Minuteman Pizza

We have tried this pizza quite a few times. The first time was good, the rest just went down hill. Delivery is never done on time, when we have ordered it then picked it up, the order was always messed up. The flavor is non existent, the crust is horrible, and the service is the worst. This time we had ordered two x-​larges with dessert breadsticks and regular bread sticks… they were supposed to come with sauces… those didnt come with the delivery man. We will NEVER order from them again. EVER!

So on Wednesday night we decided to try them again (two pizzas) — and it was terrible! First, they quoted us a 30 minute time window to pick up the pizza. When we got there, the pizza was lukewarm! Also, the toppings we chose were not cooked throughly. It seemed like they didn’t know how long it would take to make the pizzas so just picked a random time frame. Also, it seemed like they put the toppings on after they cooked the pizza. It was pretty gross, so I don’t believe we’ll be going to this location again. :(

Pizza is often a convenience food. We buy what’s nearby home, work or where we are at the time.
The box says Fast! Fresh! Fantastic! Ehhh…2 out of 3. It was ready in the quoted time and nothing lead me to believe it was less than fresh. Fantastic, not so much. It was above average (thin crust) and by that I mean better than the national chains at a decent price point. They always have coupons.
I walked-​in and ordered on-​site right as the only worker answered a call from someone that clearly had no idea what they wanted so she multi-​tasked and took my order at the same time and didn’t miss a beat on the call. It was impressive.

I’ve been seeing ads for Minuteman Pizza for years, and for years I’ve been saying, «Hey, I should try that place,» but it never happens. Since a new location just opened in my neighborhood, I figured it was time to follow through.
Unfortunately, I probably won’t be trying it again. The topping selection is impressive, including some rare (for Columbus) items such as artichoke, but the pizza was surprisingly flavorless. I can’t even pinpoint the problem… maybe not enough sauce? I don’t know. It just didn’t taste like much of anything (which is odd, because now, three hours later, I can taste garlic in my mouth). The hand-​tossed crust wasn’t too impressive, either, and it was about two inches wide… about a third of the width of each slice. Too much crust.
I really wish the pizza had been good, because every other part of the experience was excellent. I was extremely surprised to find they had online ordering; I don’t know of another local chain that does, and it was easier to use than some of the national chains’ sites. When I realized I’d made a mistake in ordering, I called the store, and the person I talked to was very helpful and friendly. Likewise, the delivery driver had a smile on his face (despite the 0-​degree wind chill) and the pizza arrived on time.
But sadly, the pizza itself just didn’t do it for me. Sorry.
