Super authentic Peruvian dishes. We had the ceviches — all were wonderful! Highly recommend this place!

Well my last experience sucked !! There was people in the restaurant but it was not full… Well either way. Our waitress took forever for our drinks and then another eternity with our food only to find a freaking long ass hair well hidden inside the rice. I brought it up to the waitress who offered 50% offplate. Really? Yes will pay for the other half that didn’t have the hair… I asked to speak to the manager but he was«too busy» for his customers … Sucks… I actually liked this place.

Ordered Pescado A Lo Macho With baja fish, shrimp, scallops, mussels, clams calamari and octopus. The fish was amazing but the dish was covered with 95% calamari, 1 shrimp, 1 tiny dime sized mussel and 2 clams. I asked for a side of mussels and pushed all the calamari to the side(½ the plate). 9 $for side of mussels, and tiny wine pour also 9 $. I was dining alone and my bill was 50 $. Doubtful I’ll go back I should have at least gotten what I paid for — not a plate of cheap rubbery Calamri

Been there two times and both times I enjoyed the food. The service is a bit slow but when the meal is serves it is well worth the wait. Ceveche is so good and try the Peruvian ice cream! To die for!!!

First impression was bad because I was told the item I decided on was only made in the weekends(why doesn’t the menu say this?). Then they turn on the radio super loud without turning down the two Tv’s. HOWEVER, the food was delicious! As one other person noted, they charged me $ 2 more then the menu price. I’d say the chief knows what he’s doing but they need to take some business classes.

My Peruvian husband and I love the food and service. He has eaten Peruvian food all of his life. I just started 15 years ago. This is our favorite Peruvian Restaurant. We have given at least 10 other Peruvian Restaurants multiple opportunities. While La Mar in San Francisco can sometimes be delicious, it is inconsistent, especially with their ceviche. But Inca’s Grill has been EXCELLENT each and every time. We have tried almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. Can’t wait to go back!

I want to love it. I mean the foods pretty decent. But, the service is horrible and the prices have gone up. Wait staff is slow and you have to keep looking for them. Which is odd because there’s never a lot of people in there. Also, I’ve seen them argue with each other. If it’s family own and run that tends to happen. Won’t be going back there.

Came in on a Tuesday night & got seated instantly. There’s plenty of tables and a nice bar with a television in the corner. You can see into the kitchen from most tables, even still it’s a quiet setting. We ordered a ceviche trio, it was FIRE!!! So good, I would come back just for that. We got it spicy, I’ll probably get it a little more mild next time though because it was slightly too hot, but the flavors were amazing. My husband got the calamari which was fresh and delicious, served with red onions, lime, &2 sauces. I ordered the seafood fried rice which was also great. Contrary to other reviews, the portions are very generous. It’s more of a family-style dining place than individual meals. we also tried their purple drink which is interesting but good, very fruity and refreshing. Our server was nice and had good recommendations. We will definitely be back with friends!

Bad service. Food does not taste like authentic Peruvian food and is quite expensive for what you get. I will not be back.

Great Peruvian restaurant! We had fried yucca, lomo saltado and tacu locro with Lomo saltado. Everything was really good! Our waitress was very nice and explained the menu and gave us suggestions. Its a little hard to find the place, its right by 99cents store. I recommend it!

The Lomo de Pollo was very good. It was chicken cut in strips and sautéed with red onions served over French Fries with a side of white rice. The French fries were a little weird so next time I’ll have them leave them off. The dish was tasty with a Chinese flavor. Very good.

We have been there just once because it is on the pricey side, but it is really good food. I had a cuatro esquinaz and i was ok happy. The mondongo was kinda offish. I like the carapulcra though. The chicha morada was really good. I don’t remember if they had maracuya but overall, it was a good experience.

I don’t know why I keep coming to this place! I guess is my cravings for Peruvian food, but this time I’ve got food poisoning and that does it. As far as the food is very inconsistent. The flavors are not too bad but the ingredients are the cheapest money can buy. Will never be back

I was meeting my family here for my nephew’s birthday/family dinner and I was completely shocked by how the outside appearance doesn’t match what’s hidden inside. If you’re thinking of trying this place out, you’ll see what I mean. Also, this review is just based on service and a few other things I’d like to highlight on my first experience. FOOD: I haven’t had Peruvian food before but I was down to sample off my families plates since I arrived late. All the food looked good: a plate that looked like fried rice, my mom had some lamb dish and there was also some calamari which tasted good. I wasn’t that hungry so I just ordered 2 chicken empanadas which ended up just being 1 since it was the last one. Chicken empanada was okay, it was on the sweeter side and I ended up just eating half of it. For being $ 4, really not worth it but I’ve seen higher price empanadas at food trucks before so eh. Menu has lots of variety: chicken, pork, seafood, traditional Peruvian dishes, platters, etc. The menu is 2 sided and it can take awhile to look at it all. SERVICE: Our waitress wasn’t that bad, never caught her name though. My family can come off cold so I knew that she let us be most of the time because of that. CONS: There was just a couple things that I do have to say. — The bottom part of the menu is very straight forward: No substitutions No split checks No specials(something along the lines of this) I personally thought think that it’s unnecessary to put that, even with it being at the bottom with a medium sized font. — The whole restaurant had a weird vibe in it, I think it’s because they were going to close soon but it just wasn’t a friendly atmosphere. And that’s just my 2 cents. It’s hard to rate this place since it was my first time but I’m not even sure when I’ll come back again.

Very disappointed to say the least, I went here after being recommended and will most likely not be back. I did go around 530 to order dinner to go and am pretty sure I was just served left over lunch at dinner prices. I tried the Arroz de pollo and the rice which is a big part of the meal tasted like it had been sitting around all day and the breast of chicken was all bone and extremely bland. I have had way better chicken from Safeway and that is a low bar to compare too. Furthermore they had a sign out side for Happy Hour empanadas for $ 4.00 which isn’t what brought me in but figured I might as well try one since I love empanadas. I will say I was warned by the waitress that they were small but I tried one anyway. Again disappointed when I opened the box and had half an empanada staring at me… Really they cut one in half. If you’re going to advertise happy hour the half price is usually due to the slow time of day not that they are serving food that has been cut in half. If that is what you are going to do at least write empanada ½s on the board to save the disappointment. Or make smaller ones. The reason I was so mad about this is because when you cut an empanada in half all the heat escapes. I was pretty hungry so I ate the ½ on rhe road after pulling out of the parking lot. Not even 5mins after getting my food it was cold. I will say the dough was sweet and tasty and a hot full one would probably be pretty good. One other positive was the friendly service the hostesses and waitress were very pleasant unfortunately not the food.

Great pollo fritas roasted corn Since it was my first visit I was not aware the pollo brasa is a custom order item. The location is a small family run site, with friendly staff. A Little bit on the pricey side on some items but portions are good. Overall Food Quality Service is A grade

Service was great. Waiter was very attentive and had a cool accent from Spain, found it pretty interesting. He tried his hardest to keep us on point while we were here, really appreciated that. Muchas gracias for making my mother feel welcomed as if we were in Peru. Definitely worth the trip and money.

The food is good. The service, seriously lacking. The wait staff is either standing and socializing with each other at the bar, or nowhere to be found. Like I said, the food is good… however, it takes a very long time for it to be ready; then another eternity for a waiter to get a clue and realize that the food is ready in order to bring it to you. After the food was brought to our table, the waiter never came back to check on us.

BEWARE! They cheat you on their prices! I went to their website and looked at their hard to read menu(because it’s so small and doesn’t work on a mobile device). Then, I ordered my food and picked it up. When I got my receipt, it seemed the prices were a little different than what I expected. When I got home and looked at website again, sure enough, they charged me more for EACH of the items than what is printed on their menu!!! Everything was a dollar more on the receipt. THEYARECHEATINGTHEIRWAYTO A PROFITATTHEIRCUSTOMERSEXPENSE! I’m never going back there.

Food: Delicious! Great flavors, fresh produce and decent portions. I will be coming back with friends and family to share my new find. Meals were slightly expensive but for a local family restaurant I will give in. And honestly I left very happy with my tummy full. Service: I read it lacked here but wanted to try it anyways. The seating and ordering were done quick and efficient. We didn’t get any check ups once we had our plates or drink refills. Annoying but that’s where tips are lost. I can’t wait to come back! This place is special, fix the service and it will be excellent.

The food was very good and authentic. Ordered Anticuchos(very well done), Arroz con pollo(perfect), lomo saltado(excellent), arroz chaufa con mariscos(plenty of seafood) and plato criolla(combo dish — caucau was excellent, carapulca was good and aji de gallino was ok, very rich sauce). Two inca colas(come in cans) and two chica moradas(no ice but nice flavor). Alfajores are very expensive but they are good. Food though is fairly priced. Based on the food alone this restaurant would be closer to five stars… but the service is awful. Extremely slow, asked for water at least 3 – 4 times before getting it. Customer at table next to us received water and peanuts while reviewing the menu — we didn’t. Based on service alone this restaurant would have received one star but based on whole experience it’s fair to give it 3 stars. We would return again.
