GW Sharkey’s Raw Bar & Grill

Use to love this place. Came in sat at the bar was weirded out that the bartender was making my shots while eating twizzlers. Asked for a menu never got one. However everyone else around me was able to get one. The bartenders seemed more concerned about taking shots with regulars my $ 87 tab could have easily been over $ 150 had I gotten a food menu and I would have stayed. I’ll also note that it wasn’t very busy and asking for a menu isn’t a lot, the bartender alao wagged his finger in my face when asking for a menu then took an order from the people next to me. Sorry I know the food is good just a but disappointed

Most people on here are complaining about smoking in the bar. Yeah u can smoke in here. That’s why I love it. Playing pool shootin darts and smokin a cig is a great past time. Drinks were REALLY strong.

Came in for lunch with my girlfriend today, we were the only table in the whole place. The waitress took our drink order and then didn’t come back for 25 minutes. We finally just got up and left, don’t know how long it would have taken to actually place our food order. Pretty bad for being the only people in the place minus what seemed like three regulars at the bar. Won’t be back.

This place is great!!! I play in the darts league and I love the wings here!!! The secret Richie’s sauce is great if your into like teriyaki and hot and garlic and well… everything!!!
Management here is great Tony and Richie and everyone here are super friendly, always walking the floor and always willing to help!!!
If I could give this place a 6 or 10 star I would!!! Whenever you go, make sure you ask for Megan as your waitress… she’s the best ever!!!

I wasn’t sure what to expect after having read all the other reviews but went in and tried it anyway.
Firstly — if you are allergic to smoke, coming in with small kids, this is not the place for you. Yes, the place is smoky and most of it is right when you walk in. The music — well, if you like loud thumping with curse words every other word — then, come on in!
While it does not get huge marks for atmosphere, the food makes up for it.
The food is more than decent. I was pleasantly surprised. Well-​seasoned and nice presentation. Good size portions. Our server, Megan, was amazingly helpful and friendly (despite clearly running around to cover tables).
We sat in a booth, fairly quiet for a Tuesday night. Not sure if I would come on the weekends as I suspect that it is likely more loud and crowd probably not what I would want to be around (i.e., the people who leave CLEARLY drunk and then get into their cars).
If you are looking for a neighborhood (dive) bar/​grill/​hangout — this may be the place for you. Prices are not outrageous and they were friendly.

I’m not sure what the deal is here. I thought Florida banned smoking in restaurants a few years ago but this place is EXTREMELY smokey. They serve a lot of food too. The food wasn’t terrible but it’s typical bar food. The smokiness really ruined it all for me.

This place is pretty not great. Smokey and not full of the greatest people. We didn’t try the food but I don’t think I would eat here.
Bartender was nice and remembered my name. They other lady not so much.

Try the «Richie» style wings. They are amazing and we have them often. All the food that we have ordered has been great… and they serve food late!
Remember this is like a local dive bar/​restaurant — music, pool table, etc. Huge liquor selection at the bar — good mixed drinks and cold draft beer. They do allow smoking inside, so if that’s not for you… you can sit outside on the patio tables or just order take-​out.

This place sucks point blank. I don’t know why they have a lot of five stars but I am sure they encourage friends for the rankings.
The only reason I go to this place is because a lot friends drink here. So the first time I went, had a bad batch of chicken wings, I was drunk and it was undercooked I am sure and was in the toilet the next day pretty much all day.
2^nd and 3^rd times were ok I didnt eat this time, just came in drank and left.
The 4^th time was the last time I will ever go back to this establishment due to their lack of customer service. The waitresses are nice. But what is the deal with bartenders anyways, I feel that now adays when you go to a bar you have to know them personally or else wait the 15 minutes for a drink. I don’t have any issue with the girls working there, my problem lies with the little bald headed hobbit with glasses whom said he was the General Manager, which I highly doubt.
I was there on a friends bday and it just so happen to be the hobbits bday as well, but someone was super sore for having to work that day or whatever it may be but he was extremely rude. We got into an argument before I left and the waitresses had to break it up.
I left a nice tip for the girls (60 on a 170 check) and wish that bald headed hobbit to fuck off.
