This restaurant is fantastic! The service and food is sublime. Every time my husband and I go here, we are usually greeted by the same host. As we are seated, service comes by very fast. So, if you know what you want, are hungry, and don’t want to wait long and want authentic Indian food-this is your place! Servings are plentiful and delicious. Also, make sure to try their drinks as well. Defiantly one of our favorite restaurants in the DFW location.

This was the first Indian restaurant we tried out the first day we moved here. We chose this location based on the proximity to our place. Atmosphere: We came here once at around 2 pm and the other time during a weeknight dinner. Lunch was quiet, and dinner was pretty busy. The server there was very pleasant and helpful. Food: We ordered palak paneer which was horrible!(This is the reason for the 3 star rating). The sizzling sheekh kebab was yummy! The lunch came with salad, chicken tikka and some Yogurt rice if the meal was $ 9 per head, which it was for us. The extra items were good and seemed to have been made earlier that day. For the weeknight dinner I ordered a plain dosa which was $ 9! The dosa was good but not sure about the price. I am a little concerned with their prices now that I’ve had a chance to check out the area more. The convenience to our place is unbeatable. And I would only order non-veg.

This place has come highly recommended by lits of friends. The Mixed Grill was excellent, esp the fish. Curried chick peas were spiced perfectly. Can’t wait to go back for more!

Was looking for North Indian Food and decided to visit Mintt for dinner after seeing 4.5+ rating on Unilocal.I would say the food is good but quantity is less than what you get at other nearby Indian places. They have a sit down service but you order food at counter. We ordered butter chicken, malai kofta, saag paneer, dal, ras-malai and were generally happy with food quality. Low marks for manager not honoring dinner discount that was on menu and for very high prices. One such example is vegetable samosa — two small pieces for $ 5!!!

My wife and I just had dinner here and already discussed coming back with our friends. We ordered Hakka Noodles, Kothu Paratha both tasted special. These items were suggested by the gentleman at the counter. He was very helpful and patient with our questions. We felt very much welcomed and loved the visit. Their friendly service is one other reason we decided to come back. We had a pleasure dining here and will come back to try other items in their menu. My One Line Review: Very Friendly staff, Tasty food, Wide selection.

Great food and nice people. Got the lamb curry with the naan and rice! Only compliant is the place was dirty; dirty tables and food on the floor.

We ordered Tomato soup, papdi chaat, tandoori mix platter, malai kofta, kadai chicken and gulab jamun. All items tasted great. We loved the food. However the soup could have been a tiny bit better and quantity of koftas in malai kofta could have been more. They added chunks of garlic to the soup which spoiled my taste a bit. For non-garlic lovers, this soup is a big no. I loved the malai kofta, but for that price, this dish came with only 3 koftas… Yes. Only 3… And that made me a bit sad. I could have easily given them 5 stars for their good service and food but i guess there’s slight space for improvement here. Improvement only in terms of adding an extra kofta. Lol… Highly recommend this place for good quality food. Will definitely come back here. Hope this place continues to provide not only the good food but also good service!

The most amazing indian restaurant in this area. I just love malai Kofta and chicken Tikka masala. The taste is perfect and delicious. I have tried many other restaurants around but none match up to mintt in taste.

Went on a weekday — only a couple of tables were occupied. The dal makhani, roti and aloo gobi were delish! Not loaded with cream and subtly flavored. Will definitely visit again

Great taste, easy going atmosphere, BYOB, reasonable prices. It’s all good! We have been here over 5 times. First trip was because of a Groupon offer. Glad we tried it. Try the masala dosa, a huge crêpe with potato filling. Great way to start the feast!

Since discovering this place(via Groupon) early this year, I’ve been back many times. The food is always very fresh and delicious and served very quickly. We’ve tried many different items, taking the recommendation of the young man typically upfront where you order. The people(owner?) are VERY nice! He always remembers us and even asks about our daughter when she isn’t dining with us. This place is on our regular list to visit. Love it!

First time we came here and would absolutely come back. The chicken tikka was great, the lamb vindaloo was perfection and the chettinad was amazing. There was some definite spice in the last two dishes but the rice and the raita cooled it all down in my mouth. A fabulous dinner.

Fresh food, great tasting, good service, clean, reasonable prices… what else do we need? We had a chance to finally visit this restaurant after bookmarking it months ago and glad we did. The place is located North of Belt line and MacArthur Blvd in a small retail center. When we walked in, the first sign that we were possibly in for something good was the fact that every table was taken and there was a small wait. We were welcomed quickly and offered a seat on a couple of banquet seats they had by the door. We were also provided menus to get a chance to review. After a few minutes we were provided a table for dining. We had the Chili Mushrooms, a veggie wrap, and another vegetarian dish. All 3 items were very fresh tasting, hot, and were delicious. They only had a couple of individuals working the dining area but they were hustling and curteous. Definitely a good spot to dine if you are looking for Indian food.

To be fair, I would rate this a 2.5 but opted to round it down for many reasons. The cleanliness of the restaurant was questionable. I ordered the roti wrap with paneer and samosa chat. Samosa chat was decent, however the roti wrap was just horrible. It had absolutely no flavor. The cabbage stuffing looked like it had been sitting there for days(extremely soggy and wilted). The best thing about the wrap was the chutneys. In an area where there are plethora of Indian food dining options, you absolutely have to get the flavors down!

This restaurant is great! The staff was good very quick and always smiling. It’s a casual place, so it’s great for kids and loud family members or starving friends. Plus it’s BYOB! We had gobi manchurian and lentil soup for appetizers. Then we ordered malai chicken(tandoor) with naan, goat curry with naan and a special order of palak with chana(instead of palak paneer) with naan. The food was great and I recommend the palak to everyone.

Updating my previous review, we got lamb vindaloo at spice level 10 with naan and the veggie dum biryani. The lamb was good, the other dish was more pulav like than dum biryani and was served with a side of raita. Pulav or half way biryani it tasted good. A side of salan would have been great. We mentioned the same to the owner, he appreciated the tip. We also got a mango lassi on the house. Finally a good place to go for Indian dinner in Irving, though not a white table cloth restaurant.

Great food!!! Beware of the large portions!!! I think I got the best biryani ever,(with a real good raita) Chat samosa really good, Chicken Popsicles tasty, Veg uttapam and chutneys ok but the sambar was amazing… Really good option…

pretty good! Service– decently fast. the check out guy is a little bit confusing, but whatever. Ambiance– okay– it’s fast casual, so expect the matching environment. Price– not bad for indian food about $ 10-$ 12/entrée Menu– alottt of choices. i love it when there’s of choices– especially good authentic choices like goat, lamb, dosas, etc. Food– the meat is SO tender. seriously, so good. my only thing is that i wish the portions were a little bit bigger b/c of the price. butter chicken– great! goat curry– AWESOME. Tip– they ask you spice level 1 – 10. i’m a serious wimp-o when it comes to spice so i said zero. my husband loves spiciness so he said 6. well, wah wah, even i can handle the 6, so if you seriosuly want it spicy– go the full 10.

So great, I’m eating right now and I’m so happy I can barely contain myself. A spice level of 2 is the perfect blend of hot, but not overwhelming. We tried the malai kofta(my husband described it as cheesy maple syrup heaven) the veggie samosas(amazing sauces) crispy, perfectly prepared. The fish wrap, again perfectly spiced and prepared, goes great for my mild husband with the sweet samosa sauce and the lamb biryani which was light on the lamb, but full of flavors. Would like to see a lamb only dish, but we don’t care, we will be back. Soooooo goood! Come try it out!!!
