Aqua Tots Swim School

Aqua Tots Coppell cheats its customers by re-​scheduling paid private lessons with group lessons. They make it difficult to re-​schedule a swimming lesson if your child gets sick. They are quite money oriented and will charge you a fee to re-​schedule a lesson. They cancelled 3 days of lessons for pool maintenance and did not offer any make-​ups or credit. Swimming Instructors are good. Management is unfortunately not so good.

I would rate Aquatots, Coppell as a five star swim school! It provides the ideal evironment for young swimmers to learn swimming! My kids began @ level 4 and level 5 last year and in a matter of 1 year mastered all the levels and are perfect swimmers, thanks to Aquatots! Water temperature is ideal, training coaches are young and enthusiastic, front desk reps are polite and helpful to work with our schedule. Just the right mix needed for a great swim school! This was such a positive experience for me and my two granddaughters ages 7 and 9. They were always comfortable in the water but our swim instructor, Brian, taught them all the strokes and I think we may have a couple of swimming stars. He was so knowledgeable and in 4 days taught them technique that they will continue to build on. I’ll no longer sit by the pool and worry about them. The sessions were both fun and teachable. The staff was friendly, Debby’s greeted the kids and made them feel welcomed. The facility was clean, they had ample private dressing rooms for the kids to change. After each session, the kids were able shower off. This was a great experience. Thank you Vick! We’ll see you in November when the girls return for more lessons!!!

I had a horrible experience with this swim school. The swim instructor turn over rate is very high. The manager is often not present at the business. I felt that for the prices this place wants you to pay are very high, considering High school kids are teaching at this business. There is no professionalism at this establishment. I have observed the manager yelling at the employees. I have also observed the manager argue with the employees. I was also disgusted with the lessons plans. Don’t let the cute name fool you this is aqua hell.

We enrolled our two daughters the same week this location opened. We have nothing short of a positive experience:
1. They have had three instructors in a year and each has been very knowledgeable and patient. Initially, when they first started it seemed that their progress was a little slow but in no time the basics they worked hard to establish clicked and both my girls have progressed by leaps and bounds since then.
When an instructor is out, the card they use seem to work well in keeping other instructors up to speed on where they are and pick up where they left off.
2. Management. I have nothing but positive, positive things to say about the management team. Nick and his crew are both friendly and professional and incredibly flexible with us. There have been three or four times in which our busy work schedules, forgetfulness, etc would have cost us a class or two. But, to their amazing credit, they have adapted and worked with us in each situation without hesitation and without nickeling and dime us despite their being completely entitled to do so.
Most recently they worked hard for a week to accommodate both my kids into a weekend class to allow us to keep them in class. I can’t commend them enough for their hard, hard work on this front.
3. Facilities are clean and very well maintained.
My only are for improvement would be showers. One of my kids has eczema and would have been ideal to have a shower in which I could soap her up well and rinse off pool water better.
this aside, I would not hesitate to recommend this location to anyone looking for a great swim class experience. Compared to other options, it is just as effective but much more cost effective and you get first rate service to boot.
