I’ve ordered the regular burritos twice and they did not disappoint. Ordered the Chile Verde and Chile Colorado and they were awesome. Plus the price for a «regular burrito» is very reasonable. Will definitely eat there again.

First time here. What a wonderful little place. Walked in and it was nice and clean, 2 flat screen televisions, beautifully painted walls and lovely Mexican music. We ordered the bean dip which came with thick tortilla chips… delicious. I had a fish taco and chicken enchilada plate… yummmmmm. I would recommend you come here and enjoy.

This place is awesome! Drinks are good the food is way yummy. Our go to for a nice dinner. They know our drinks before we even make it to the table. The out door patio is great in the summer. The staff is wonderful and very friendly.

My husband and I came here this past Friday night. It was empty aside from one table and we were seated promptly, but we couldn’t bear to stay for dinner because it literally smelled like something died in there! I felt bad being seated then leaving shortly after(before we were waited on), but there was no way either of us would have been able to keep our food down if we had decided to stay. Invest in some air freshener!

I was so surprised to find the food here so terrible. My Aunt and Uncle like it, but I just think it’s because the place is close to them. I had the Chile Verde(felt it was the safest choice because it seems like it would be fresher because it’s a popular choice). Not true, it had a soapy, chemical taste. My sister was not impressed with her fish tacos. The beans were colorless and bland. The salsa was the only thing that I thought was any good. The margarita was too sweet, and the waiter was indifferent. I don’t see anything worth coming back for. Sorry.

Very delicious food, drinks, and large portions all at reasonable prices! Went in on a Wednesday at 1:30 so there wasn’t anyone else there however it didn’t bother us and the service was excellent. We were a party of 2, each ordered meals and had enough food left over for lunch the next day.

As far as the food goes, I give this place 5 stars for tastiness! If I could give 10 stars for their margaritas I would! Hands down the best place in the concord area for margaritas!!! I tried their tamarind margarita and it was the best margarita I have ever had. Their bean dip rocks.

We’ve been here five times till date . Have not been disappointed with their food service. Food is delicious and the portions are generous. Prices are reasonable and definitely making this our go to Mexican restaurant . 21days later, we’re back again . Truly authentic Mexican food . Really enjoy their food & service.

I’d give it 4.5 stars! Just moved offices out here and trying all the local Mexican restaurants and this has been the best of the 6 – 8 that I’ve been to. Food was by far the best. Only deduction was the ordinary chips that came complimentary(but hey, they’re free!). I got shrimp burrito no rice and my son got the wet steak burrito. Each was filled with the main ingredient. We also got the guacamole that was great. Thick and flavorful. It came with different chips which were firm and fresh and perfect for scooping. Next time I would ask for those chips as complimentary though unsure if they do that. Definitely a go to stop for Mexican food.

The wife told me she saw a new Mexican restaurant on Unilocal earlier in the day and said we HAD to go eat there, that tonight. This isn’t unusual in our family and we both have less patience then our«expertly trained» rabbit who if it hears about a new Iphone cord I just bought it must seek it out and destroy it right then. When we made it to the restaurant I was a little weary since it was about 5:30 and we were the only ones there. I made a joke to my wife about the lack off patrons and how I was scared to eat there but boy did that come back to bite me. I ordered three carnitas tacos and a soda. While we were waiting for the tacos they brought out chips and salsa and without a doubt it was the best mild salsa I have ever had. The flavor was amazing from the first to the last bite. My wife asked for some hot salsa and when she tried it, told me I couldn’t handle and I shouldn’t try it. It was probably her plan to keep me away from salsa and hoard it for herself. Her plan worked and along with the spiciness she said flavor was excellent. When the tacos came I was just finishing up the second bowl of chips and I was just as happy with the tacos. Everything tasted so fresh and the meat was cooked exactly how I ordered it. The tacos themselves were a little more expensive then most, but it was a restaurant and not a taco truck or a taqueria and I expected it to be a little more. Definitely worth returning as soon as I get the chance I wish I could buy the salsa by the container. Its definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.

Typically, walking into an empty restaurant with the server sitting by one of the tables looking absolutely bored portend mediocre food at best(if Lady Luck were being gracious that day, of course). This is what we saw when we came to Meson Azteca and I almost backed out had I not seen how the aforementioned server practically light up when he saw his first customers of the evening. The service was incredibly warm and stayed constant even though the restaurant got more diners within our stay. Our waiter gave us chips and salsa when he gave us the menu. The chips were good, but the salsa was just alright. We ordered two soft tacos al pastor, wet burrito with grilled chicken, and carnitas super burrito. I also asked for a spicy salsa on the side, which was addictive in its deliciousness. The tacos were quite pretty and very tasty also. The wet burrito, which I ordered with half red and half green, would have been better off just as a super burrito. The fillings were tasty but the salsas were just not very flavorful. The super burrito, I was told, was fantastic. All orders were quite generous and reasonably priced. Just a block off of Todos Santos Plaza, I know I will be back to Meson Azteca for tacos and burritos.

The family was looking for a new Mexican restaurant to try instead of the same ol’, same ol’. So we stopped in here and we are glad we did. Nothing spectacular about the place itself but the food was very good and the service was good. We opened with a couple house margaritas which were good as house drinks go. They even brought us a couple small Prickly Pear margaritas free as a sample. They were awesome. The wife had a Wet(red sauce) Steak Burrito. It was really really good! I had a Carnitas Super Burrito with light beans. Very good burrito. Kids had some cheese quesadillas with rice on the side. The kids meals are a good value @ $ 4.95 ea. Overall we were happy with our choice and will be going back. The wife even went so far as to say she preferred it over La Piñata.

Ate here for the first time and had a very good experience. Yummy Prickly Pear Margaritas $ 7, free chips and delish salsa, just-right not-too-spicy Chiles Rellenos, my friend liked her shrimp Fajitas. Very attentive waiter. Pleasant to sit outside on the quite street.

Stopped in for a family meal and was not disappointed! Everything we ordered was great — fish tacos, chili relleno, wet burrito, enchiladas. Was very pleased to see vegetarian and vegan friendly items on menu. All had distinctive flavor and good quantity. Would recommend to anyone who wants a good meal. Nice interior setting, and cute patio area for outside dining. This was our first visit, and I discovered as we left after 9p that they closed at 8:30p. KUDOS to staff for not faltering on customer service despite our ignorance of their hours. Will definitely be back!

Love this place. The outside seating is wonderful for dog owners, they will even provide water for your dog. The food is wonderful, if you do not see what you want on the menu don’t worry they will make you what you like. Gerardo is absolutely wonderful, he checks on you to make sure you are always doing well. I recommend you give them a try and sit where Gerardo can be your waiter. Thank you!

I’ve been to so many restaurants in the Todos Santos area, yet down a street I never walked sits a restaurant I never knew existed. Its a bit of a small place with both indoor and outdoor seating. The interior reminds me of a small dance club, and I am in love with the color scheme. They have mellow mexican music playing in the background. The chips and salsa are free and taste fabulous. Both are obviously made fresh, and the salsa has a bit of a spicy kick to it. I ordered the two item plate with a steak soft taco and a steak enchilda. The plate came with rice and beans, and this may be a small thing but I loved the plating. It went left to right; beans, enchilada, rice, and my taco. I know, I’m strange. The enchilada was pretty good but fell apart quickly after cutting. The taco was stuffed to the brink with steak, lettuce, tomato, and cheese. It was deliciously messy to eat. The rice and beans had awesome flavor as well. No salt was needed which is a first for me, and the sauce from the enchilada definitely made them both even better. I tried a bite of a flauta, but the best part was dipping it into the pepper jelly that came eith it. Hot and sweet is one of the best combinations ever! The service is great here. We had at least three different servers helping us out. They were all friendly, and really made sure we were taken care of and having a great time. Yet another amazing mexican restaurant in the Todos Santos Plaza.

Had dinner here last night with some friends. Very Good food at reasonable prices. Really good chips and salsa. The Flautas were amazing as an appetizer. Also a top shelf pitcher of Margaritas. I had the Chili Rellanos Carne Asada, which was one of their specials of the night. It was more than I could finish and it was heavenly. The service was very good also. We sat outside on the patio which was nice as it was a lovely warm evening. If you go, be sure and save room for dessert. We had the Fried Plantains. Warm and gooey with a hint of crunch. It was pretty quiet for a Saturday night, but I think when the word gets out this place will be packed. I hope they are successful, as it’s a great to find a really good authentic Mexican restaurant right here in Concord.
