First time here. And it was great. Nice atmosphere, waiter was very attentive. Ordered crazy nachos, fantastic!!!

We are in town for a conference and just finished dinner here with four coworkers. If I could give this place 10 stars I would! First of all we couldn’t have asked for better service on a busy Saturday night. The food was just as great! We had the brisket tacos ribeye fajita fresh guacamole for the app and the cheese fondue for an app. All were A+++. This place is a must visit if in the area. I just hope we can come back before we head back home in the next few days.

their freshly made guacamole on the Table side is really amazing and to watch them make it, their chips and salsa is the best. If your a vegetarian, careful with the rice with enchiladas they boil it with chicken broth, but I dont care I love rice with enchiladas. Maybe I don’t know about the rest of the restaurants, But this is the best place I’ve been too.

Where’s the cheese? It’s not in the cheese enchiladas! I ordered the cheese enchiladas, but, there was just a very tiny amount of cheese in them and hardly any chili con carne sauce. I ended up cutting out the bits with cheese so I could salvage a few bites to eat. The staff was very polite, but, because they don’t speak English, they kept wanting to bring me a cup of queso. When I cut open the enchilada lengthwise to show them there was no cheese, they smiled at me and shook their heads up and down. They charge $ 7 for what can only amount to $.50 worth of actual food(beans, rice, cheese, and 2 tortillas). But, they can’t actually bring themselves to put cheese in their«cheese» enchiladas?

Hello gorgeous bar/lounge area! This is my favorite part of this restaurant. It’s cozy and perfect for meeting a friend for a quick drink or HH. To top it off the food here is pretty decent as well. Chicken fajitas with corn tortillas. That’s all I really need in life. This dish you could easily share between two people. They pile the fresh guacamole nice and high. Great atmosphere here, friendly efficient service and quick if you take it to go. The chips are decent(I prefer my chip to be lighter/more crispy) but the salsa is legit. Look here, I’m from Texas and a chips and salsa connoisseur so this stuff is serious. But yeah, back to the salsa. It’s fiery and zesty(like me, sometimes). I could drink the stuff. Love it and glad this joint is in my neck of the woods. I’ll be back again and again.

We love Anamia’s! It’s not cheap but the food is amazing! Our favorites are the chicken fajitas & the tamales. The queso & the guacamole are the best! We will continue to give this place our business. The service & atmosphere are great too. When we want to eat at home but are craving Anamia’s we call in an order to go & pick it up. They don’t skimp on the servings either.

No matter how crowded, the wait staff always seems to get it right and on time. Table side Guacamole made to order with main entrees soon to follow. Never had a bad experience at Anamias.

TEXMEX! The restaurant and staff were all very pleasant. The food was ok. Fresh Guacamole prepared at the table was a plus and the entrees were more than enough food. The margaritas were every good and the pairings were very good.

Love this place. Good food and good taste. Servers are friendly, good and they suggest some good food depends on your taste. I love the strawberry and pine colada when I went there. It’s delicious. Chimichanga are great. Tacos, enchilada and everything was great. Except one time some person popped up from nowhere and asking for money. First I didn’t understand later he gave me a note says he is raising money for deaf people. I searched through my purse for cash since he accepts cash /check. I never carried cash/check in my purse for date night. That was awkward and weird moment Monet for me. End up finding 2 dollars in my purse and that person said minimum is $ 10 cash. I had to borrow money from my partner which is awkward again. I have no problem helping other people. I feel bad that is inside restaurant while eating food and not when I am noting in my purse /prepared for it.

You know the place is good when their chips and salsa is amazing. Also, salsa is on the spicier side. We ordered the chicken tortilla soup and bean soup in a cup. I was super surprise to see the size of the cup… it was more of a bowl than a cup! Definite bonus. We also ordered the fajita chicken salad. We split that. Everything was delicious. Their service is always great. Always attentive and waters/drinks area always filled and full.

Four stars seems an appropriate rating, and very well deserved. You will like this restaurant overall. The food is delicious, their guacamole is perfect and they make it in front of you, which is really fun to watch! Their service could be a little better: the staff is actually super nice and friendly, but at times you’ll feel kind of forgotten, and it may take awhile before they make it to your table. My advice: try NOT to customize anything! They get really confused and will most likely get it wrong. Then if you point it out they will apologize profusely because they are all so nice :) I definitely recommend to try this restaurant if you haven’t yet! I’m a fan :)

I just moved to this part of DFW and stumbled upon this great little unassuming Mexican restaurant. It’s very clean and well-decorated inside. We were seated quickly and the service was fantastic. The food was unbelievably good. Table-side guacamole is a must here! I also had the brisket chimichanga and it was the best I’ve had in Dallas. I can’t wait to go back. The only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is that while the chips were delicious, the salsa was just«eh». I plan to be a regular at this place for sure.

Not bad for a first-timer here. Me and a couple of my friends had lunch here and we did have a good time. Food: We were pretty hungry that time and it was the closest place we had for lunch. The food is good and it was served to us fresh and hot. We had a few of their best recipes and that made us very full. Yum! Service: We did not have any trouble at all. Waiters effortlessly and courteously provided our favors and requests, specially with additional orders. The staff was friendly and even though they had a lot of orders coming up that day, I just saw smiles and warm welcome to every customer they are faced with. I did not give 5-star rating because I believe there is always a room for improvement. But I would love to go back here and try another menu.

A group of us came into Anamia’s tonight for dinner and had a great experience! Our server was great — friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is really nice and the food was great too. We loved the tableside guacamole and I enjoyed my enchiladas with veggies.

An unassuming family mexican restaurant in Coppell, TX. Nothing fancy, but it was clear this place is awesome based on the fact that was overflowing with local families on a Thursday evening. Enchiladas were tasty, but the star of the show(and the must-have here) was the table side fresh guacamole. Mixed right in front of us to order in a HUGE bowl. I could have made this my dinner.

I’ve tried a few dishes here but the only one dish that keeps me coming back is their chicken quesadillas, which is actually an appetizer. It’s very delicious with the guacamole, salsa and sour cream! Their margaritas are not so great though. Tried the top shelf margarita and didn’t enjoy it much. The table-side guac is not as delish as the one served with the dishes… Wonder what they’re adding as it’s much more tastier. Service is the best though. You can count on consistent quality.

BESTPLACEEVER! I’ve been a reoccurring customer here for many reasons, it’s tidy, family friendly, and the food is wonderful! It is mostly busy on Friday and Saturday, but if you beat the crowd, you might get a glimpse of the wonderfully crafted food.

This is a great lunch spot. I’ve been here with colleagues a few time. We’ve always had great service and the food is always real good. The noise level is a bit loud as it is typically busy and it is a fairly open dining room. They have a separate bar area that appears to be a bit more quint. Lunch specials until 3p. Had to refrain from 5 stars just because 2x I’ve requested no rice yet my meal still came with. Not a huge thing but still made for an imperfect rating.

Just grabbed lunch for takeout, it being my first time here. Honestly, I was running out of local lunch options and decided to give Anamia’s a try, although chain Tex-Mex does not appeal to me. Been in TX2 years and still trying to figure out what«Tex-Mex» is. Having eaten my fair share of Mexican food via friends, Puerto Vallarta, Ensanada, Tijuana, Rosarita and San Diego, my taste buds don’t lie! I ordered the chicken enchilada lunch special and it was just ok(mind you I wasn’t expecting much). Salsa was just ok– no kick at all which was a bummer because I like some spice in my salsa. Not very impressed. The food reminded me of Rosas quality. Blah… and at least Rosas quality matches their price. My lunch was almost $ 10 for what I consider fancy fast food. As far as the takeout experience, while the hostess and everyone were friendly, it still took a while(7 mins) to check out and receive my food, and it’s very dark in there. I guess the vibe is trying to be «loungy», but I was surprised by how dark it was. No need to try again.

So I’ve been wanting to try this place for awhile now. First time here, my thoughts are: 1) no hostess to seat me initially 2)chips and salsa = good 3) fajitas had raw onions and the fajita plate wasn’t sizzling 4)both fajita chicken and steak were tasty Overall, good ambience and food, wasn’t able to grasp that«wow» factor. Good service. May stick with christinas across the street

Their table guacamole is a MUSTORDER!!! I came in with coworkers and we all shared a guac appetizer. It was a pretty cool experience. Waiter push a cart by your table with all the ingredients and make it there for you. You can control the spiciness of your guacamole, just let them know if you like it mild or HOT. I said hot but it wasn’t that hot to me so keep that in mind. Also, they didn’t squeeze any lime juice in there so it wasn’t that flavorful but it was still good. For entrée I had the lunch fajita plate. It doesn’t come out on a skillet keep in mind. They give you the fajita meat on a plate with bell peppers and onion. There is also sour cream and guacamole, side of tortillas. The meat I can tell was good quality. It was chewy and it wasn’t hard. It was actually tender and perfectly cooked. I love fajita meat so I would definitely get that again!
