tasty food, and great service took our taste buds to another level.
