I placed an order at 6PM for delivery on a random Thursday night. I was quoted that it would be delivered in 30 –40 minutes. After 60 minutes, I called the store to check on my order and was told my order was on its way. After 90 minutes, I called back and they were clueless on the phone and swore it was out to be delivered. I gave up and demanded a refund. I had to repeat my information 3 times to the person on the phone just to get a refund. I’m not sure what is going on with this place, but it has gone down hill fast. This place used to be reliable, but I wouldn’t waste my time on them anymore.

I just found that it’s under new management and gave it another try. The customer service I experienced was much better than before, but the pizza is still the same, average, if you’re hungry or want some cheap pizza for kids party, this is the place.

I am writing this as I am waiting for a pizza in a store that has absolutely no orders up. The two people working here doing nothing in my pizza is not ready although I ordered it 20 minutes ago. I asked him why is taken so long and they could not give me an answer, and then he finally said that this is how long it takes. Funny I worked for a Papa Johns for years, and I now work at dominoes and I know exactly how long it takes to make a pizza. It Doesn’t take 20 minutes it takes more like 6 to bake and less than a minute to make, especially when there is no business. That’s exactly what we have right now no orders, no Pizza is being made, no work being done, yet it took this long for me to get my pizza and I’m on a time crunch for lunch. I just now officially got my pizza after writing this and it took 25 minutes for he only pizza order in the store. Unacceptable.

I decided to get pizza here. I read the reviews and it seems to be mixed. As for me, I didn’t have much issue with this place. It’s your typical pizza chain. You order a pizza, you get your pizza. It’s the standard. I am a big fan of white sauce, so I get the Papa John’s white/ranch sauce with my pizzas. As for the toppings, I think Papa John overall consistently gives the same amount of toppings in each chain/store. If you find a good pizza deal, I would definitely go for it. I got a groupon so I decided I will get pizza tonight! I wouldn’t call say the pizza is amazing but it’s definitely not the worse either.

Called after waiting for my pizza for 45 minutes asking where my pizza was and after the employee, Ramon, told me basically there was nothing he could do simply hung the phone up on me. Very disappointed.

Horrible service. I ordered online for carry out showed up 40 minutes later to my pizza not even being made yet. There was a line of angry customers with the same situation. There was only 2 employees working one up front one making pizzas. First experience was probably my last.

My husband tries to give this place a chance, I, on the other hand, hate them. They can never get the order right. Tonight he ordered their all meat special. «Oh, The Works!», the non English speaking girl on the phone replied. «No, the all meat special I just saw advertised on the TV.» He replied. «Ok, the works» she replied. «Is that what it’s called?» he asked, «I thought it was all meat.» «The Works.» She repeated, «ten minutes» I dropped him in front of the store and waited for his return. «I don’t think I got what I ordered.» He said after climbing into the car. «When I walked in and gave my name, ‘You ordered The Works!’ She replied. «All meat?» I asked again. «The Works.» She again replied again. Sure enough to, when we got home an looked inside the box, it was not All Meat. Gee, What a shock. All I can say is she’s damn lucky I didn’t pick up the pizza, she would have been wearing it!!! Never never again. Papa Johns sucks, big time!

Two stars because we’ve had good experiences w them in the past. Yesterday I ordered in the morning for a scheduled delivery at 4 that afternoon. *Lots of forewarning.* At 3:45, got the call that they were running behind and it would be 30 more minutes — even tho I’d started the process at 10am. Ok things happen. Driver arrived and was very apologetic etc. no worries. Then a few bites in I realized the pie was barely cooked. Most of it stuck to the box and was gooey. Tossed most of it. I’ve been sick today and can’t help but think it was the undercooked dough? Nice people but never again.

5 stars because the gentleman upgraded me to a large pizza because I was nice on the phone. So was he. Great deals. Try the 2topping 1 medium pizza with chicken poppers. Great pizza.

There seems to be two teams of people who work at this Papa Johns. Team A. The good team. From the people on the phone taking your order, to their in store presence, everything is amazing. There is one gentleman, who for the life of me I can’t remember his name, whom every time he picks up the phone or greets you in the store he has the biggest smile on his face. How can I tell he’s smiling over the phone? His tone of voice says it all. He is very social. He will make jokes and just chat with you. The pizza is always great when he is in the store as well. Every time I’ve seen him there I also recognize his buddy making the pizzas. I don’t know that they’re doing differently than when they’re not there. But when they are working the cheese tastes and looks better. Perhaps they’re using just a little more cheese then Team B. I also hate to have to say this but, they actually use gloves when preparing the pies. Team B. The not so good team. Everything that was awesome about Team A., Team B. seems to want to do the opposite. When we called to place the order the gentleman on the other end of the phone didn’t seem to understand what we were saying, and he kept pushing the deal they have going on, really, really hard. The same gentleman was preparing pizzas when we finally showed up. He was not wearing gloves, dropped toppings in the grate the pizzas are on and put it back on the pie, and he was going extremely slow. The other half of Team B. isn’t really bad per se, he was just very slow, looked very confused, and definitely not up to the same level as his fellow employees. The pizza also seems to be a little off. Less cheese, yet more burnt cheese. The pie itself doesn’t seem to be cooked all the way through. From here on out, they will definitely get my buisness, as long as Team A. is there.

This doesn’t have to be a very long review. This store is gross. I ordered a pizza and there was a large, dead bug on it. I asked for a refund. They said I would have to physically return the pizza with the bug to the store for inspection. I told them the pizza was already in the trash, but that I had a picture. They said the driver would have to get the pizza from the trash and return it in order to process a refund. In other words, they don’t treat customers very well, and they also don’t treat poorly-paid drivers well either.

Terrible terrible terrible… An hour and a half wait. I call to find out where my order is. They say they will call back twice and times no response. It’s the customers problem the pizza isn’t there in 30 – 40 min and after a hour and a half I’m stuck paying $ 30 for crappy service and crappy pizza. Sorry Papa you lost another customer.

Never again. Called in my order and told the person about the Unilocal check-in promo. He wasn’t aware of any on Unilocal.Told him my order and said I would show it when I get there. Got there and two things occurred. First even after I show him the promo on my phone he over charged me. I caught the mistake and informed him of it. Second attempted he charged me $ 10 instead of the promo $ 9.99. I paid the $ 10 cause it was begining to be annoying. What finally made me pissed was I had asked for a cup of water for my daughter cause she was thirsty. The guy ask me if I wanted to add it to my card?! WTF… is water not free anymore? I did make a purchase. Fyi… most places will give u a cup of water while u wait… even take-out placed. The guy was the manager so he said. Grab my pizza and left… NEVERAGAIN.

Great fresh pizza with delicious pepper and garlic sauce. I just went there and the employees were friendly and has my pizza done fast. This is the best pizza in concord besides the place down town, and its alot cheaper. Dont go acrossed the street, when you can have it fresh here. I’m not sure what the one stars are for but I recommend you see for yourself what I’m talking about

This has been a nightmare from the start. This location is completely unprofessional and I’m surprised that Papa John’s allows them to continue to use their name. This was our first and last time ever going to this location. I should have walked away when I arrived and the total was $ 10 more than what was quoted on the phone. I had to argue to get the price I was told. Note this location is 25 minutes from my house. I picked up my order on the way home from work at 8:53pm and by time I got home changed and sat down to eat it was 9:40pm. Now for the good part. I’m relaxed, ready to catch up on Blacklist and I find that my pizzas are both under cooked, just dough in the middle with some odd tasting sauce and toppings. Everything about it was off. I tried the wings that I had ordered and they were like rubber. A huge layer of fat wrapped the almost nonexistent meat and bones inside, it made me gag. Now this location closes at 9:30pm so when I reached for my phone it was pointless. I called today when I got home from work around 5:45pm. I spoke to the manager on duty telling him everything that had happen. He told me that I should have called the night before or in the morning on my way to work. He also said he can’t do a refund the day after. After he heard that I was upset I was told that he would speak to the owner and call me back. He did call me back to tell me that I had to bring the pizzas and wings back to the store even after I told him it was 25 minutes away. I’m glad that I stored the pizza. I’m on my way there now… I returned my pizzas and wings and issued a full refund. Grateful that I got my money back, upset that I had to go through so much to get it. I guess they have never been a customer before or just don’t care about how they treat theirs.

My go-to delivery pizza place! The employees are always courteous, and my orders have always been delivered complete and correctly prepared. Delivery times seem to be right on the nose as quoted(typically 30 – 45 minutes). There are always great specials online, both for delivery and for pickup. They don’t use frozen dough as stated in previous reviews. Each pizza is hand tossed to order from fresh dough balls. Every pizza I’ve had is great. I love the Buffalo Chicken, and the Cinnapie is out of this world.
