Their food taste pretty good but they really need to work on their hygiene.. like cleaning tables, restrooms, water counter etc. .then it will be fabulous..

I went to this place twice and never felt either cleanliness or the service is good enough. Place is at good location around Irving. Food is okay, but they can do better with upgrading /cleaning all before they even serve. Everywhere it is sticky. floors is sticky, walls are sticky, tables are even more stickier. I feel bad for them. Not going back to this place.

The samosas are HUGE and only $ 1.25! Loved the sweet amli and pani Puri. The tables don’t seemed to be cleaned often that’s why I don’t give 5 stars. Other than that the food is really good

I might just be hating but I was kind of annoyed about this. i came in to pick up some mixed nuts and fruits for my in laws. I wanted them to use the fancy boxes, but she said they are only for mithai(Indian sweets), I asked her if I could pay extra for them but she said no I could not. I could not find any places near here that had them for sale, so I find it very odd that I am offering to give money to purchase boxes and you won’t let me do this. Terrible customer service!

Food is OK! The service is bad. They don’t call out order numbers and people just grab whatever is called out no matter whose it is. Ordering is really messed up. I would say service is pretty much non existent

I’ve been here 3 times now and I cannot speak to the food they serve here, only the sweets. Each time I’ve visited, it’s solely for the Ras Malai. By far, the BEST place to get them in the area. You can taste the freshness. I’m a very picky eater and when I love a food item, you better believe it has a lot to do with freshness. I’m not a fan of frozen anything. I don’t make meals and freeze them. I immensely dislike buying frozen vegetables. The freezer should be a place for 2 items only in my book– the ice cream, and fresh made Aamras to hold you over for as long as it can. That being said, I know in Irving we’re surrounded by a variety of Indian supermarkets and restaurants. They ALL have Ras Malai. But the majority, if not all of them are fresh. You can tell the distinct difference between the unhealthier & preserved versions that come in a can and in the freezer and what was made with love and effort. I know how to make it at home and I enjoy doing so when I have time. But for all the times I don’t, I’m glad I can always come to this place and get my fix(once a year limit).

A good place for vegetarian buffet(weekends lunch and dinner). Has a mix of both North and South Indian dishes. Chat — better than anything I tasted in Dallas. Try hot samosa chat or just plain samosa. Sweets — Really good only if you buy them fresh. Try before you buy. Snacks — Stale and really old stock. Dirtiest restrooms. Dosas are very good.

Very big buffet. So many options. I don’t like the taste much but sweets are good. I buy sweets all the time but make sure it’s fresh.

I didn’t have good experience with Royal Sweets’ buffet at 183, so never bother for it at this location. Tried chaat twice, almost puked the second time… so I stay away from it especially the mixed chaat. The only reason I go here is to get Samosas, pakoras and other fresh items that is displayed near the cashier counter in front of the kitchen. Samosas are good size and is spicy and tasty to take home and make your own chaat. I have no faith in sweets, God knows how long are those things sitting there.

There new rabadi in cups had green fungus growing on it. The sad part was that although the attendant tried to make it up to us by offering an alternative, she did not remove the spoilt batch — probably left it for other customers. …

Punjabi place. so try Punjabi food! The parathas are so good and frisbee size(value for $). Chats are good as well. Now here’s what bothers me, the furniture and the floor. always sticky and feels«greasy». The rest room– yuck! I know i know. It’s like a cute looking chick with a nose muck showing. Great tasty food bad ambience

Went there to get a snack while waiting for a table at Sarvana Bhavan, and decided to try their buffet instead. The food was remarkably good — the buffet had a surprisingly large selection of vegetarian items, with a good range of spicy to mild choices. I rate it worth a try.

This place is nice. I agree that the interior can use some work but the food is good and consistent. Very reasonably priced. I come here often.

Great Indian Vegetarian Chaat and Tiffin(Fast food and snacks) and, of course, sweets! The place is simple, cafeteria style with all plates and utensils being disposable. This is a no frills venue and the service is just so so(hence the 3 star rating). My favorite dishes are the rava dosa, sev puri and pani puri. I would probably stay away from their buffet, I hardly ever see anyone eating from it. Definitely try this place once!

I had a sweet tooth randomly, so I stopped into Royal Sweets. I got laddos, and a few other variety of methai(sweets). The ladoo’s were tasty but really oily. Keep in mind, the sweets are not cheap! The sweets are priced per pound and you can combine all the varieties. Easily blew through $ 15 bucks. Other than that, I overall enjoyed it. P.S: I’ve never tried their buffet or other menu items … after reading some filtered reviews, I think I’ll just stick to their sweets.

This place is hidden on the corner of 183 and O’Connor in Irving behind the Jack in the Box. I really enjoy their lunch buffet. It’s 100% Vegetarian and they have so many choices is ridiculous. I went today and they had 3 different kinds of paneer, vegetable dishes, samosas Pakoras, freshly made dosas, chala masala 3 different types of rice and many many more. They even had a whole table full of «American food», which in my opinion only a sucker would get after seeing all the Indian deliciousness. They also have tasty soups and desserts, salad and fruit. Go and pig out for $ 8.99(including drink)
